Tatsumi is given the villages treasure, a legendary blade that can extend and coil, slicing enemies to pieces. It’s a teigu with a secret powers, allowing Tatsumi to do many things,

The teigu is a judgment of multiple snake type monsters, giving his different powers

Lamia/ ability to breath out poisonous gas, but also absorb poisons through fangs, and and turn into a half snake half human creature (think madusa with lower half of snake, but with cobras dragon slayer hands from fairy tail)

Gorgon/ ability to turn people to stone though she contact, and charm people to look at the eye of the user

White snake/ ability to manipulate water, create illusions hypnotize or mind control through song, and finally ability to see into the future

Yamato no orochi/ ability to create snakes made of pure energy, summon regular snakes from hands or mouth, and finally open a portal to hell and people get dragged there by snakes

Hydra/ hyper regeneration and healing others

Saves his friend Ieyasu, but not his female friend
