46 Last Part
Part 46 Last part
Aman looked at Arnav and Shyam not getting anything.
"Why are you guys laughing at him?" NK asked.
"We have finished everything but he is still standing in the starting point," Shyam said.
"What are you talking about?" Aman asked.
"Akash is gone," Shyam said.
"Where did he go?" NK asked confusingly.
"He went from the world..." Arnav smiled.
"What do you mean ASR?"
"Akash is dead... Daniel finished his story."
"Really? When? How?" NK howled.
"Yesterday night."
"Why didn't you guys called us?"
"We were not in the condition of waking you guys because you were selling hours sincerely." Shyam teased him.
"But how did it happen? Didn't the president say anything? He usually talks a lot..." NK asked.
"The young man saved the day," Shyam said.
"Whaat! The young man came?"
"Yeah..."
"Ohh, God... I have missed him..." NK said disappointedly.
"Don't worry. He will come to Arnav's marriage... he promised..." Shyam said.
"Really?" NK asked curiously.
"Yup..."
"Where are you going now?"
"To do marriage arrangements..." Said Arnav.
"Arrey, you are the Groom. You just sit quietly. We will do the arrangements." Aman said.
"Yeah... we will do." NK joined him.
Except for Arnav all of them finished the arrangements including Daniel.
Arnav was ready. He was curious to see Khushi. How would she be in the Bridal look? He was waiting for her on the stage. She came to the stage in a golden color bridal outfit.
As he promised, the young man not only took part in the marriage but also acted as a Pandit. He was the one who officially announced them as husband and wife. They took blessings from Garima. Garima took them to her house. Without showing any difference, Arnav accepted her invitation.
Arnav's friends arranged for their first night in Garima's place. They did that all the way teasing Arnav.
"ASR... don't overreact... I agree your desire is for births... consider poor Khushi." Aman pulled his leg.
Arnav rolled his eyes.
"You just stop blabbering... I will take care of everything."
"Let's go guys, don't test Arnav's patience." Shyam stood saying that.
"Arrey, how could we leave him alone? ASR has to wait outside until the bride enters the room. We should accompany him till then." Aman said.
"Ok... let's go out."
They came to the backyard and waited there with Arnav. A few village women got Khushi ready and dropped her in the room. One among them called Arnav.
"You can go..." She said blushingly.
Aman chuckled and whispered,
"All the best ASR..."
Arnav nodded his head left and right sighing. Aman was not wrong. His waiting is going to come to an end. He went to the room and saw Khushi sitting on the bed, covering her face by the Veil.
Arnav came and sat beside her.
"Should I remove it?" He asked lovingly.
Khushi nodded yes. Arnav lifted the veil smilingly. Khushi pressed her lips together, bowing down blushing.
"Should I remove the blush too?" He asked lifting her chin.
Khushi leaned on his chest in shyness.
"Khush..."
"Mmm?"
"Finally..."
"What?"
"We became husband and wife."
She nodded yes.
"But not yet completely..." he winked.
Khushi buried her face in his chest again. Raising her chin, Arnav caressed his cheek with hers. Even though it was a soft caress their cheeks acted like flintstones. Fire sparkled in that touch. To put the fire off... to cool their body... they shared their body heat with one another. In the few minutes, their waiting for births got over. They became one... they became husband and wife in every sense. With the same satisfaction, they slept in one another's arms.
The next morning
"Khushi, come on. I have to show you something." Arnav called her.
"What Aru?"
"Let's go."
"Where?"
"Come. You will get to know that."
Clutching her hand, he started walking.
"Amma, we will be back soon," Khushi said while following Arnav.
Arnav took her somewhere. He stood at the place beside NK's land.
"Do you like this place?"
Khushi got confused.
"Haannn... but why are you asking this to me?"
"We are going to buy this land."
"But why?" she asked shockingly.
"Don't we need a place to live?"
"But..."
"I resigned from the job."
"Whaaat? But why?"
"I have handed Akash's property to the president and asked him to use them for the village's improvement. He agreed to build a hospital and a library. I have bought this land from him to build a house for us. And I and Aman have been gotten Akash's land for lease."
"For what?"
"I and Aman are going to do agriculture with morden technology."
"Means, are we going to stay here...? We are not going to leave this village?" She asked excitedly.
"Yeah... we like this village. So, we decided to settle down here."
Khushi hugged him tightly.
"You are so sweet, Arnavji. You know I don't like to leave this village."
"I know... That's why I have decided this." Arnav smiled.
"How do you know?"
"Your friend Preeto told..."
Cutting him,
"...you?"
"No. She told Aman."
"But..."
"Aman is settling down here for her."
"You mean?"
"Yeah, they like each other."
"But Preeto said nothing to me."
"How could she say when your condition was hard?"
Khushi nodded yes.
"But Arnavji, what do you know about agriculture? It's very hard Arnavji..."
"At the beginning, I know nothing about archeology too. I learned it slowly. Likewise, I will learn everything. Adding to it, you are also with me..."
"Are you doing this for me?"
Arnav nodded yes.
"I can't believe this... Arnavji..."
"We got this birth after a long wait. I don't know whether we will get another. I don't want it to be with dissatisfaction. If you want to be in your village then I have no problem. I too like this village. After all, this is my village in the last birth..."
"Let's go. Amma will be happy if she gets to know about this."
"She already knew."
"Whaaat? When did you say?"
"I didn't say anything but the president. I know she is hesitating to come with us to Delhi. She was telling Preeto's mother that she doesn't want to come with us. Leaving her alone here, how will you be happy with me?"
"She must be happy."
"Are not you?"
"Sooooo much..." She spread her hands wide.
"Do you like this place?"
She nodded yes. They saw Shyam and Aman coming with NK taking Shyam's bags.
"I'm leaving Arnav," Shyam said.
"Shyam is going back as our chief called him back. (Arnav said to Khushi.) Keep in touch." He requested Shyam.
Shyam nodded ok.
"Bye Khushi. Wish you a happy married life."
"Visit us often."
Shyam nodded his head affirmatively.
"I and NK are going to send off Shyam in the railway station."
Arnav nodded ok.
They started, walking recalling the stunts they did in the village. Arnav and Khushi stood there seeing their retreating figures. Khushi leaned on his shoulder and Arnav kissed her hair lovingly. May God bless them to be happy... forever...
