It was the time of the morning, the sun was shining over the Khanna mansion and it peeked into Avneil’s room where Avneil was sleeping peacefully. Avni’s sleep was disturbed and she opened her narrowed eyes. Avni rubbed her eyes and opened them. Avni saw Neil’s face and she stopped. Avni adored Neil’s face who was looking cute. Avni smiled to see Neil and stared at him for a few minutes. Avni forwarded her hand to touch Neil’s face but she stopped because Avni realized that she was going to touch Neil's face. Avni thought and then she looked at Neil. Neil was sleeping.

The sun was shining and the birds were hovering in the sky. In the Khanna mansion, Shweta was going to the kitchen and she was surprised to see Avni near the dining table. A trolley was near Avni. Avni took a bowl from the trolley. Shweta came to Avni who kept the bowl on the table. 

Shweta: Yeh sab kya hai, Beta?

A bowl was in Avni’s hand. Avni saw Shweta and smiled. Avni kept the bowl on the table and turned to Shweta.

Avni: Good morning.

Shweta said, good morning while looking at the table.

Shweta: Yeh sab kya hai, Beta?

Avni: Breakfast.

Avni smiled and Shweta made a face. Shweta smiled.

Shweta: Woh to mujhe bhi pata hai. Kya zarorat thi. Main uthti na.

Avni: Kyun aap bhi to roz mere uthne se pehle breakfast bana deti hain. Aap mujhe kuch karne hi kahan deti hain. Sab kuch to aap karti hain.

Shweta cupped Avni’s face with one hand.

Shweta: Tu itna parhti jo ho.

They smiled.

Shweta: Pura din parhne main chala jata hai upar se kam bhi karwaun.

Avni smiled.

Shweta: Sorry, Beta, raat ko dair se soye to meri aaj subha jaldi ankh hi nahi khuli.

Avni made a face.

Avni: Sorry kyun. Main breakfast nahi bana sakti.

Shweta: Bana sakti ho. Lekin tum ne akele kyun banaya. Mujhe uthati na.

Avni: Akele kahan banaya. Bheema Di thi na meri help ke liye.

Shweta made a face.

Avni: Aap bhi to yahi kehti hain na?

Shweta showed her hand to Avni who made a sad pout and then they smiled. Prakash and Bebe came there. They wished morning to each other.

Prakash: Kya baat hai, Shweta Ji, itni jaldi breakfast ban bhi gaya.

Shweta: Maine nahi banaya. Aap ki ladli beti ne banaya hai.

Prakash and Bebe looked at Avni who looked at them.

Prakash: Avni ne?

Avni nodded.

Prakash: Wah kya baat hai. Matlab aaj acha khane ko milega.

Shweta nodded and Avni widened her eyes. Avni looked at Shweta who was smiling but then a bell rang in Shweta’s mind and she opened her mouth.

Bebe: Yeh to sahi kaha tu ne, Prakash.

Prakash looked at Bebe shockingly and kept his finger on his lips. Shweta made an angry face.

Shweta: kya kaha aap ne?

Prakash was shocked.

Prakash: Ku, kuch nahi. Kuch bhi to nahi. Maine to kuch bola hi nahi hai.

Bebe: kya? sach to kaha.

Shweta opened her mouth.

Shweta: Matlab main acha khana nahi banati.

Bebe: Nahi.

Avni was shocked and Avni shook her head. Shweta made a crying face. Avni kept her hand on Shweta’s shoulder.

Avni: Nahi, Mummy Ji, aap bohat acha khana banati hain. Papa Ji to Mazak kar rahe the. Hain na, Papa Ji.

Prakash: Ha, Han.

Shweta sobbed.

Bebe: kyun jhot bol raha hai.

Avni: Bebe, kya aap bhi.

Bebe: Neil ki zuban mat bol.

Avni frowned.

Bebe: Us ke sath reh, reh kar tu bhi us ke jaisi ho gai hai.

Avni made a face and then she looked at Shweta.

Avni: Sach main. Mummy Ji aap bohat acha khana banati hain. Mere hath ka khana to aap ne samne kuch bhi nahi hai.

Shweta: Tum jhot bol rahi ho mera dil rakhne ke liye.

Avni shook her head.

Bebe: bilkul jhot bol rahi hai.

Shweta cried and Avni hugged.

Avni made a face and then they smiled.

Shweta’s face lit up and she looked at Bebe.

Shweta smiled. Neil came there.

Neil: Good morning, lovely people.

The family smiled and wished him back. Neil looked at the breakfast.

Neil: Kya batain ho rahi hain?

Bebe was about to say.

Avni: Batain hoti rahen gi pehle breakfast kar len.

Bebe: yahi baat ho rahi thi.

Neil smiled.

