The Ultimate Tragedy; Act 2
Since Azrei lost her connection with Thane, she, the other champions, and their gods, minus Judor have been on edge.
Sky: Do you think he failed?
He asked his fellow champions whilst they all sat around a table.
Lilly: No. At Best, he got lost... At worst, Cardsha had something up his sleeve.
Clover: If there's another incident, I don't know if the world can survive it...
Clover: The damage done from the last battle had reaped havoc upon the economy, population, tides, and more.
Sky: Well at least racism isn't a problem with the forgotten races...
Clover: Give it time...
Henrietta: The damage done can be undone by the gods.
Clover: Perhaps... But they have been more concerned with executing Cardsha.
Lilly: We're getting off-topic now... Thane has been sent to kill him. And it's been a bit too long since he has left.
Lilly: It might be time we go looking for-
She cuts herself up as she spots a familiar entity.
J.J
J.J dashes away, the other Champions giving chase all across the castle. The Champion of Law leads the others out of the building, where the doors shut and locked behind them.
Henrietta: HAH!
Wasting no time, the Champion of Space digs her axe into J.J.'s shoulder and chops off her sword-wielding arm.
Then, with a quick swing, shattered J.J.'s helmet to reveal an undead body.
Inside the castle, Judor, with the void-stained blade of chaos, entered the throne room, catching the other gods' gaze.
Azrei: Judor? Why... Why do you have that blade...?
Judor: Heh...
He no longer hid his chaotic side. The threads of chaos intertwined with him. Azrei and the others immediately sensed this change.
Judor: Let me tell you all a little FUN FACT!
Judor: It seems... When one of us dies... That the power, the FORCE, that we are, doesn't just fade away.
Judor: It can be inherited... And when we threw Cardsha into the void... I unknowingly accepted his responsibility.
Judor: Ever since then, hehe... I realized something... I don't have to follow the rules. I AM the rules. You have to follow ME.
Azrei: Where's Thane-
Judor: Forget about a worthless mortal. All of you, forget about them because you know what?
Judor: They shouldn't be important. But they are... Because when the last one of them dies... So does Law... So do I.
Judor: And why is that? Why does Law and Order have to die? Why do you all... Have to die?
Judor: Because we all know what happens when I go, right?
Giara: You acted as Cardsha, and caused chaos, why?
Judor: Simple. To get Azrei to break her rule. To make us all, truly immortal.
Judor: But she didn't want to join me, so I went with plan B...
Judor: Using the seeds I planted, I convinced you all to send Azrei's champion to execute "me" with the blade.
Judor: With his void-stained eyes, I was able to awaken the void essence within this blade that I had soaked within the Void itself.
Azrei:!
Judor: It should be able to kill Death herself.
Azrei stood up, prepared to defend herself.
Azrei: So you're going to finally stoop to that level...
Judor: You've left us little choice.
Azrei: Us?
He glances at the other gods.
Judor: Well... Look around you. Do you think with the fact that you can be killed, anyone here wants you to live-
Jorey leaps in front of Azrei, with her arms wide out ready to defend her sister.
Jorey: You do not speak for us, Judor!
Judor:(sigh)
Judor: You of all of us should want her gone!
Jorey: The only ones who deserve to die, are those who take lives. And unlike you, I do not fear my sister.
Giara: I think you should put that blade down.
Cronas: You've made enough of a mess...
Journoy: They're right.
Sciron: You're a walking paradox. Order and Choas. Two opposites, pulling and tugging at one another.
Sciron: Let us help you.
Judor:....
He rolls his eyes and begins twirling the blade of chaos.
Judor: I see... You don't believe this blade works. How about a test then...?
He begins pointing the blade at each one of the other Gods.
Judor: Let's see... Who'll cause the least amount of damage... Cornas? No... Sciron... Maybe... Journoy?
Judor: Hmmm... I'm thinking of either Giara or Jorey. The other can fill the dead's role.
Judor: Heh. Especially true for Jorey, seeing as she has a daughter.
The other gods are caught off guard by this fact.
Judor: That's right... A half god. Perhaps it is time she took your place...
Judor approached Jorey, ready to prove that the blade worked as intended, the others got in Judor's way as he waltzed up to the sisters, but his powers of law and chaos allowed him to startle with strength they were not prepared for.
Lifting the blade, he prepared to swing it down on Jorey. Azrei hugged her sister from behind and pulled her back, allowing the blade to only graze her sister's belly.
Either way, Judor revealed that the blade was powerful enough to damage one of them, unlike anything they knew.
Jorey: Agh!?
She felt that that attack caused several things to die, since she was life itself, and any attack on her was on all living things.
Judor lifted the blade, prepared to stab the sisters of Life and Death. The other gods attempted to stop him, but Judor quickly kept them away by slashing and making them feel the same pain as Jorey.
Judor: Stand back! Or I'll slaughter you all!
He put the fear of death into all of them, except for Azrei who returned the favor to her sister and stood in front of her.
Jorey: Sister...
Azrei: Enough. Do you wish for eternity? Do you truly want to grasp infinity and never die or be defied?
Azrei: Then strike me down...
Judor: That's the plan.
He raises the blade of chaos to kill Death.
Azrei: If you can...
Judor: Huh?
The flow of time is disturbed, it begins to crawl to a halt, in a way only Cronas's god weapon would allow.
A portal then opens, much like the ones created by Journoy's champion weapon.
From that portal, came flying an enraged man, dead set to be the first to slay a god.
Thane: JUDOR!!!!
