It was the time of the night, the moon was shining in the sky and the Khanna mansion was shining on the earth. The moon peeked into a room where the lights were off, only one dim light was lighted. Avni came to the bed and kept her phone on the side table.

Avni heard the sound and she turned her face. Avni frowned and she stood properly. Avni saw a shadow at the door of the balcony. Avni windened her eyes and she moved to it. Avni came to the table and she saw a vase on it. Avni took out the flowers and took the vase.

Slowly, Avni was proceeding to the door. Avni was ready to hit the person.The door opened and Avni was about to hit the person. It was Neil. Neil flinched and he tried to save him by keeping his hands in front of his head. Avni widened her eyes and she stopped to see Neil. Neil was frightened. Neil looked at Avni and he was panting. Neil kept his hand on his chest and sighed. Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: Ab maine kya kiya?

Avni wiped her upper lips.

Avni: woh, woh, mujhe laga koi chor ghus aya hai.

Neil made a face.

Neil: Chor? Main kis angle se tumhe chor dikhta hun.

Avni remained silent. Neil saw a vase in Avni’s hands.

Neil: aur yeh kya? Is vase se chor ka sar phorne wali thi? Wah meri sherni.

Neil flinched.

Avni smiled but something struck in her mind.

Neil smiled and he leaned to Avni.

Neil: Magic. Neil Khanna ka magic.

Avni frowned and Neil smiled. Neil moved back.

Neil: Maine KK se keh kar lock ko…

Neil cleared his throat and Avni was surprised. Avni smiled and shook her head.

Avni: tum bhi na.

Neil smiled.

Neil: EK minute.

Neil went to the balcony and Avni was looking at him. Neil came back and a box was in his hand. Avni smiled. Neil took out a cake and kept it on the table. Avni smiled, Neil looked at Avni and smiled. Neil saw the time and there was two minutes to 12. Neil smiled and he came to Avni. Neil saw the time and Avni too looked at the time. They looked at each other and smiled.

Neil: chand ghariyun main woh din ajaye ga jis ka humain besabri se intazar tha.

Avni smiled. Neil looked at the time and Avni was looking at Neil. Neil smiled and he turned his face to Avni.

Neil was surprised and he smiled.

Neil smiled and he hugged Avni.

Neil smiled and kissed Avni’s cheek. Avni smiled.

They smiled.

Avni and Neil sat on the couch and Neil light the candle. They closed their eyes and made a wish. They smiled to see each other. Neil took the knife. Neil passed the knife to Avni and he held Avni’s hand. They blew the candle and cut the cake. They fed each other at the same time and smiled. Neil hugged Avni while holding her face and chewing the cake. They smiled.

The next day, the Khanna family and Neil’s friends were busy with the preparation of the wedding. The day turned into night. The guests were going to the mansion where the Khanna family and Neil’s friends were standing at the pavilion and Neil was sitting with the priest.

Shweta asked something in Vidyut’s ear who nodded and signed KK to come who nodded. They went. Neil saw them and then he thought. Neil smiled because he was happy.

On the other side, Avni was sitting in front of the dressing table.

A pendent was in her hands. Avni opened the pendent and she saw the pictures of Prakash and Shweta in one side and Neela Maa on the other side. Avni’s eyes got moist.

Avni: Aaj meri life ka sab se important din hai. Maine kabhi is day ko apni life main koi importance nahi di. Lekin aaj mujhe ehsaas hai. Aaj ka din meri zindagi ka sab se khubsurat din hai. Sab kuch perfect hai phir bhi main aap ko miss kar rahi hun… Main janti hun, Maa, aaj aap bohat khush hungi. Avni looked at the pendent.

Avni smiled.

Nm: Main kahan gai hun. Main to humesha tumhare sath. Tumhare dil main.

Avni was crying.

On the other side, Neil was sitting with the priest and he did what Priest asked him. Priest asked the Khanna family to call the bride. Neil looked at the priest. The Khanna family nodded.

Shweta nodded and she went. Neil took a deep breath and he smiled. KK and Vidyut leaned to Neil. KK shook Neil’s shoulders and Vidyut tapped Neil’s back. They smiled. Neil thought and he looked at the stairs. Neil couldn’t wait anymore.

