"Hi, Mina."

"Hello Darling, sorry I thought you were someone else."

"It's okay. I wanted to ask if you could join us for a mission?"

"Where and who?"

"Sokovia and Baron Strucker."

"Yeah sure...picking me up?"

"Why do you sound like that? Yeah, we will pick you up in an hour at your apartment."

Irmina sighed as she stretched, hearing the call ending as she packed up her desk and called for Marlene. She quickly gave a run down before placing Otto in command and took her gear with her as she left the base.

"Can I join you for a shower?"

"Always, Angel."

Natasha scrunched up her face after hearing the name, one she hadn't heard for a long time. Irmina just laughed in response as she watched her girlfriend get rid of her suit.

Soft kisses on Irmina's back, the soft moaning from her lips. Natasha's forehead pressed in between her shoulder blades.

"You're strangely tensed."

"I am wondering when it's my time."

"Time for what?"

"When they come for their property."

"We won't let that happen."

"The last time someone said that she ended up dead."

"It won't come to that."

"Clint's in the car?" Irmina shuts off the water and quickly walks out of the shower. She picked up Natasha's suit from the floor and took it to their bed before returning with a towel. Natasha sighed deeply, thinking about how Aki probably promised the same thing.

She knows that Irmina is completely terrified of losing her people. The older woman doesn't show it often but Natasha just knew. The way she spoke, the subtle touch to keep her close or even how she always kept her in her sights.

"Enhanced?" King whispered to herself, seeing a figure flash past her. An indication that HYDRA had been experimenting again.

"King, what did you say?!" Steve shouted through their comms and she cringed at his voice.

"Enhanced on the field and can someone readjust my comms, Steve is too loud for me."

"Jarvis, you got it?" She heard Tony say. Jarvis talked to her personally to find her comfort before she thanked the AI like it was another person.

"Steve, you don't need to shout all the time."

Natasha turned to her with a smirk.

"I think he is still pissed that I took your side on that rescue mission."

"We had different missions but we know he doesn't understand."

"But you do."

"I was trained as an assassin and spy before a soldier."

"You two got chemistry in fighting, you know."

"Oh shut up."

Natasha let out a chuckle, getting out of the way when they were surrounded. She was fixing her hair and suit as Irmina just dropped bodies as if they were nothing but buzzes in their ears. The younger woman watched her girlfriend with her beautiful sword forms like she was dancing.

"I remember you kissed him."

"And you look like a deer in headlights but the way you clenched your jaws—kinda hot."

"Kiss me."

"What?"

"Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable."

"Yes, they do."

"You still uncomfortable?"

'I am going to kill her,' Irmina thought, seeing the 'lovey-dovey couple' and that shit-eating smirk.

"It's not exactly the word I would use."

She pulled Natasha close and whispered—a good distance away from Steve, "You will be fucked until you can't properly think."

"Looking forward to that," Natasha smirked.

"Jealous huh?"

"No."

"Lovebirds, can the taller one infiltrate the base?" Tony asked and Natasha scoffed in response. Irmina laughed and headed for the base.

"I got the back."

"Thanks, Tall One."

"I swear to god, Tony!" Natasha voiced, annoyed that Tony kept making fun of her height. He is slightly taller and that's about it.

Irmina turned off her comms—she could hear them but they couldn't with her which is good because it would be weird for to her talk to herself or multiple Germans just talking to her. It would make her seem like one of HYDRA. Kaiser walked out from the shadows with Wolff. They gave her every single piece of information that could easily be found.

And they were expecting her, waiting for her to step in and be ambushed.

"You seem tensed," Aki voiced, walking through the wall and eyed Irmina up and down. "You are perfectly capable of taking all of them down.

"What if they say the words? I can't break free from that."

"I will be the one slitting their throats."

Irmina laughed and shook her head, "Of course you would."

"You're jumpy," Natasha said, her hand dragged across Irmina's back before landing herself on her shoulder. "I got you."

"I know."

"Did you know Dr. Helen Cho asked if you were going to the party? Along with Thor of course."

"I am charming."

"Sure."

"I have the Great Black Widow to myself when no one else can touch you."

Natasha smirked at her, slowly kissing her shoulders and Irmina turned around to face. Her finger tucked under her chin and tilted her head up to look at those beautiful green eyes, leaning down to kiss her.

"Knock knock! I am coming in! Better have clothes on!" Tony voiced, opening the door Natasha rolled her eyes in response and Irmina shook her head as she laughed. "Party, come on!"

Natasha watched from afar as she interacted with Thor. She decided to be away from everyone and make the drinks. She could see Dr. Cho clinging to the tall duo and it made her quite annoyed—jealous.

"More drinks?" Irmina asked, already walking away from the group. She watched Natasha walking towards her, with a martini and an old-fashioned. She cocked her eyebrow and smirked at her girlfriend. "Is any of that mine or someone else's? Bruce seemed to be quite flustered."

"Steve might have put the idea that I was flirting with him," Natasha chuckled, seeing the frown quickly appear as she clenched her jaws—trying to fight that old man. "Calm down, my big softie."

