The sun rises and its rays fall on the earth. The people started their day and got busy with their work. Avni’s home was full of guests. Avni was feeling awkward and suffocated but she smiled to see the people. Avni thought. Avni’s phone rang and she looked at her phone. Avni saw Neil’s name. Avni looked at the people and she was about to receive the call but Dayawanti Mehta called her. Avni looked at her grandmother and then she looked at the phone. Avni cut the call in a hurry and she thought.

Avni went to her grandmother who was sitting with her friends. Dayawanti Mehta introduced Avni to them and Avni greeted the guests.

On the other side, Neil was standing in his room and he looked at his phone.

Neil: Avni ne meri call cut kar di.

Neil got angry and he threw his phone on the bed.

Neil: now it’s a limit. She is continuously doing it. Avni shayad mujhse baat hi nahi karna chahti. Fine, ab main bhi usay call nahi karunga. Main bhi meri life enjoy kar sakta hun. Mujhe bhi haq hai apni life apne tarike se jeene ka.

Neil nodded and he looked at the bed. Neil went there and he picked up the phone. Neil dialed a number.

Neil: Hello, Vidyut.

Neil thought.

Neil went out with his friends and they spent the whole day roaming but Neil was missing Avni. Neil was looking at his phone from time to time. Vidyut and KK noticed that and then they looked at each other. Neil’s friends looked at him.

One month passed but Avni was still in her hometown. Avni and Neil talked rarely and Neil was missing Avni.

One day, Prakash was sitting on the couch in the living area and was reading the newspaper and sipping his tea. The phone rang and Prakash looked at the phone which was kept on the table. Prakash kept the cup on the table and picked up the phone. Prakash saw the principal’s number. Prakash was surprised and he frowned.

Prakash: Ab kya kar diya is Neil ne?

Prakash received the call and kept the newspaper on his lap.

Prakash: Hello, ji Principal sir, how are you?

Principal: I am good. How are you?

Prakash: I am Fine. Kahi kaise yaad kiya sab theek hai na?

Principal: Ji, Ji, sab theek hai. Aap se Neil ke bare main kuch baat karni thi.

Prakash frowned.

Prakash: Ji, kahiye, Neil ne kuch kiya hai kya?

Principal: Ji, bilkul kiya hai.

Prakash was shocked and he got angry. Prakash was about to say.

Prakash was surprised and he smiled.

Principal: Avni ke sath reh kar Neil sahi raste per agaya hai.

Prakash smiled.

Principal: Aap ne sahi kiya Avni aur Neil ki engagement karwa kar. It was a good even the best decision of your life.

Prakash smiled.

Principal: Acha to ab main rakhta hun. Maine socha aap ko call kar ke congratulate karun. Abhi hum ne result announce nahi kiya.

They smiled.

Prakash: Thank you. Sach main dil khush kar diya aap ne.

The principal smiled.

Prakash: Thank you so much itni achi news sunane ke liye.

Prakash: Bye.

Shweta came and sat with Prakash. Prakash saw Shweta and he smiled. Prakash cut the call.

Shweta: Kya baat hai? Bohat khush nazar arahe hain.

Prakash: Khushi wali to baat hai. Neil ke principal ki call ayi thi.

Shweta: Acha. Kya kaha unho ne?

Prakash: Unho ne kaha ke Neil class main…

Prakash stopped and thought.

Prakash in mind: Nahi. Shweta ko abhi nahi bata sakta. Woh to ek second bhi is baat ko raaz nahi rakh payegi.

Prakash nodded and Shweta frowned.

Shweta was surprised and happy too.

Prakash nodded and said, Han.

Shweta smiled.

Prakash: Lekin mujhe yeh smajh nahi araha ke Neil ko achanak howa kya hai?

Shweta smiled.

Shweta: Pyaar.

Prakash looked at Shweta.

Shweta smiled.

Shweta: Neil khud ko Avni ke kaabil banana chahta hai.

Prakash was looking at Shweta.

Shweta: Neil, Avni aur hum sab ko us per proud feel karwana chahta hai. Woh roz raat ko apne room main beth kar parhai karta rehta hai.

Prakash was surprised.

Prakash: Really?

Shweta nodded. Prakash smiled.

Prakash: Agar asa hai to is se khushi ki baat aue koi ho hi nahi sakti.

Shweta: Asa hi hai.

Prakash: Phir to acha hai. I wish, Neil ki life track per ajaye aur usay apni responsibilities ka ehsaas ho jaye.

Shweta: Asa hi hoga.

