*House*
*Imagine Sophie in this image as well*
"She's even worse than the fat one" Grandpa George grumble in disbelief, couldn't believe that there is someone more awful than the boy.
"I don't think that was fair. She didn't find the ticket herself" Charlie commented.
"Don't worry about it, Charlie"
"The man spoils his daughter, and no good ever comes from spoiling a child like that. You mark my words" Grandpa Joe tells the boy.
Door Open
Everyone turn their heads as Helen and Noah rushed into the house.
Door Close
"Charlie..." she began to say as the two adults approach the group piled on the bed.
"...your mom and I thought maybe you'd want to open your birthday present, tonight" said Noah.
Causing his son to smile, "Here you go" said Helen as she handed her son something.
A package wrapped in old Sunday comics as Charlie pause for a moment, although it's obviously the right shape.
Before he went and tears back the paper, just to be sure...wanted to know if he was right or not.
Then...
...the boy smiled as in his hands was a...A Wonka Bar!
Charlie immediately had second thoughts, "Maybe I should wait till morning" he said.
"Like hell!" Grandpa George cursed, couldn't believe that his grandson was backing out now.
Causing his son to instantly turn to his father, "Pop!" he exclaimed.
"All together we're 381 years old. We don't wait" Grandpa Joe told his grandfather, that there wasn't time to just wait around.
Charlie smiles nervously as the boy sits down on the edge of the bed.
The boy held the present, his only present, very fanciful in two hands.
..... ...... ......
Everybody waits for Charlie to start opening his present, wanting to see what's inside of the chocolate bar.
He looks down at the candy bar in his hands, running his fingers slowly back and forth along the length of it, stroking iy lovingly.
The shiny paper wrapper makes little sharp crackly..crackly noises in this quiet house.
"Charlie..."
"...you mustn't be too disappointed. If you don't get one..." Helen tells her son, that it's a 50% chance right now for golden ticket or not.
"Whatever happens, you'll still have the candy" Noah stated with a small smile, reminding the boy that he would have a lovely treat in the end.
Whatever happens, gurgling..choking
Making everyone else turn their heads to Grandpa Joe, worried and concern.
"Grandpa Joe, are you alright?" Sophie ask the man.
"No, you're killing me! Open it!" Grandpa Joe exclaimed, couldn't wait anymore and want his grandson to unwrap it NOW!
So very slowly, Charlie's fingers went and tear open one small corner of the wrapping paper.
Everyone all lean forward as the boy continue on, to unwrap this wrapping paper.
Then suddenly...
...Charlie has tear the wrapper right down the middle.
Onto his lap falls...a light-brown creamy-coloured chocolate candy bar.
AND NOTHING ELSE!!!!
...... ...... .....
"Ah well, that's that" Grandpa Joe replied with a sigh, taking everyone out of the sad silence in the room.
The boy looks up from the chocolate bar, seeing everyone were just staring at him.
Charlie smiles at them, a small sad smile, and then he shrugs his shoulders.
"We'll share it" said Charlie, but that cause Grandpa Joe to quickly protested.
"Oh, no Charlie. Not your birthday present" he tell him, not wanting to take away this boy chocolate.
"It's my candy bar, and I'll do what I want with it" Charlie stated, that it's his decision to make not everyone else.
So the boy snaps the bar into several pieces, making everyone share a look.
Sharing it out to every one of the family members, "Thank you"
