Suspicions
(Quick) Kaoru's View
Finally, after a long day of treating our guests I had some time to take a break and think about things. Mori and Honey stayed their goodbyes and headed out. They had a family meeting to attend. As for the others, Haruhi went to go study for a bit with one of her friends. Kyoya went into the kitchen to count the amount of money we earned today. Hikaru scuried after Kyoya, ready to start bothering him.
I sighed and shook my head. I guess things don't really change around here without you, Tomoyo. Everyone acts like you never made an appearance in out lives. People really don't change... Huh?
"Kaoru! Kaoru!" Tamaki cried out, plopping down beside me.
I frowned slightly, "What do you need?" I asked.
"Need? Huh? Oh, um, nothing actually. I was just bored beyond my mind seeing as everyone left us! Aren't you just devastated, Kaoru? Everyone has abandoned us!" He sobbed, his arms some how finding their way around my neck.
I clicked my tongue in annoyance and I shoved him away from me. Tamaki pouted and tried again.
"Tamaki, you're really starting to get annoying..." I muttered out through clenched teeth.
Tamaki huffed and backed away with anger swimming in the pits of his eyes.
"Well at least I can show any kind of emotion. All you can do is whine like a child, mourning over the loss of a girl that didn't even love you!" He exclaimed rather suddenly.
I flinched and stared at him for a few good seconds. I was dumbfounded; hurt. I was offended. How dare he claim that Tomoyo didn't love if he didn't know such a fact!
I let out a deep breath and I balled my fists together tightly. Keep calm, Kaoru. Don't do something you'll regret. Tomoyo wouldn't like that... She wouldn't. I stood up and glared at Tamaki from the corner of my eyes.
"You know what, Tamaki?" I muttered, smiling grimly. I pressed down on my uniform and brushed any dust off of it. "I just love how you try and push my buttons whenever you have the chance..."
The corner of his lips twitched downwards upon this. He knew I was right. I was on to him.
"Ever since she died and left me alone, you've been nothing but an asshole!" I seethed out, baring my teeth at him. "What have I done to you? Nothing, right! Yet you treat me like crap because-"
He shut his eyes.
"--of a girl--"
He took a deep breath and stuck his chin up high.
"--who I knew loved me for a fact--"
Tamaki frowned.
"--died?!" I concluded, pure anger and hate seeping out of my words.
His frown deepened and I could see that he was starting to get very uncomfortable with the words I was saying. That didn't mean I was going to stop, however. No. I was only going to speak even more. I was going to show him the real me; the part of me that would not stand to the side and let him rule over me. He wasn't the King anymore. I smirked and leaned close to his ear.
"Tamaki-senpai... Your time as King is over." I whispered, causing him to shiver underneath me.
I backed away and walked towards the exit. But before I left, I took one last glance at Tamaki.
A smirk found it's way to my lips, "You're about to be overruled."

With that Kaoru walked out of the Host Club doors. This was his sign of rebellion. The rebellion against the Host Club that is. This was war.
A war between Kaoru and the Host Club.
He wouldn't show fear any longer. He would show them where they belonged. He would show them no mercy. Kaoru had enough of the nonsense thrown at him at a daily basis.
He was done.
She wasn't dead. Tomoyo just had to be alive. Why else would the one who managed the cemetery deny Kaoru from viewing her corpse? Was there even a corpse to start with? He had the right to view the corpse (if there was one) seeing that he had received permission from Mori.
No matter what was going on, Kaoru was suspicious. He was onto her trail. Something wasn't right. There was just that slight feeling of unease when it came to discussing her death with others. It didn't feel right. Why?
Because she couldn't be dead!
She was out there somewhere waiting for him. Or so he thought... At this moment of time, anything could be possible. There was no evidence on Tomoyo being alive. There wasn't a single thing. However, that didn't bring Kaoru down. This only encouraged him even further to find out what really happened to the love of his life.
She was out there and he knew it. Nothing would change him from thinking that. Still, that faint thought of her actually being buried 15ft underground was there.
Kaoru smirked and ran a hand through his hair, 'I'm coming for you, Tomoyo! I know you're out there someone. I just need some sort of sign...anything really. Just give me a sign already!'
He smiled and pushed through the schools doors, breathing in the fresh hair that hit him in the face. He looked up at the sky and shut his eyes.
'It's about time you came back...'