Bebe:Ek aur baat thi.

Avni was surprised and Prakash smiled too. Neil smiled.

Neil: Kya?

Bebe: Baat yeh thi ke teri Biwi ab teri zuban bolne lagi hai.

Avni was amazed. Neil frowned and looked at Avni who also looked at him. Avni looked down. Neil smiled.

Neil: Matlab?

Bebe: Matlab ke jaise tu baat karta hai woh bhi ab ase hi baat karne lagi hai.

Neil frowned and then he smiled.

Neil: Kya, Bebe, aap bhi.

Avni and others looked at Neil with amazement.

Bebe: Dekha.

Shweta was surprised. She pointed a finger at Neil and Avni. Neil was confused.

Neil: kya howa?

Shweta: Avni ne bhi yahi kaha tha.

Bebe: wahi to.

Prakash: Acha ab bus. Sab batain bad mai. Breakfast thanda ho jaye ga.

Everyone nodded and smiled. They sat.
Bebe: by the way, sab kuch Avni ne banaya hai.

Neil was surprised and he looked at Avni. Avni looked at Neil and then she looked down. Neil smiled.

Shweta: Tillu ka favourite breakfast hai.

Neil looked at the breakfast and then he looked at Avni who felt shy. Neil smiled and he got happy. Neil looked at the family while smiling. All were happy to see Avneil smiling. They had breakfast.

Later, Avneil was sitting in their room. Neil was scrolling down his phone and Avni was studying. Avni remembered something and she looked at Neil. Avni thought.

Avni: Neil?

Neil: Hmm.

Neil looked at Avni.

Avni: Tum kitne din ke liye aye ho?

Neil: parso main chala jaun ga.

Avni got upset and she looked down. Neil saw Avni upset and he was surprised.

Neil: Kya howa?

Avni shook her head.

Avni: Kuch nahi.

Neil thought.

Neil in mind: Avni nahi chahti ke main wapis jaun? Is liye woh upset ho gai hai.

Neil felt a joy and he looked at Avni. Neil smiled. Neil thought and looked at Avni.

Neil: Aaj kahin bahar chalen?

Avni was surprised and Neil was looking at her. Avni smiled and nodded. Neil got happy.

Neil: Tum jaldi se ready ho jao phir hum bahar chalte hain.

Avni smiled and said, OK.

Avni closed her book and took them.

Avni got ready and she checked herself. Neil wore a shirt over his T-shirt. Neil saw Avni and he got lost to see her. Neil was used to miss this moment in London. Neil stared at Avni who saw him and found him looking at her. Avni blushed and Neil smiled. Avni saw herself in the mirror and Neil looked around for his wallet. Neil’s eyes fell on the bed and he saw Avni’s mangalsutra on the bed. Neil looked at Avni who was wearing the bangles and then Neil looked at the bed. Neil went to bed and he took the mangalsutra. Neil looked at Avni and then he thought.

Neil wanted to check what is the importance of their relationship in Avni’s eyes. Neil rubbed his hands and he moved away from there. Neil took his wallet from the table and took his phone also and then Neil turned and moved away. Neil looked at Avni and he turned to her. Avni got ready and she came to Neil who looked at her. Avni was very happy because she was going out with Neil. Avni missed him in all these days and she realized his value in her life.

Avni: chalen.

Neil was upset.

Neil: Han, chalo.

Avni smiled and moved. Neil thought. Neil looked at the mangalsutra. Neil turned and he was going. Avni touched her neck. Avni stopped and held Neil’s arm.

Avni: Ek minute.

Neil stopped and looked at Avni. Avni touched her neck. Avni held her hair and looked around. Neil was looking at Avni and he looked at the bed and then he looked at Avni. Avni looked at the bed and smiled. Avni went to bed and Neil was looking at Avni. Avni took the mangalsutra and she went to the dressing table. Avni wore the mangalsutra and Neil got happy. Neil stared at Avni. Avni set the mangalsutra and she smiled. Avni came to Neil who was staring at her.

Avni: chalen.

Neil was lost.

Avni: Neil.

Neil came out of his thoughts.

Neil: Han?

Avni: Kya howa?

Neil shook his head.

Neil: kuch nahi.

Avni: chalen?

Neil: Han chalo.

Avni smiled and moved. Neil thought and he looked very happy. Neil scratched his head and smiled. Neil went behind Avni.

Avni and Neil went on the long drive. They had lunch at the restaurant. Neil took Avni shopping and he bought dresses for Avni. Avni denied but Neil kept his finger on his lips and Avni made a face. Avni smiled. Neil also bought the jacket for himself. Neil wore the jackets and asked Avni about them. Avni helped him to choose. They had ice cream there. They went to the beach and walked there. Neil talked and Avni smiled. Avni also talked. The day turned to the night and then they went to have dinner. After that, they got in the car and drove back home.