Soon, Shweta and some girls brought Avni there. They were upstairs. Neil saw Avni and he got alert. Neil was happy but he got disappointed to see the veil. Everyone smiled to see Avni. Shweta and the girls were bringing Avni there. Neil and others were looking at them. Avni saw Neil and she blushed. Avni was brought downstairs and Neil's eyes were at Avni. Shweta brought Avni to Neil who was looking at her. Neil realized that he is looking at Avni and what People will think so Neil looked down and then Neil looked straight. Neil took a deep breath. Bebe and Shweta made Avni sit with Neil. Neil looked at Avni because he was helpless in front of his heart. Avni looked at Neil. Avni blushed and Neil smiled to see Avni. Neil leaned to Avni.

Neil: Aaj to mere chand ko dekh kar chand bhi sharma jaye ga.

Avni blushed.

Neil: Yeh ghunghat bhi tumhari khubsurati nahi chupa paa raha. Is ghunghat main bhi tum mera shikar kar rahi ho.

Avni blushed. Neil smiled. Bebe cleared her throat and Avneil looked at her. Bebe gulped and signed them relax with her hand. Avni blushed and Neil smiled. Neil moved back.

Avneil did as Priest asked. Avneil got up and they exchanged the garland. Shweta and Prakash came and Shweta tied Avni’s chunri and Neil’s muffler.  Prakash gave Avni’s hand in Neil’s hand.

Prakash: Apna promise yaad hai na?

Neil smiled and nodded. Avni smiled.

Neil: Don’t worry, mujhe mera promise ache se yaad hai. Woh promise hi to mere jeene ki waja hai.

They smiled. Avneil got up and they took the seven rounds and then they sat. The priest passed the round plate to Neil. Neil took the pinch of sindoor and applied it in Avni’s hairline. Shweta helped Neil. Avni closed her eyes and a tear fell from Avni’s eye. Avni opened her eyes and looked at Neil who smiled. Neil took the mangalsutra and tied it around Avni’s neck. Avni smiled and her eyes were moist. The priest declared Avni husband wife. Neil smiled and Avni smiled with moist eyes. Avni wiped her tears. Avni looked up and she saw Neela Maa who was smiling. Avni smiled and Neela Maa gave the blessings. Neela Maa vanished. Avni got sad but she wiped her tears.

Avneil got up and they took the blessings from the elders.

Later, the guests went back. Only the close relatives were present in the living area. The rituals completed. Bebe sighed.

Bebe: chalo, Bhai, ab sab apne apne room main chalo.

Neil got excited and his face light up.

Bebe: Shweta, tu Avni ko room main le jaa.

Neil frowned.

Neil: Kyun? Mom, kyun? Hum jate hain na.

Everyone was surprised. The guests laughed.

Shweta: Chup. Pagal.

Neil was about to say but Shweta kept her finger on her lips. Shweta smiled fakely to see the guests. Shweta came to Avni.

Shweta: Chalo, Beta.

Shweta leaned to Avni to give her support.

KK: Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait.

Shweta stopped and Neil frowned.

Bebe: Ab kya howa, Bhai.

Vidyut: Bhabhi ko room main Aunty nahi le kar jaengi.

Bebe: Hein?

Shweta: Main nahi le kar jaungi to kon le kar jayega.

Vidyut and KK: humara Hero.

Neil frowned and others were confused.

Vidyut: Means Neil Bhabhi ko utha kar room main le kar jayega.

Everyone got shocked. Avni widened her eyes and she looked at Neil.

Neil smiled. Shweta was surprised.

Prakash: Mujhe to idea acha laga.

Neil smiled. Avni was shocked.

Prakash: Mujhe koi objection nahi hai.

Shweta: kya aap bhi?

KK: Aunty, don’t be a spoiling sport.

Shweta made a face.

Bebe: Han, Shweta, tu chup kar. Tu to budhi ho gai hai. Teri life main fun hi nahi raha.

Shweta made a face. Everyone smiled and Avni made a face. Shweta looked at KK and Vidyut. They smiled and Shweta showed thumbs up to Vidyut and KK secretly because it was their plan. They also showed thumbs up to Shweta secretly. Shweta suppressed her lips.

