Sapphire was roaming the bowels of hell as per usual these days if they could even be called days. Suddenly, she detected a voice that she thought she would never hear again, her mother's. She didn't despise her mother as she had done nothing sinful, EXCEPT, believe her sister. She was disappointed in her mother because the one person who should have known how Sapphire acts and lives her life didn't believe her.

Now, her sister, Diamond, on the other hand, she doesn't really care for her. Not after what she did.

-Flashback-

(Sapphire's POV)

I was just coming home from my promotion. I had just gotten promoted to a Guardian Angel and had completed my first day of training. I got home and I saw Diamond laying nearly motionless on her bed. My mother turned to me and had an angry expression.

"Mother...I" I started only to be cut off by a slap, followed by a punch to the gut.

"M...mom?" I asked.

My mother had a very angry look on her face, "What did you do!"

"What did I do? I didn't do anything!" I said confused.

"Then how did Diamond get in her condition!" my mother, Lapiz, said.

I didn't answer but that came with a consequence. My mother disowned me, and because of that, I was sent to Earth for a few days. That was before my father found out and I was sent to hell. My wings changed from pure white to one being fully black and the other white with silver tips. The black meant that I was a fallen angel, and there was no red so that meant that I had done nothing wrong. The white represented my angelic side and the silver was because of my stubbornness and perseverance. I heard in my head the voice of my lord.

"Sapphire, I know that you have done nothing wrong and that Diamond had self-inflicted her wounds and blamed it on you. Hence why you still have a white wing and silver, if you really did do the actions, your wings would be black with red tips."

I silently thanked him. Then I was left to my own devices. Diamond was such a pain and was always jealous of me. Is this why I was sent here, because of her stupid tricks?

-End Flashback-

Sapphire saw two figures, familiar figures. She followed them to a house, a house that was very similar to her home back in Heaven. Suddenly, she saw the faces and couldn't help herself. She ran up to the two women and hugged them.

"Garnet! Amethyst!" she said happily.

The two ladies hugged back, "Sapphire? Is that you? What are you doing down here?"

"It is me, Auntie, cousin. I was cast down here because of my sister, Diamond. My mother believed my sister and banished me." Sapphire said.

Amethyst then became very angry. "What did Diamond do?!"

From looking and hearing the tone of her voice, it sounded like Diamond did something to make Amethyst come here.

"She made self-inflicted wounds, which my mother saw and blamed it on me, sadly my mother sent me to earth but then my father saw me and sent me down here," I told her.

"Of course Diamond would do something like that, she is a little brat and a devil herself!" Amethyst shouted.

I looked to Aunt Garnet for help on why Amethyst had a deep hatred towards my sister.

"Diamond is also the reason why Amethyst is down here. She told your mother that she had dated your father behind your mother's back. So she disowned Amethyst for 'treason' but Amethyst did nothing of the sort. Your mother was the one who went behind her back." Aunt Garnet said.

My mother, going behind her own niece, sister, and daughter! Why? All because of one member in the family. Why was Diamond so mean and cruel? That is one question I can not answer...yet.

Over the past few years, I felt Diamond's aura was dark, like that of a devil. I just brushed it off but now I think...maybe just maybe she is one? Or possibly an angel in disguise? Or maybe a fallen angel returned but she kept the darkness? I don't know.