It was the time of the night, Avneil came home and the Khanna family was present in the living area.

Shweta: Aray agaye tum dono… Bheema, pani lana.

Avneil smiled and Neil kept the shopping bags on the table.

Bebe: Kafi shopping karwai hai Avni ko lagta hai.

Shweta: Bebe, Neil hi shopping karwa sakta hai Avni ko warne yeh, yeh to kuch leti hi nahi hai apne liye.

Avni made a sad pout and others smiled.

Bebe: kya, kya dilwaya hai apni woti ko.

Neil: sirf woti ko hi shopping nahi karwai aap sab ke liye bhi ki hai.

Avni and Neil gave the gifts to the family and also showed their things. The family smiled.

Bebe: Bhai, sab kuch bohat acha hai.

Avneil smiled.

Prakash: bilkul.

Avneil smiled.

Later, Avni was sitting on the bed and Neil entered the room. Avni saw Neil and they passed a smile to each other. Neil came to the bed and took out his phone. Neil kept his phone on the side table and sat on the bed.

Avni: Ho gai baat?

Neil nodded.

Neil: Yes.

Avni nodded.

Avni: ok.

Avni looked down. Neil thought and looked at Avni.

Neil: kafi maza aya na aaj?

Avni smiled and nodded.

Avni: Hmm.

Neil smiled. Neil thought and looked at Avni.

Neil: Movie dekhen?

Avni got excited and nodded.

Avni: Main sab ko bula kar laun?

Neil’s smile faded.

Neil: Sab ko?

Avni nodded. Neil looked down and said, ok.

Avni was looking at him and she found Neil sad.

Avni: Kya howa?

Neil looked at Avni and shook his head.

Neil: Kuch nahi.

Avni sighed.

Avni: Main janti hun, Neil ke tum mere sath movie dekhna chahte ho.

Neil was surprised.

Avni: Lekin Neil, Mummy Ji, Papa, Bebe, sab tumhe bohat miss karte hain. Tum parso chale jaoge. Hum ne aaj pura din sath bitaya hai thora time un ke sath bhi to spend karo.

Neil smiled.

Avni: ek kaam karte hain aaj sab ke sath movie dekh lete hain kal hum sath main movie dekh lenge.

Neil smiled.

Neil: Yeh bhi theek hai.

Neil leaned to Avni and pulled her cheek: My smart wifey.

Avni blushed and Neil smiled.

Neil: Acha chalo, main sab ko theatre room le kar aata hun.

Avni: aur main snacks ka intazam karti hun.

Neil: OK.

They smiled and got up.

Neil brought the family to the theatre room and Avni came there while carrying the snacks. The family was sitting on the couch.

Avni: Snacks for all.

Everyone smiled. Avni gave the bowls and cold drinks to everyone and then she came to Neil who took the bowl and colddrink.

Neil: Yahan betho.

Avni smiled and nodded. Avni sat. Neil starts the movie. Neil got up and went to switch off the lights and then he came back and sat. They were watching the movie and Neil looked at Avni and then he thought. Neil looked at the screen and side-hugged Avni. Avni saw Neil’s hand and then she looked at Neil. Neil looked at Avni and when Avni didn’t react to that, Neil smiled. Avni looked at the screen and Neil smiled. Neil passed his bowl to Avni and he fed Avni snacks who smiled and ate. Neil smiled and they enjoyed the movie.

Suddenly, an intense scene started in the movie and the main actors were arguing with each other. The female lead was going in anger then the male lead held her arms and pulled her to himself. The boy kissed the girl. Avni felt awkward and she looked down. The lights were off so no one reacted to that but then the song started and it was a romantic song. Now everyone started to feel awkward. Neil widened his eyes and forwarded the song. Avni gulped while looking down.

The song ended but the boy and the girl were lying on the bed in an intimate position and they were covered with the duvet. The boy was nuzzling the girl’s neck. Avni felt awkward and Neil was shocked. Neil widened his eyes and he forwarded that scene. Bebe cleared her throat and Neil also did the same. Neil looked at Avni who was looking away.

Neil: Ab sab theek hai. Tum movie dekh sakti ho.

Avni looked at Neil who smiled. Avni was feeling awkward so she looked at the screen. Neil smiled. They were watching the movie and to end the awkwardness, Neil took the glass from Avni’s hand and Avni was surprised. Neil sipped and Avni was shocked. Neil saw Avni from the corner of his eyes and then he looked at the screen. Neil passed the glass to Avni who took the glass and felt shy. Neil smiled and Avni sipped. Neil was smiling. They watched the movie. Avni yawned and she laid her head on the seat.