Shweta: Acha theek hai. Ab agar sab ki yahi marzi hai to yahi sahi.

Shweta smiled and she hid it. Avni thought. Bebe nodded and she looked at Neil.

Bebe: Chal, Bhai, Neil, bandh le kamar.

Everyone looked at Bebe. Avni was shocked. Neil nodded and got up. Shweta made Avni to stand. Avni was feeling awkward. Neil signed Avni to come. Avni gulped and they moved a few steps because they need space and then they stopped.

Vidyut: chal, mere sher.

Neil smiled and he was about to pic Avni.

Avni: Lekin…

Neil looked at Avni. Everyone looked at Avni.

Bebe: Ab tujhe kya howa?

Shweta: Han.

Avni: Bebe, Mummy Ji, is ki kya zarorat hai.

Neil made a face and looked away.

Avni: Hum ase hi…

Neil looked at Avni and he leaned to pick her up. Avni was shocked.

Neil picked up Avni in a bridal style.

Everyone: Yeahhhh…

Everyone clapped.

KK: yeh hoi naa baat.

Neil smiled and he looked at Avni who blushed and kept her hand on her face. Neil smiled. Neil looked at the family and friends.

Neil: Good night, everyone.

Everyone replied him back.

Neil smiled and he moved. Neil moved from there and everyone went behind him. Neil was carrying Avni upstairs and KK and Vidyut whistled. Avneil smiled and they went. Everyone smiled.

The moon was shining over the Khanna mansion. Silence was all around there. A room was lighten by the candles and was decorated with the flowers. The door opened and Neil brought Avni to the room and made her stand. Avni blushed and Neil smiled. Neil went to lock the door. Avni was blushing and she looked at the decoration. Avni felt nervous. Neil turned and smiled to see Avni. Neil came to Avni and hugged her from behind. Avni smiled.

Neil: I am so happy today.

Avni smiled.

Neil: Finally, ab humain koi alag nahi kar sakta. Koi restriction nahi. Koi pehredari nahi. Nothing.

Avni smiled and she cupped Neil’s face. Neil kissed Avni’s cheek who also kissed him back. Neil smiled. Suddenly, something struck Neil’s mind and he widened his eyes.

Neil: oh no.

Avni was confused and Neil moved back. Avni turned to Neil.

Avni: kya howa?

Neil looked at Avni.

Neil: hum ne jaisa plan kiya tha waisa to kuch howa hi nahi?

Avni frowned.

Neil: hum ne plan kiya tha na ke tum dulhan bani ghunghat uray betho gi aur main room main aunga aur tumhara ghunghat uthaon ga phir tum mujhe dodh ka glass dogi… Asa kuch to howa hi nahi.

Avni made a face and sighed while closing her eyes.

Avni was about to say.

Neil: han, chalo, jaldi, jaldi.

Avni wanted to say but Neil covered her face with the veil.

Neil: jaldi betho. Main panch minute bad aunga… Jaldi betho. Jaldi, Jaldi.

Neil turned and he was going hurriedly. Avni took her veil up and she saw Neil going. Avni sighed and she left her veil and held her lehanga. Avni turned and she went to the bed.

Later, Avni was sitting in the centre of the bed and she was waiting for her groom. Avni’s face was covered with the veil. The door opened and Avni’s heartbeat increased. Neil entered the room and he looked at the room. Neil closed the door and he turned. Neil looked at the room and he saw Avni. Neil smiled and he sat on the bed. Neil sighed. Neil took off the veil and saw Avni. Avni’s face was glowing in the candle’s lights and her gaze was low.

Neil: Beautiful.

Avni blushed.

Neil: Koi itna khubsurat kaise ho sakta hai.

Avni was blushing.

Neil: Avni!

Avni looked at Neil slowly who smiled. Avni hid her face in her palms and Neil smiled. Neil leaned to Avni and kissed her hands. Neil looked at Avni and held her hands. Neil took away Avni’s hands and saw Avni’s gaze was low. Neil looked on and he kissed the side of Avni’s hand who didn’t dare to look up. Neil was looking at Avni. Neil kissed the palm of Avni’s hand. Avni smiled while looking down. Neil smiled.

