"Li-la?"
A weak voice broke Lila from her slumber and she sat up quickly. She was disoriented for just a moment before she remembered where she was.
Her father was smiling at her weakly from his bed.
Lila hurried over to him and pulled a chair to the side of his bed. "Hi Dad."
"You... Didn't have to come..." He sighed, lifting his hand a few inches off the bed.
"Yes I did." She took it in one of hers while reaching up to hold the side of his face gently. "I'm sorry it's been so long since I visited."
Her father's soft hazel eyes twinkled as he studied her. "You look so beautiful. How have you been?"
Lila felt herself blush a little under his gaze. "I've been really good, actually. I've been getting bigger interview and articles at work."
"I know you have." He smiled at her and lifted his other hand to motion to the end table on that side of the bed.
Sitting there was a copy of every single magazine she had had an article or interview published in.
"Dad..."
"My favorite one is the interview you did with the two young men. I could feel your passion in that one." He paused and turned his head to the side to cough.
"I could feel it too." Hongjoong's voice came from the doorway.
"Hey Doc." Lila's dad said, turning to give the redhead a bright smile. "How's it going?"
"I'm doing good, Remi. How are you feeling today."
"Much better now that my gorgeous girl is here. Look at her, isn't she just glowing right now?" He turned back to look at Lila and squeezed her hand.
"Dad..." Lila said with a slight whine while nervously tucking her hair behind her ear.
The doctor just chuckled as he pulled out her dad's charts. "That she is." He winked in her direction. "Well things are stable for now. I'm going to do my rounds and I'll come back, ok?"
Lila's father nodded at him before turning back to his daughter.
"What did he mean by he could feel it to?" Lila asked, scooting her chair a little closer.
A sad look crossed the man's face before he replaced it with a proud smile. "Hongjoong is a very kind man. With... With the brain damage, I lost my ability to read. So he came in and read your articles to me."
Her heart shattered at his words and she found herself bending forward to kiss her father's hand. She didn't have any words to describe the guilt that was building up inside of her for not coming back and visiting more often.
The fact that her father had been following her career meant so much to her...
"It's ok baby." He whispered, squeezing her hand as hard as he could. "You're here now, and that's all I could ask for."
Lila looked at him and tried to hold back the sob that threatened to escape her throat.
"Tell me, how is life in L.A.? Have you found a fella yet?" He asked before turning to cough again. When it was over, he groaned and placed his other hand on his chest and took a few deep breaths before turning back to her with a smile.
Lila was filled with the overwhelming need to tell her father everything now. Somehow she knew she could trust him, so she nodded. "I have Dad. And he's... he's amazing."
"He must be by the way you're smiling after saying that. I hope he brings a smile like that to your face every time you think of him. Why didn't he come with you? I would have liked to meet him."
"That's the thing," Lila stood and walked over to the magazines. She pulled out the one with her interview of Wooyoung and Yeosang in it and held it to her chest as she returned to her seat. "You kind of already have."
Slowly, she flipped to the page with her favorite picture of Wooyoung from the first movie. His blonde hair was swept back slightly and he had one arm extended out in front of him while the other one was angled at the floor. The way he held his hands created sharp lines and his fingers just added to it. His face was set in concentration, but even before they had started dating, Lila could see the spark in his eyes that revealed his real passion for dancing as he look to the left of the camera.
Lila handed it to her father and waited for it to sink it.
She could see that it took him a moment to process what she was trying to say by the way his forehead furrowed slightly, so while grabbing her necklace, she pointed at the picture. "That's him. That's my Wooyoung."
The man turned to look at her and a smile broke across his face. "He is one lucky man. Tell me everything."

.
.
Wooyoung awoke to a pounding headache that made him not want to open his eyes and stay in bed for hours.
He didn't even remember getting home last night. Had he really drunk that much?
His throat was dry and he had to basically pry his on mouth open to lick his lips as he rolled over and shoved his head under the pillow.
The events of the previous evening ran through his head as he tried to piece it all together. The photos, the movie, the dinner... that all came back just fine. He ran over what he ate over and over, remembering he had felt off after dinner. There had been some chicken in there, so maybe he had just won the lottery and eaten a raw piece.
That would explain why his stomach hurt a little bit too.
Wooyoung shifted one more time and realized something was off.
The sheets he was tangled up in were silk.
He didn't own silk sheets...
Panic started to set in as his eyes flew open and he sat up quickly.
His head spun a round as he tried to figure out where he was. He didn't recognize this room. And he couldn't remember coming here.
Then he realized another, horrible thing.
He wasn't wearing any clothes.
Wooyoung looked down and noticed red and purple marks all over his chest and stomach and a sob tore through him as he covered his mouth.
The room spun as he tried to process everything. His hands shook as he pulled the sheet around him and bent over.
What had happened to him?
He looked around again and didn't see anyone else in the room, so he slipped out of bed and started to look for his clothes.
