(Hey this is my first one-shot. This deals with a character I made, who is transgender and comimg out to his friend. Enjoy! :) )

(Alex's P.O.V)

      I sat on my bed with my knees to my chest. Many ideas and thoughts swirled in my head. In order to ease my nerves I glance around my room. Posters of my favorite actress and the bands I cherished, their eyes bore through my soul as through they could see my secrets. It chilled me to the core. I quickly turned my focus to the phone that laid at the end of my unkempt bed and I was instantly filled with a feeling of anxiety and fear. I reached for the device and read thought the conversation from hours prior. Nothing out of the ordinary, only simple comments about the teachers in the school and the game coming soon. I felt a sudden surge of energy and confidence course through my veins as I started letting my fingers glide across the keys as a message formed on the screen. 

    Alex :  "Hey Damian! I was wondering if you were free this weekend"

     Once the message sent I insistently felt regretful. I have to delete he comment before it gets to him. Oh God hes replying! I can't take it back! I CAN'T TAKE IT BACK! I saw the replay come in. 

   Damian:   "Yeah I'm free why?" 

     I gulped nervously and start to type again, this time it was slower and more carefully done. 

Alex:   "Well since were both free I thought that maybe we could have a small sleepover tonight and hang out tomorrow"

I bite my lip nervously as I wait for a response. I knew that he would but it was the actually responce he feared.

Damian: "Yeah sure! 😄 want me to come over at 8?" 

I gulped as he cursed myself. I couldn't just take it back, so I typed my response.

Alex: "Um sure. You bring the games"

Damian: "Cool! I'll see ya there!"

I fell back on my bed and screamed into my pillow, it was the only thing that helped right now.

"Well....its now or never" I said and got up quickly to clean up A bit.
