The Twin goddesses were talking behind closed doors, leaving their champions waiting behind said doors.

Thane:(plays with Scythe)

Thane: So, was the healing thing your blessing or god blood?

Lilly: How did you stop my spear from phasing?

Thane: I possessed it. Now you.

Lilly:....

Lilly: A little of both.

Thane: Huh...

Thane: So who banged your mom?

Lilly: Phrase it like that again and I'll gut you!

Thane: You're so touchy.

Scythe of Death: GJDSRYUJSAA!

Thane: I wonder what else you can do... Maybe magic?

He slams the scythe against the floor to try and turn Lilly into a bear, but instead, the pole of the weapon splits in half and goes down the blade and spreading several strings.

It was now a harp.

Thane: Oh man, do I have to learn to play this? Along with how to use a farming tool as a weapon?

Thane: Oh well...

He goes to try and pluck one of the strings, but the two goddesses interrupt by entering the corridor.

Azrei: We've talked things out.

Jorey: No more need for fighting. Just kiss and make up, so we may all continue you with our semi-family partnership.

Thane: Why Semi?

Jorey: Because of you.

Thane:....

Thane: Fair enough.

Thane:(turns to Lilly) I'm sorry.

Lilly:....

Lilly:(rolls eyes) I'm sorry.

Jorey: The kiss?

Thane: Oh, you literally meant "kiss and make up"?

Azrei: I don't think they have to kiss-

Jorey: Prove you're sorry! Kiss!

Thane: On the lips?

Lilly: On my ass.

Jorey: Lilly...

Lilly:(sigh)

She kissed Thane on the cheek with great dismay. Thane repeated the gesture.

Jorey: Dawww~

Thane: Your mom is weird.

Lilly: Don't I know it...

(Opening Theme)

Thane was in the basement with Medina. The Champion of Death was there to practice more with his new god weapon.

His goddess, Azrei told him three things about the weapon.

It can bend and stretch.

It can consume the souls of whoever Thane deems has disrespected Azrei's will.

And the harp should be a last resort.

Everything else, she left Thane to figure out.

(Wooooosh)

(Woosh)

Medina: It's a staff-like weapon. Not a sword.

Thane: Can you show me how to use it?

Medina: I have paws.

Thane: Didn't think so.

(Woooshh)

Medina: Try using it like a farming tool. Sweep with it.

Thane: Hmm... Not a bad idea.

(Creeaaak)

Azrei: Thane, your presence is requested in the throne room.

Thane: Huh?

A door appeared behind Thane on the floor as Azrei summoned her champion of death, who curiously stared at the new entrance.

Medina: What are you waiting for?

Thane: Oh, right.

Hopping through the door, Thane dropped from the ceiling of the Throne room, landing next to four of his fellow Champions who had taken a knee as they bowed to the gods.

Thane:(looks around)

....

....

Thane: Oh.

Bowing, the gods begin to speak.

Judor: Two of your fellow champions have gone missing.

Lilly: How?

Sciron: My Champion went out to excavate more giant fossils. With the Champion of Space.

Sciron: Then suddenly, neither I nor Journoy could sense them. Nor make any form of contact.

Sciron: You five are to investigate the dig sight. Learn of the condition of your fellow champions...

Sciron: Along with why we were unable to connect with them. And if possible bring it back.

Jorey: Or destroy it if necessary.

Sky: Is it truly wise to send all of us at once?

Thane: I'll go alone if you want.

Azrei: Anything that can stop us gods from reaching you, is not to be taken lightly.

Judor:(tosses map) Now go. If we lose contact with you five as well, we shall give you a week until we presume you all have perished.

The five champions are sent off. Thane followed them to a carriage. This was something only used whenever every champion needed to work together. The five set off to the dig sight, J.J the champion of Law was the one that directed the steeds.

Sky: How long do you think it's been since this thing was used?

Thane: A year?

Lilly: Try adding a few hundred to that estimate.

Scott: Four hundred and twenty years ago to be precise. The champions back then were sent out in this to exterminate the dragon infestation at the time.

Thane: Huh? Why hasn't it been used since?

Scott: This is only for when every Champion needs to work together.

Thane; Why not get everyone one horse?

Lilly: It's the same reason the Gods have a throne room. Just because they can.

Thane: Such a boring answer.

Sky: What do you think we'll find?

Scott: Something unexpected.

Thane: Giant skeleton army.