Neil was watching the movie and suddenly he felt a weight on his shoulder. Neil turned his face and he saw Avni’s head on his shoulder. Neil was surprised at first and then he smiled. Neil found Avni sleeping. Avni adjusted her head on Neil’s shoulder who took away the hair from Avni’s face. Neil smiled and petted Avni’s face. Neil looked at the screen. Soon the movie ended and Shweta switched on the light. Bebe saw Avni.

Bebe: Aray, yeh so gai.

Neil smiled and looked at Avni.

Prakash: Hum jaa rahe hain room main isay bhi room main le jaa.

Neil nodded. The Khanna family went and Neil looked at Avni. Neil smiled and rested his head on the seat. Neil sighed and then he closed his eyes. They slept there.

Avni took Neil’s phone and saw the time. Avni was shocked.

Avni was shocked.

Avni: Hum sari raat yahi sote rahe.

Avni looked at Neil sadly.

Avni: Meri waja se Neil ko bhi yahi sona para.

Neil was sleeping with an open mouth and Avni smiled to see him.

It was the time of the morning, Avni was wiping her hair with the towel and Neil came into the room and looked up. Neil was surprised to see Avni. Avni was wiping her hair with the towel and Neil was looking at her. Neil came forward and he didn’t notice the water on the floor. Neil’s foot slipped and he was shocked. Neil: Bebe, main kal raat ko hi to aap ko dawai de kar gaya tha.

Bebe: Pata nahi maine kahan rakh di. Mil hi nahi rahi.

Avni: Chaliye, Bebe, main aap ki help karti hun.

Bebe: Han, aaja.

Avni nodded. Avni looked at Neil.

Avni: Neil, main…

Avni signed Neil who nodded. Avni went with Bebe and Neil sighed.

Neil: kya family hai meri. Yahan main meri Biwi ke sath time spend karne ke liye tarpe jaa raha hun aur meri family ke kaam hi khatam nahi ho rahe. Kabhi mujhe dawai lene bhej dete hain to kabhi meri Biwi ko hi dawai dhundhne le jate hain.

Neil made a crying face.

Neil: Kal main wapis chala jaunga mujhe meri Avni ke sath time spend karna hai.

Neil tapped his feet like a small kid. Neil also went behind Avni and Bebe.

The day passed and at the time of the night, Avni packed Neil’s bag with Shweta and Neil was also present there. Avni pressed the bag and Neil closed the zip. Avneil looked at each other and Avni looked down. Neil closed the zip and sighed.

Neil: ho gaya.

Neil cleaned his hand. Avni looked at Neil sadly. Neil smiled and Avni smiled slightly. Avni thought.

The next day, Avni was standing in front of the dressing table and she was getting ready. Neil was sitting on the bed and he was looking at Avni. Avni was getting ready. Neil got up and he set his shirt. Neil was looking at Avni and he moved to Avni. Avni took the small box of sindoor and Neil saw that. Neil thought and he came to Avni who was about to apply the sindoor to her hairline and she stopped to see Neil. Neil held Avni’s arms and turned her to him. Avni was looking down. Avni was sad because Neil was going.

Avni looked at Neil who pointed at the sindoor then he pointed at himself and then he pointed at Avni.

Neil: May I?

Avni was looking at Neil who smiled. Neil took the pinch of sindoor and he applied that in Avni’s hairline. Avni closed her eyes and then she looked at Neil with moist eyes. Neil smiled and then he looked at the dressing table. Neil took the mangalsutra and then he looked at Avni who looked at the mangalsutra and then Avni looked at Neil with teary eyes. Neil put on the mangalsutra on his neck and a tear fell from Avni’s eyes. Neil looked at Avni who also looked at him. Neil cupped Avni’s face and wiped her tears. Neil kissed Avni’s forehead and then they looked at each other and Neil smiled. Neil hugged Avni. Avni wiped her tears and sighed.

Avneil heard Shweta that Shweta called Neil’s name. They moved away. Shweta knocked on the door.

Neil: Mom, ajaiye.

Shweta, Bebe, and Prakash came there. Avneil smiled to see them. Avni looked away and wiped her eyes.

Prakash: Chalen?

Neil nodded.

Neil: Ji, dad.

Neil went to bed and a suitcase was kept on the floor. Neil took the bag and held the handle. Neil signed Avni to come.

Neil: Come.

Avni nodded and she moved. Suddenly, Avni’s foot twisted and she winced.

Avni: ouch.

Neil turned and everyone was shocked to see Avni. The Khanna family called Avni’s name. Neil saw Avni and he was shocked. Avni was standing by holding her leg and her eyes were closed.

Neil left the bag and he came to Avni. Neil held Avni and then family also came to them. Avni was in pain.
