~3RD PERSON~

It has been about one month since Kari joined the Fairy Tail guild now and she was officially in a team with Natsu, Gray, Happy, Lucy, and Erza. Juvia and Gajeel were also members of their guild and their team. Last night, though, Kari had a nightmare about her dad.

~the nightmare~

Kari was in a black room with nothing in it but a window in the door where her father was looking in. she was holding her knees with her head buried in them and crying. Her father was a silhouette, a shadow but you could see a creepy evil white smirk come across his face from one cheek to the center of hic face.

“Now if you run away again young lady,” he held up a whip. “You’ll feel this come in contact with your bare back! Just like when you were a little girl!” He laughed evilly. “Only this time it’ll be MUCH HARDER THEN THAT!!” Kari started shaking in fear.

“I-I hate y-you~ " she mumbled. “I-I’ll keep quiet and stay. Just don’t hurt me~!” she was desperate. Her father nodded.

“Just do what I say and I’ll let you keep your PATHETIC life!” he left the window and Kari lay down in a pool of her blood panting. She had gotten beaten earlier so she was bleeding out massively.

“What happened~ why am I back to the starting point?”

~ end of nightmare. That night~

Kari jolted up with a gasp. “A nightmare?” she looked out the window to the full moon. “That was the worst one yet.” She groaned and didn’t go back to sleep that night.

~the present~

Kari was all ‘doom and gloom’ today since she had that nightmare. Happy and Lucy tried to cheer her up.

“Oh come on Kari! Cheer up!” Lucy pleaded.

“AYE~! Turn that frown upside down!” Happy was hovering upside down in front of Kari trying to make her laugh.

“Fire dragon roar~” she stated and grilled happy but didn’t hurt him much.

“AYE~ I’ll leave it to you Lucy~!” Happy left and Lucy got a little mad at him.

“THAT CAT’S GONNA GET IT!” Lucy mumbled. Kari glared at her. “Uh-uh HAPPY WAIT FOR ME!!” Lucy ran off. Everyone steered clear of Kari, even ERZA!

“Something must’ve happened last night.” Erza whispered to Gajeel, Juvia, Gray, Happy, Lucy, and Katsu.

“Aye~~”

“She was all happy the other day!” Gray commented.

“I’ll go cheer her up!” Natsu got up.

“ARE YOU CRAZY NATSU?!” Happy protested. “THAT’S SUICIDE!” Happy tried to hold him back. "You just saw the death glare she gave Lucy! Your a dead man if you go to her now!"

“But she’s my friend!” Natsu forced Happy to let go then walked up to Kari. “Hey, you ok?” Kari glared at him. “You won’t scare me with that look.” She blinked then looked at Natsu blankly. This look scared Natsu. To see his friend like this it truly scared him more than he was scared of Erza. She looked away.

“I gotta get goin…” Kari got up with a dark, upset aura surrounding her. She kept looking down.

“Kari!” Natsu followed. Lucy, Happy, Gray,  Erza, Juvia, and Gajeel got up and followed. Kari walked on and on until she was in front of the park. She sat down facing the sunset under a tree. She gulped then got back up to walk on again into the city.

“KARI!?” called Natsu.

“Come on! Where are ya! Kari!” Gray yelled out.

"Kari, com on out, please?" Lucy and Juvia called out.

"KARI!! GET OUT HERE NOW!!" Gajeel roared.

"KARI I WILL PUNISH YOU SEVERELY IF YOU DO NOT SHOW YOUR SELF THIS INSTANT!!" Erza threatned. No luck. They did not give up though.

Kari was at the edge if the city, slowly walking towards the city limits that was miles away. She could hear her friends calling for her but she refused to respond.

"I won't go back... Not until I'm done..." She mumbled to herself then sped up. She went to her home and grabbed her things and then began running to the edge of the city. Wanting to look back, but didn't.