Lilly:(rolls eyes)

Upon arrival, the five Champions found the dig sight to be a massive hole in the ground, so deep, that they couldn't see the bottom.

Thane: How did they dig this deep of a hole in... What? A few weeks?

Lilly: They probably dug into an already-existing hole.

Sky: From what I can see from here... That theory holds merit.

Sky: See how the walls of the hole become a lot smoother about twenty meters down?

Scott: That's worrisome... What could have made such a hole?

Thane: A god?

Lilly: They would have known and told us about it, then.

Thane:(shrugs) In that case...

Thane: What's the point in standing here?

Approaching the hole, Thane dives into it.

Thane: See you down below!

He quickly found himself surrounded by darkness. And for the next 30 minutes, Thane fell but after the long wait, he did see a light at the bottom.

With his new godly weapon, Thane came to a stop. He planned on using the blade of the Scythe to grind to a halt, but the weapon instead stretched to slow his fall after puncturing the wall.

Thane:.... If it works, it works.

Vacating the hole, Thane discovered the hidden city under the earth.

(The City of the Rejected: O-bliss)

Some buildings floated. Buildings made from giant pillars of the massive cavern, and then there was everything else on the ground.

Thane: Whoa...

The scythe continued to stretch, lowering Thane down to the streets below where he encountered several shocked citizens, comprised of similar-looking beings to humans, but had clear differences.

There were these short people who were adults as seen from their muscle definition and beards. Thane noticed their bodily proportions were akin to the giant skeleton he fought.

Another race was taller than him, with pointy ears, sharp noses, skinny bodies, and very pale skin. Some had green or purple-tinted flesh.

And the final eye-catching race he saw, possessed animal features. Some were more beast-like while others had simple characteristics.

Thane: Whoaaaaa...

He picked up one of the short people who was clearly confused.

Thane: What are you? A mini-human?

Dwarf: I'm a dwarf, nim-rod!

Before he could punch Thane, the Champion of Death dropped him and went to pull on the tall races' pointy ears.

Thane: And you?

Elf: A-An Elf...

The female Elf was scared but became relieved once Thane moved on to the animal people.

Fauna: Fauna! I'm a Fauna! So don't hurt me!

Thane: Fauna... Dwarf... Elf...

Thane: You all look like humans, but a little different...

Dwarf: Who the bloody hell are you!?

Thane: My name is Thane. I'm the Champion of-

J.J., the champion of Law landed beside Thane with a violent crash.

(CRASH)

A cloud of dust covered the street. Thane then felt J.J. dragging him away.

A few blocks away, Lilly, Sky, and Scott dropped from the hole, landing atop the city's buildings on the ground level.

Lilly: What is this.....?

Sky; A city below the earth. With what looks to be a strange human-like species inhabiting it.

Scott:....

Scott: I do believe we've lost our connection to our deities down here.

Both Lilly and Sky attempt to contact their gods.

Lilly: Tch... This is as annoying as Newborn imp...

Sky: But how? Are we too deep underground?

Scott: Let's worry about that later. It seems we've gained the attention of some militaristic force.

Lilly: They have militaries? Next, you're going to say that there's a whole underground war going on beneath our feet?

A group of ten armored guards arrived with three individuals who stood out from the rest with their powerful auras.

One was a Fauna, with dark skin, gold markings, a tail, and two feline feet with spiked metal sandals.

Another was a black and purple elf with a violin.

(Sad Song Evin)

Standing in between them, was a dwarf in heavy armor, with a half-hammer half-axe weapon.

(True Doom Dok)

Dok: We three are guardians of this city! Put your weapons down against outsiders or else!

Lilly: They speak the same language. That should save us some time...

She took the liberty of answering the guardians.

Lilly: We three are champions of the Gods!

Lilly: We believe two of our fellow champions are down here as well.

Lilly: Helps us reunite, and there will be no trouble.

Tora: We will give you one last chance to surrender and come quietly!

Lilly:....

Lilly:(sigh)...

Sky: Please, understand, we mean you no harm. I'm certain if we work together-

Dok: You have until the count of five!

Lilly: It hasn't been 10 minutes and we're already going to have to spill blood.

Scott: I'm scouting ahead. No use in wasting my time with them.

The child champion wanders away.

Tora: Hmph.

On the streets, the Fauna guardian pursues Scott, much to Lilly's amusement and Sky's sorrow.

Sky: Oh... That poor girl.

Lilly:(chuckles)

Dok: Five...

Finishing his countdown, he and Evin leap onto the roof to disarm the champions.