Irmina rolled her eyes, taking the Old-fashioned from her hand. Natasha just left her to find Maria with no invitation to join. Tony dragged her to join him and Thor instead. They were talking about their partners.

"Well, my girlfriend is Natasha. So, don't look at me," Irmina had said enough with just 'Natasha'. Thor dragged her again to drink with Steve and offered her the strong Asgardian stuff with no hesitation. He had seen what she could do, there was no need to underestimate the woman she was. Thor admired Irmina like he admired the Valkyries.

"Oh this is good, do you have more?" Irmina asked, Thor smiled and asked for her glass, pouring her more of it.

"I will send you some."

"Thank you, I can get drunk with this."

Irmina has just been dragged around by different Avengers. From Tony to Thor to Sam and even Maria dragged her around too—like when they were still at SHIELD.

"Now, don't pull your muscles," Irmina teased while Clint tried to pull the Hammer. Her phone started ringing and she panicked, more than tipsy now. "Give me a minute."

A peck on Natasha's cheek as she walked away.

They each tried to lift the hammer, Irmina just had to miss the whole thing because the General wanted to know a few things. She heard metal creaking and a robotic voice but didn't react until she heard gunshots.

A katana went flying and easily pierced through one of the robots like it was butter. Everyone in the room turned to see Irmina just entering the fight, ripping another one of it. She passed Steve's shield back to him and he tossed her katana back.

"Stop staring! Robots!"

"Behind!" Steve shouted while Irmina didn't sense anything until she stabbed with her blade. She managed to catch herself with the sofa while Thor swooped in and ripped it apart in seconds. Natasha ran to her, and carefully pulled the blade out.

"We're fighting robots now?"

"So, you okay?"

"I'm okay."

"You, a danger to everyone," Ultron said last, pointing to Irmina and receiving a look of disgust and confusion. "You shouldn't be possible."

"The fuck I do."

"Language," Tony whacked her shoulder and she laughed with him, while Steve rolled his eyes. "He knew every single thing about us."

"Not me," Irmina picked up her blades and placed them carefully on the sofa. "Any information about me is on paper and it's either burned or with me."

"What?"

"HYDRA likes to keep secrets and so do I."

"Like what secrets."

"Secrets that don't concern anyone."

"Not even Natasha?"

"Nat knows."

"So Girlfriend knows but I don't," Tony scoffed.

"You talk too damn much."

They started to pick things up and clear some things before Tony's bots came in to clean. Irmina took her blades and wondered if the machine oil would corrode them.

"Vibranium won't corrode," Tony informed and Irmina sighed in relief as she cleaned her blades. Natasha checked on where she was stabbed, just fidgeting with the torn shirt to give herself a sense of relief while Irmina couldn't care less. It will have to take more than a stab to kill her.

"Try and see if you will still have your hands," Irmina said, back facing Wanda before slowly turning to the witch and a glare that should have killed her right there and then before her twin ran to her side.

"What if I want to just open your mind?"

"HYDRA has done enough. I know my fear, do you know yours?"

Her katana was right at Wanda's throat and the other was right at Pietro's Achilles.

"Do you only have the super speed or does the fast regeneration come in?"

Irmina looked irritated as she glared at the twins. Maybe she should have just killed them now. The only thing that stops her from doing that is Clint shouting that Natasha is not responding. She swapped positions with Aki who was looking over Natasha. The twins looked confused when she just disappeared from their sight as a woman had her bow drawn at them before disappearing a few seconds later.

Tony kept and shouted at Irmina for help with the Hulk. Clint nodded at her, allowing her to leave his best friend to him. He took her arm and flew them to the location, there was no hesitation or fear when he let her go at 200 metres off the ground.

"Buddy, calm down!" Irmina shouted, holding Hulk in a headlock before he grabbed onto her and threw her into a building. King groaned as she picked herself up before she caught a car barrelling to a group of citizens. She hears a pop in her shoulder. "Fuck!"

Tony turned to her got a second after hearing her scream and he was taking heavy punches. Despair was all she felt as she held her shoulder, worrying about the crying child clinging to her side.

"Hey," Irmina said [in the African dialect] as her mask collapsed and got on her knee for the girl. Her shoulder sagged forward but she distracted her before popping it back in. Her smile calmed the child down quite instantly before she jumped into her arms after hearing the Hulk's roar. "You stay with your mum, okay? I'll deal with this first."

The girl nodded, hugging her mother in fear that she would lose her. Irmina will have to rely on her pure strength and close combat without her swords. She didn't want to kill Banner but if more progress she might.

"My dear Hulk, stay down please!" Irmina punched his knee in Tony trying his best not to hit her with his rockets and pulses. She was flung away again and is getting pissed off. "Fuck, Tony! Civilians!"

"I. Am. Trying!" He shouted, taking the Hulk to the skies before letting out a remark. Irmina cleared out the civilians and pulled them out of the rubble. The African military and the police force took her orders as they prioritised the civilians.

King always had a better reputation among the people and the governments.

If anyone had to choose an Avenger, it would be King.