Neil: Tum to ase sharma rahi ho jaise tum aaj is ghar main ayi ho aur aaj hum pehli baar…

Avni widened her eyes and she looked at Neil. Avni kept her hand on Neil’s mouth. Avni showed Neil eyes. Neil smiled.

Neil: kya?

Neil smiled and he took away Avni’s hand.

Neil: kya ghalat kaha maine.

Avni: chup raho.

Neil smiled and said, kyun?

Avni: mujhe kuch ho raha hai. Ek to yeh setup asa hai room ka. Isay dekh kar hi mujhe nervousness ho rahi hai.

Avni smiled. Avni remembered something and she turned her face. Avni took the glass of milk and Neil smiled. Avni fed Neil who drank the half milk and took the glass from Avni.

Neil: Ab tumhari bari.

Avni shook her head.

Avni: Nahi.

Neil: Nahi, nahi, nahi, Han.

Avni: Neil, nahi.

Neil: Kya nahi. Pina parega. Energy ke liye best hai. Tumhe bhi to energy chahiye na.

Avni: sab smajh rahi hun. yeh dodh naa peene ke bahane hain.

Neil smiled.

Neil: Pio. 

Avni smiled and Neil fed her. Neil kept the glass on the side table and sat on the bed. Neil looked at Avni who was looking at her hands. Neil layed his head on Avni’s lap and Avni saw him. Neil held Avni’s hand and kept it on his head. Avni smiled and she caressed Neil’s hair.

Neil: Pata hai, Avni, aaj main bohat khush hon.

Avni smiled.

Avni: Koi khaas waja?

Neil looked at Avni and smiled.

Neil: ek to aaj humari shadi hoi hai.

Avni smiled.

Neil: aur us se bhi zyada khushi is baat ki hai ke jaise main tumhe dulhan bana kar lana chahta tha sab ke samne pure maan saman ke sath bilkul waise hi laya hun.

Avni smiled and she kissed Neil’s forehead who smiled.

Avni: Main bhi aaj bohat khush hun. Mann per jo ek bojh tha sab ki kushiyan spoil karne ka. Aaj woh bojh mann per se hat gaya. Sab kitna khush the. Sab ko khush dekh kar bohat acha laga, Neil

Neil smiled. Avni looked at Neil and she was caressing Neil’s hair.

Avni: Aur tumhari khushi dekh kar jo sukoon mili woh main bayan nahi kar sakti.

Neil smiled. They talked and Neil remembered something.

Neil: Aray main tumhe tumhari mou dikhai dena to bhul hi gaya.

Neil sat and Avni was looking at him. Neil turned to Avni and he took out a small box from his pocket and he opened it. A ring was in it. Avni saw the ring and then she looked at Neil. Neil held Avni’s hands and put the ring on Avni’s finger. Neil kissed the ring and Avni blushed. Neil was looking at Avni and Avni looked at him.

Avni saw love and desire in Neil’s eyes and she smiled. Avni cupped Neil’s face and she kissed Neil’s forehead. Neil opened his eyes and he looked at Avni. Neil cupped Avni’s face and he kissed her whole face and then he traced Avni’s lips who closed her eyes and parted his lips. Neil looked at Avni and then he looked at Avni’s lips. Neil leaned to Avni’s lips. Everyone got blured.

Later, Neil was standing near the bed and he opened the button of his kurta. Neil removed his kurta. Avni was laying on the bed and her blouse was hiked from her shoulder and her jewellery was removed. Avni was looking at Neil who removed his kurta and kept it on the stool which was kept there. Neil kept his knee on the bed and he hovered over Avni. Neil cupped Avni’s face and caressed her cheek. Avni closed her eyes and Neil was looking at Avni who looked at him.

Neil: I love you, Avni and I will always love you. Tum se barh kar aur koi khuwaish nahi hai meri. Tum hi meri pehli aur akhri khuwaish ho.

Avni: I love you too, Neil. Main sirf tum se pyaar kiya hai aur sirf tum se hi pyaar karti rahungi meri akhri sans tak. Tum hi meri zindagi ho aur tum hi meri duniya.

Neil smiled and they looked at each other for a few seconds. Neil leaned to Avni and kissed her neck. Avni closed her eyes and a tear fell from her eyes. Neil and Avni got united again.