They were scattered everywhere around the room.
Had he done something willingly? If he did, why couldn't he remember it?
His heart pounded in his ears as he gathered his things. It only made his headache worse, and he could feel his breathing becoming ragged as a panic attack threatened to take over.
It was painful for him to get dressed, everything hurt...
He couldn't stop the tears from flowing down his cheeks as he spun in circles.
At one point, he thought about how he hoped this was some sick joke that San and Yeosang were playing on him to try and make himself feel better, but deep down, Wooyoung knew that wasn't true.
Once he was dressed in everything but his jacket, which he slung over his shoulder for now, Wooyoung patted all of his pockets looking for his phones.
They were tucked inside a hidden pocket San had sewn into the jacket. One good thing came out of this at least.
He had several missed calls from San and Yeosang, along with several texts from them and a few from Lila.
Wooyoung's first instinct was to call Lila. But he didn't even know what he would say to her right now...
So he went to dial Yeosang but froze when the door handle turned and the door swung open.
He fell to his knees.
"Good morning Wooyoungie." Rachel said with a bright smile while holding a tray of food. "How are you feeling?" She only had on a skimpy silk robe and what looked like some lingerie underneath.
"No..." Wooyoung covered his mouth and started to shake his head.
"What's the matter?" She asked, setting down the tray and running to kneel in front of him. "Did something happen?" Rachel reached for him, but Wooyoung screamed and pushed her away.
"Please tell me this didn't happen!" His heart pounded as the pieces all started to come together.
Rachel's eyes grew a little darker as she stood. "Why are you acting like this? You're the one who came on to me last night mister 'Oh I had some much fun with you. You're who I want to be with. I finally came to my senses'."
"B-B-Bullshit! I w-would nev-ver..."
"You're here, aren't you?" She cocked and eyebrow and started to peel a banana. "It's not my fault you were so drunk you can't think straight. I don't know abut you, but I had and amazing time last night." Rachel smirked at him as he put more of the banana in her mouth than was necessary and took a bite out of it.
Wooyoung felt like he was going to be sick. He stood on shaky legs and looked around the room again.
There was no way he would agree to do this... Even while drunk. There had to be another story.
"Come eat with me." Rachel purred. There was a bowl of whipped cream that she dipped her finger in to and held it up to Wooyoung.
He immediately batted her hand away, shaking his head. "D-Don't touch me!"
Her eyes narrowed in a glare. "You're supposed to be with me! Did filming the first movie mean nothing to you? I thought we had something special! Or did that bitch bewitch you?" Rachel spat, advancing toward Wooyoung until he was backed against a wall. "I know who she is. Did she agree to fuck you in exchange for that interview? She's just some worthless reporter. She doesn't deserve you. Why would you wanted to be with someone pathetic like her when you can have someone famous and gorgeous like me?" She fisted his shirt and tried to kiss him, but Wooyoung pushed her face away.
"Get off me! You don't know anything about her! Lila is three times the woman you will EVER be! If anything, I'm the one who doesn't deserve her! NEVER speak to me again, you're psychotic Rachel." Wooyoung made sure to push her out of the way one more time before he fled from the room.
He unlocked his phone again and called Yeosang as he looked around the hall, figuring he must be in some kind of hotel.
Deciding the stairs would be faster, he ran to the end of the hall and hurried down them as the phone rang.
He had to call three more times before he got a groggy, "Hello?"
"S-Sangie?" Wooyoung said, the gravity of what was going on coming back to him suddenly.
"What's wrong? I've been trying to get ahold of you all night."
"P-Please come g-get me... S-Sangie..." Wooyoung had to stop as the tears came in full force now. He fell into the corner of the stairwell and brought his legs up to his chest.
"Woo, I need you to take a deep breath. Where are you?" Yeosang said, keeping his voice stern.
"I d-d-don't know." The younger wailed, cringing as it echoed in the stairway.
"I need you to find out for me. Either pull up the gps on your phone or go outside for me. San and I are getting in the car now."
Wooyoung whimpered as he nodded and pulled his phone away from his ear. With a shaking finger, he pulled open the maps app on his phone and took a screen shot of his location to send to Yeosang.
"Ok, I've got it. Stay on the phone with me, we are on our way." Yeosang spoke quickly and Wooyoung could hear the engine revving as they sped up. "What happened? Can you tell me that?"
"R... R..."
"Rachel?!" Yeosang said, his voice getting a little higher.
San could be heard swearing colorfully in the background. Someone driving another car pressed their cars horn and San shouted at them.
"Just hold on, Woo. We are almost there."
Wooyoung just nodded and whimpered again as he shook in the corner. He couldn't believe this happened...
The worst thought that came to him though, was his fear about what Lila would think of him now... He didn't think he'd be able to tell her... Especially not with what was going on with her father.
He fisted his hair as the tears continued to flow freely and his aching body shook against the wall.
