Chapter 9

Kirishima's POV

Kat's really turned soft around Midoriya.
It's amazing watching how the two interact now. I even catch Kat smiling time to time at the smaller bundle of joy.

Most of Midoriya's wounds are now healed seeing as we've been back to school for almost two weeks now.

We're still keeping the same routine where we pick Midoriya up from his dorm room and walk down to breakfast, then Kat making the three of us food.

Kaminari and Mina kept questioning Kat on why he's making Midoriya food now and they're even making jokes that he has a crush on him.

In all honesty, it's kinda getting annoying. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends, but I wish they would drop the topic about Midoriya. I can tell he's uncomfortable with them constantly pouncing on Katsuki about the whole breakfast thing. Midoriya sometimes even tries to convince Kat to stop saying he doesn't want to upset our friends.

I get where he's coming from and everything, but Midoriya doesn't need to worry about that. They're just messing around and sure it may irritate them, but at the end of the day they are more than capable of cooking for themselves and it's Katsuki's choice on who he cooks for.

Midoriya is now occasionally eating lunch with us, not as much as I wish he would, but he still does a couple times here and there. I think he feels more comfortable with his group of friends rather than ours since he doesn't know them well.

Maybe I could combine the two groups so them everyone is happy. Midoriya still gets to hang with his friends, but then Kat and I can still hang out with Midoriya along with our friends.

The two groups could actually get along really well, in my opinion.

Anyways, training in classes have continued since Midoriya's incident and building up our stamina is our main focus right now.

However, Aizawa keeps pulling Midoriya out of class for a few minutes every day. I think it's to talk to Midoriya about what happened, but I don't think he's told Aizawa about it at all, which quite honestly worries me.

It must be pretty serious if he won't even let pro heroes get involved.

Well, right now we're sitting in our last class of the day, which is English with Present Mic. His loud voice caused our ears to ring slightly from time to time.

I do like the way he teaches though, it keeps us all engaged and it's pretty fun. It's a really different atmosphere compared to Aizawa's lectures.

"Alright! Now don't forget that we have a test in a couple of days, so I hope you've all been studying!" He tells us right as the bell rang.

I began to pack up my stuff as kids in the class left, heading back to the dorms.

I watched Present Mic walk away from his spot in the room to beside Midoriya's desk. I just now happened to notice the small boy asleep on his desk.

Kat and I stood together in the room, watching what was happening, now that the room only had us, Present Mic, and Midoriya.

"Midoriya." Present Mic said in a surprisingly quiet voice.

I'm actually shocked that Midoriya fell asleep in this class. Mic is usually too loud for any of us to doze off properly.

He shook the boy lightly, Midoriya then shot up and screamed before falling onto the floor.

Kat and I ran over to him quickly. "Midoriya, are you ok?" I asked, kneeling beside him.

"U-Uhm, yeah. Sorry, I-I was just startled is all." Midoriya stood quickly, and bowed in front of our teacher. "I'm so sorry for f-falling a-asleep. I didn't mean to and I p-promise it won't happen a-again." Midoriya stuttered out.

Mic gave him a bright smile. "That's alright, but you do need to make sure it doesn't happen again. I can't let you fall behind on your school work. I'll be talking to your home room teacher about this though, but you're not in trouble."

Midoriya sighed. "Thank you sir." He said and packed with things up.

"Deku?" Katsuki questioned.

His gaze flashed up to look at us both as he swung his bag over his shoulder. "Yeah?"

"When was the last time you slept properly?"

Midoriya froze, his eyes shifting to the ground. "J-Just had a rough n-night last night is all." He said, walking out of the room. The two of us hot on his trail.

"That wasn't an answer, Deku." Katsuki grew irritated.

"I'm s-sleeping. It's f-fine." He said.

"Deku-"

"How about we do something tonight after dinner? We should all watch a movie." I cut Katsuki off.

I had an idea. Midoriya obviously isn't sleeping so maybe we can either figure out why or we could somehow get him to fall asleep.

He looks like he truly hasn't slept, so maybe a good movie and maybe so support from us it would help doze him off.

Katsuki threw his irritation at me before nodding his head.

"Sure." Midoriya replied with a smile, happy the subjects been changed.

So, at the end of the evening, that's exactly what we did.

We all are our dinner around six like we do every night. Tonight we had Soba. I bet you could guess who was in charge of dinner tonight.

Then the three of us made it to my room.

Well technically, mine and Kat's since we pretty much are always in here and the majority of his stuff was in here as well.

Midoriya sat cross legged on my bed next to me as Kat picked out a movie. He plopped it in before grabbing a big blanket off my bed and draping it over all three of us.

It was a simple Disney movie seeing as we were trying to get Midoriya to fall asleep.

About half way through, Midoriya looked exhausted, but was trying to stay awake so I tried a new tactic.

I shifted so could put a bunch of pillows behind us so we could still see the tv, but then I pushed Midoriya back on the pillows so he was laying down in between Kat and I. Then we both followed and pulled the blanket up to all of our shoulders.

I carefully got slightly closer to Midoriya, hoping my body heat will help lull him. Kat seemed to catch on to what I was doing and did the same thing. The only thing he did differently was he propped himself up and used his free hand to run it through Midoriya's hair.

This seemed to instantly trigger Midoriya's eyes to flutter shut as he sighed in content.

Only a few minutes had passed before he was out like a light.

I turned the TV off using the remote that sat not far from me. The only sound in the room was Midoriya's soft breathing.

"Finally fell asleep. Nice plan Eiji." Katsuki complimented me.

"Thanks. I figured we might be able to help him fall asleep, but to be honest I didn't expect it to be this easy." I whispered to Kat who continued to run his hands through Midoriya's hair.

Midoriya shifted in his sleep and scooted closer to the person racking through his hair, snuggling into Kat's chest.

I laughed quietly at the alarmed look plastered on Kat's face.

"You're ok with this?" He asked me.

I was a little confused by his question. "What do you mean?"

"It's just. You're my boyfriend and he's snuggling up with me, shouldn't you be jealous?"

Kat did pose an interesting question. Shouldn't I be jealous? I should, but I'm not. I find it absolutely adorable. Midoriya himself is just very adorable, everything he does is just cute and it makes me smile.

It makes me even happier when both of them are close to one another, but I'm not at all jealous.

"I'm not. Weirdly enough. I don't know. I feel like if it was someone other than Midoriya then I'd be pissed, but it's not. With Midoriya I'm fine with it."

"Do you like him?" Kat's question threw me off guard and I grew quiet for a moment.

"I don't know, maybe? I'm so confused. He's so cute and hug-able, not to mention he's super sweet and caring and full of light, but Katsuki, I love you. I love you with all my heart and that's why I'm so confused, because you'd think I would only have feelings for you, but I think I also kinda like Midoriya." I told him.

I've always learned that in order to keep a relationship happy and healthy you always needed to be honest with the other person and that's exactly what I'm doing.

I just hope Kat doesn't get pissed off about this.