Prakash smiled and side-hugged Shweta who smiled and kept her head on Prakash’s shoulder. They smiled. Prakash sighed and smiled.

It was the time of the night, Neil was sitting on the bed and his phone was on his ear.

Neil: Kab arahi ho, yaar? I miss you.

Avni: Kal.

Neil was surprised and he got up from the bed in excitement.

Neil: What? Kal?

Avni nodded.

Avni: Hmm.

Neil: Kitne baje wali train se?

Avni: 12:30 pm.

Neil: Means 05:30 tak yahan pohanch jaoge.

Neil: Theek hai. Main tumhe receive karne aonga.

Avni was shocked.

Neil frowned.

Neil: Acha, tum mujhe train ki timing aur baki details send kar dena main time se pohach jauga.

Avni: ok. Ab mujhe jana hoga. Mama ki packing main help karni hai.

Avni and Neil cut the call. Avni thought and Neil got excited.

The next day, the people were busy with their activities on the streets. Railway station was written on the board and a crowd of people was present there. The trains were also there. Neil came there and he looked here and there. Neil saw the time on his watch and then he looked around. Neil heard the announcement. Neil smiled and he looked in the direction from where the train will come. Neil was waiting for the train impatiently. Soon, he saw a train coming. Neil smiled and he sighed happily. Neil will see his Avni after one month.

The train came and Neil moved to it. Neil was looking for Avni. Neil looked at the door and saw Ashish who climbed down the train and then he gave his hand to Dayawanti Mehta. Ashish took the luggage and then they moved. Neela Maa also came and Neil’s eyes were waiting to see Avni and then a hand held the handle and Avni came there. The wind blew and Avni’s hair flew because of the wind. Once again Neil lost his heart to Avni. Neil’s hair also flew in the air and he was lost in admiring his beauty queen.

Neil came back to reality and he came to the Mehta family and Avni saw Neil. 
The Mehta family saw Neil and they were surprised to see Neil. They looked at Avni who looked at them and then she looked down. Ashish and Dayawanti Mehta smiled to see each other because their intentions were not so good.
Avni was about to climb down but Neil moved to her and forwarded his hand. Avni saw Neil and then she looked at Neil’s hand. Avni gave her hand to Neil and she climbed down.

Neil: Aram se.

Neela Maa smiled to see Neil’s care for Avni but Ashish and Dayawanti Mehta smiled greedily. Avni climbed down and the boy was behind Avni. Neil kept his hand on Avni’s back and Avni looked at Neil.

Neil: Side per aao.

Avni moved and turned. Avni saw the boy and then she looked at Neil who smiled to see her. Avni smiled. Neil greeted the Mehta family and took blessings from them.

Nm: Neil, tum yahan?

Neil smiled sheepishly.

Ashish: Yeh kaisa sawal hai, Neela. Neil, humain receive karne aya hai.

Neil didn’t like Ashish’s interrupting Neela Maa. Neil looked at Neela Maa and smiled.

Neil: Yes, main aap sab ko receive karne aya hun. Ab meri Maa aur fiancée ek month bad wapis arahe the so mujhe to aana hi tha na.

Ashish and Dayawanti Mehta were shocked and Avni and Neela Maa smiled but they looked at Ashish and Neela Maa who looked at each other.

Neil: Ab jaldi chale ghar main sab aap sab ka besabri se wait kar rahe hain.

The Mehta family was surprised.

Avni: Hum Khanna Mansion jaen ge?

Neil: Han. Ab abhi ghar kaise jao gi. Wahan to har taraf dust hi dust hogi aur phir dinner kaise banao ge? Ghar main kuch hoga hi nahi.

Everyone smiled except Avni. Neil looked at Avni and his smile faded.

Dm: Ashish, Avni saman.

Neil: Main uthata hun.

Neil held the handle of the bag and Ashish took another bag. Avni took a bag.

Neil: Mujhe do.

Avni: Main utha lun gi.

Neil took the bag from Avni.

Neil: Aao.

Neil and others moved and Avni was looking at Neil. Avni also moved and they went.

Neil and the Mehta family came to the car and Ashish and Dayawanti Mehta looked at each other. They smiled. Neil went to the trunk. Ashish and Neil kept the luggage in the trunk and then Neil shut the trunk. Neil looked at Avni and thought. Neil went to the passenger seat and he opened the door for Avni. Avni saw that and Neil looked at her. Avni looked at Neil who was looking at hee.
The Mehta family saw that.

Ashish: Betho, Avni beta.

