Part 33 Unbelievable Decision

Akash came to Arnav's room to know the reason for his back off. He saw him eating with Shyam and Aman. The inspector and NK were also sitting with them. Seeing the inspector, Akash jolted a little. All of them looked at him and he smiled at them hesitatingly.

"Come on Akash. Would you like to have breakfast with us?" Arnav asked casually.

"No... no thanks. I want to talk to you." Akash said.

"Yeah... tell me."

Akash looked at the inspector hesitatingly.

"I'm leaving..." The inspector said understanding his uneasiness.

"I too have some urgent work." NK also left with the inspector.

"Tell me, what do you want to speak?"

"Why didn't you take Khushi with you?"

"I thought about taking her with me well. I don't think it's a good idea."

"But why?" Akash asked disappointedly.

"It won't look good to elope with a girl who is engaged to someone. It's not our culture you know?"

Akash was stunned. What happened to him all of a sudden? Did he sit under the BODHI tree that he is talking like a saint?

"But you were ok with that idea yesterday?"

"My mind didn't work at that time. When I thought with my cool mind, I understood how pathetic it would be. Just think about Khushi's mother... how low does she feel? And more than that, she is ought to marry you as you got engaged to her. She belongs to you now."

"Did you say that to Khushi?"

"Yes... I said that."

"When did you say?" Akash asked as he knew they didn't meet yesterday night.

"Last night."

"Did you go to Khushi's house?"

"No, she came here as per your plan..." Arnav said coolly.

"Is it?"

Akash was shocked. How did his men miss to see Khushi? How? Had they slept? No way. But Khushi was really angry with Arnav and Arnav's statement matches with Khushi's reaction. Useless fellows... they should have slept last night. He became furious.

"Yeah, and I told her my decision."

"What did she say?"

"She cursed me." Arnav said sadly.

"I'm sorry..."

That's ok. It's my fate to be cursed by the girl who I liked..."

"What did she say?" Akash was curious yet he didn't' show it.

"She said, I should rot in hell."

"She wouldn't have expected such a decision from you."

"Yes...she didn't."

"Poor she..." Akash said feeling happy inwardly.

"She will be alright if you get married to her."

"But how would she marry me with your memories?"

"Yeah... she can't. For that, I have been decided something."

"What?" Akash couldn't hold his curiosity.

"I'm leaving this village...forever."

"Really?"

"yeah... I have spoken to my senior officer. He accepted my request as someone is interested to come to this village."

"Ohh..."

"Yeah..."

"When is he coming?" Akash didn't ask, "When will you leave?"

"Tomorrow or over morrow."

"Khushi will be broken down if she gets to know about it."

"I have no choice. Who knows, even my mind may change if I stay here."

Akash looked at him shockingly.

"That's why I'm leaving this village."

Akash nodded ok.

"I know you will take care of Khushi and will make her forget me."

"I...."

"You will... my wishes to your wedding."

"Thanks."

"When is your marriage?"

Akash remembered what he said to his mother, "After Payal's first year death anniversary only I will get married." he sighed inwardly.

"After one year."

"But why?" Arnav asked worriedly.

"Khushi needs time to change her mind." he plastered a smile.

"That's a good idea."

Akash nodded yes and left the place. He was happy yet confused. He couldn't believe at the same time he couldn't be without believing. He would have fired all the workers for not to be alert if Arnav had not decided to leave the village.

The biggest problem is going to be solved. Without taking Arnav's life, his desire is going to be fulfilled. Akash floated in the dream. He came to Khushi's house with the same excitement. She was cooking. Akash came to her, making a sad face. Without speak to him, she was doing her work.

"I didn't expect Arnav would play with you, Khushi."

"I don't want to hear anything about him." she yelled.

"I can understand, Khushi..."

"You can't... In fact, no one can..."

"I'm sorry Khushi..."

"What's your mistake in that? Why do you sorry?"

"Because I failed to make your wish come true." He said as if he is willing to get them married.

"I too failed to understand him. He denied marrying me, giving the silly excuse of our engagement."

"Don't feel bad Khushi..."

"I'm not feeling bad. In fact, I feel happy as I got to know about him soon."

Akash sighed in relief.

Garima came there looking at them perplexed. Just an hour ago, Akash came here. Why does he come here again?

"What happened Damadji?"

"Oh... Arnav is leaving the village."

"Whaaat? Why?" Garima couldn't believe it.

"As we got engaged, he doesn't want to think of Khushi anymore."

"He seems a good man." Garima said with a smile. her smile got vanished when she saw Khushi with wrathful expression.

"Damadji... he gave eighty-five thousand for my operation..." she said hesitatingly.

Before Akash said anything,

"So what if he spent money? You don't have to return it. Let it be." Khushi said angrily.

Akash and Garima spared a glance at each other. Khushi went inside.

"I'm leaving." Akash left the house.

Garima was dumbfounded, seeing Khushi's sudden outburst as she knew the reason.

Arnav met the president of the village and told him that he is relieving.

"Only two of them will be here?" the president asked.

"No... someone will be sent in a day or two."

"Ohh... ok..."

"I'm taking your leave. Bye."

"Welcome."

Shyam and Aman took Arnav's bag and started walking. Arnav followed them. The matter spread all over the village. Why not, if a handsome man leaves the village forever? Akash saw the scene and he felt like hopping from earth to sky. The biggest barrier of his life is removed from his life.

The inspector shook hand with Arnav.

"When Ankit Chowdry is coming?" Daniel asked.

"He will be here tomorrow." Arnav replied.

"We will be waiting."

"Yeah..."

Aman hugged Arnav.

"Take care ASR."

"Yeah... you too."

"Sure."

Taking the bags, Arnav got on the train. Aman, Shyam, NK, and Daniel waved their hand and Arnav reciprocated them. The train started moving and Akash's man headed to convey the CONFIRMED message to Akash.