Avni and Neil looked at Ashish who signed her to sit. Neil got angry and he clenched his fist. Avni lowered her gaze and she moved the seat. Avni sat and set her dress. Neil kept her scarf on her lap and Avni saw that. Avni and Neil looked at each other. Neil smiled and then he moved back. Neil shut the door and then he went to sit on the driving seat. The Mehta family also got in the car and they went from there.

Soon, they reached the Khanna mansion and the Khanna family welcomed them. They met. Shweta hugged Avni and then she cupped her face. They smiled then they moved to the couch.

Shweta: itna time lag gaya aane main hum kab se aap sab ka intazar kar rahe the.

Dayawanti Mehta: Woh train late thi.

Bebe: Oh acha. Aur sab theek hain?

DM: Ji, Ji, bus upar wali ki kripa hai.

They smiled and talked.

Later, they had dinner and then they sat in the living area and talked. Neil signed Shweta who nodded and then she thought.

Shweta: Ab, Maa, ji.

Everyone looked at each other.

Shweta: Aap log ek month bad aye hain. Ek mahine se bache ek dusre se nahi mile… to…

Prakash frowned. Bebe was also confused and Neil looked at them and then he looked at Shweta.

Shweta: mera kehne ka matlab hai ke bachon ko sath main time beetane ka mauka milna chahiye.

Shweta smiled.

Everyone was surprised. The Khanna family smiled but the Mehta family was in shock including Avni.

Neil and Shweta smiled. Avni was thinking.

Prakash: Jab se college khatam howa hai Avni aur Neil ne sath main waqt hi nahi beetaya.

Ashish smiled fakely.

Ashish: ji yeh to hai.

Shweta got some courage.

Shweta instantly said: to yeh dono kal bahar jaa sakte hain?

The Mehta family was shocked. Neela Maa looked at her husband and mother-in-law.

DM: Bilkul jaa sakte hain.

Neil got happy and he looked at Avni who bowed her head. Neil’s heart broke to see Avni. Neil thought.

Later, a car stopped outside the Mehta House and Neil and the Mehta family got out of the car. They kept the luggage inside. Neil cleaned his hands and sighed.

Neil: ab main chalta hun.

Nm: Betho beta.

Neil smiled.

Neil: Phir kabhi, Neela Maa.

They smiled. Neil said bye and then he looked at Avni.

Neil: Bye.

Avni: Bye.

Neil looked down and then he looked at Avni who also looked at him. They looked at each other for a few seconds. Neil turned and then he went from there. Avni was looking at Neil.

The next day went normal. It was the time of the evening, Neil brought Avni somewhere while keeping his hand on Avni’s eyes. It was an open area and Neil smiled to see there. Avni was wearing a gown and Neil was wearing a suit.

The wind was blowing.

Neil: Ab main tumhari ankhon se mera hath hata raha hun. Tum ahista, ahista apni ankhen kholna Ok?

Avni was confused but she nodded.

Neil: OK.

Avni was looking at Neil.

Avni was surprised.

Neil sighed.

Neil looked around and blushed and then he looked at Avni who was shocked. Neil’s smile faded to see Avni. Avni and Neil were looking at each other. Neil got up and he was looking at Avni.

Neil: Kya howa, Avni, tumhe surprise pasand nahi aya kya?

Avni was looking at Neil sadly. Neil was looking at Avni.

Avni: I am sorry, Neil, but I don’t love you.

Neil was shocked and he felt a pinch in his heart.

Avni: Neil, main chahti to tum se jhoot bol sakti thi lekin main tumhe koi jhooti umeed nahi dena chahti. Meri life main pyaar ke liye koi jaga nahi hai.

Neil was shocked.

Avni: Neil, kal kya hoga mujhe nahi pata lekin aaj meri life main pyaar ki koi jaga nahi hai. Meri life ka ek motive hai aur mera pura focus usi per hai. Agar in sab ke bad bhi tum mujhse shadi karna chahte ho to mujhe koi objection nahi hai.

Neil was looking at Avni.

Avni: Hum engaged hain tumhe aur tumhari family ko jab bhi theek lage shadi ki date fix karne aa sakte hain. Main humari shadi ke liye ready hun. Mere liye yeh ek arrange marriage se zyada kuch nahi hogi.

Avni smiled and nodded. Neil smiled. Avni found Neil sad.

Neil smiled.

Avni looked on.

The sun went down and the view was looking beautiful. The waiter came and kept the vessels there. The staff went from there. Avni and Neil had dinner and then they roamed there. Avni saw the view and she noticed the decoration. The heart of stones was lighted and it was looking beautiful. The hanging lamps were lighted and the view was looking beautiful. Avni thought.
