After bidding bye to her family, Chahat and Agastya sits in the car.

The route from her house to his, was short, almost of 15 minutes, but it seemed really long to him,

Agastya sat in the back seat near her, silently, still not believing what happened few hours back.

He was shocked and sad, he wasn't ready to be married specially to someone who wasn't his partner, how could he accept a bride that was never meant to be his.

When they reached, no one was there to welcome them, Chahat chuckle at this, how easily people can change their colour, just few days ago they all were so happy, but now? They are not even going to welcome her.

Shaking her hand, she steps out of the car, and then starts walking to the entrance, it was a small house with four rooms.

"That's my... Our room" He told her, pointing towards the left room.

When she saw the room, she was shocked, it was a small room, you literally could describe it as a storeroom.

She looked around it, she wasn't uncomfortable in it, she grew up in a small 2 bedroom house, she had to share the room with her brother for so many years, so now these things didn't bother her.

But she saw Naina and Ayaansh's room, they where bigger, nothing compared to this.

"Are these yours?" She asks him pointing at the doll house, which was on the upper shelf.
"Umm no it's Naina's, she doesn't play with it anymore." He said adjusting his bed, and keeping  books and papers on the small study table.

"And this?" She asks again referring at the 2-3 boxes of weighted blankets, he looks at her and then at the blankets and shook his head in no.

"And I assume that everything kept on this shelf, are either your sister's, your brother's, or parents, am I right"
She was clearly annoyed, and when she saw him nodding her anger reached the peak.

"Why are their things present here? This is your room, not a store room, and how can you live in such a small room, you can't even call this a room" She uttered angrily.

"I know, I'm sorry, I know that you would be uncomfortable here, do you want me to book a hotel? You can sleep there for umm tonight" He nervously said taking his phone out of his pocket,to book a room.

"No... " She interrupts him, sighing in annoyance "it's not because of that, I'm not uncomfortable, just tell me where the washroom is so I can change this"

He told her that it was outside, on the right, opening her luggage she took out a long black nightie, and went to change.

Just as she went he took a big sigh and sat on the bed, there was something about her that made him a nervous wreck.

He look around his room, he lived here since forever so he didn't find it that small, but if compared to other rooms in this house, than his definitely was. The smallest one.

"Where is she going to sleep? " He thought looking at his room, there wasn't a sofa here, just a queen sized bed , a vanity table, a small closet and a study table.

He was thinking this when she enters the room "go and change, than let's sleep" She said going to the left side of the bed.

When he returned, he found her sleeping on the bed, with an arm around her eyes.

He looks here and there, to see where he could sleep.
"Just come and fucking sleep Agastya, and turn off the light." He hear her murmuring, after switching of the light he starts taking slow steps towards the bed.

After laying on the right side, he started gazing the roof blankly, wishing that sleep would consume him, making his racing thought come to stop.

He looks at his left, where he found her sleeping peacefully, making him sigh.

After some time when he realized, that he wouldn't get any sleep tonight, he got up and went to his study table, and with the help of the lamp he started reading the test paper, to avoid thinking about everything that happened.

It was 6'o clock when Chahat wakes up from her sleep only to find Agastya sleeping while sitting on the chair , shaking her head she stands up from the bed and taking her office outfit, she went to fresh up.

She enters the room wearing a black formal suit with dark red heels, and she notices that he was awake, taking his clothes out of the closet.

When he turns around, he found her her looking at him, without saying anything to her he steps out of the room, leaving her standing there.

"Kaha jaa rahi ho?" I hear my dear saasuma, Sunita Raghuvanshi speaking,I look back at her and point at myself, as if asking if she was talking to me.

"Yes, you... Subha subha kaha jaa rahi ho? " She asks again, her arms folded around her chest.
"Well, saasuma, I have a company to run, so just going there to do my CEO job" I smile at her and begin walking to the exit.

"Ruko, it's your first day as a daughter in law, are you not going to perform any ritual, go and prepare something sweet"  She exclaimed, and when she notices her husband coming out of the room she told me "but before that, go and prepare Chai for your father in law."

I laugh at that, amused by her words "look patidev, what your mum is saying" I look at Agastya who came out wearing white shirt and beige pants, he looks at me confused.

I go to him, standing beside, I face him tilting my head a little, since he was taller than me.

I tilt my head a little so I could see him and say, "Your mum is so funny Agastya, and no one ever told me that!" I laugh, enjoying the moment. "Will you repeat the joke, saasuma, or should I?" I turn to her with a smile. "Patidev, your mum wants me to perform the after-wedding rituals, pehli rasoi and all," I chuckle, but then my laughter fades as I shift to a serious expression. "But when me and my husband came here yesterday, no one was here to welcome us. No ghar pravesh, end everything that is done to welcome newly wedded couples! didn't you remember these so-called rituals then. Now look at you; Your family insulted me yesterday not once but twice—and you think I will forget that and act like a perfect daughter in law, galat fehmi hai aapko SAA-SU-MA,I don't forget nor I forgive." I tell her firmly before proceeding to go to the office.

I was checking some files when my phone rings, noticing that it was my brother I accept the call.

"Hello" I greet him keeping my phone on speaker.
"Not even a day has passed and you've forgotten us" He said, skipping the greeting part, I rolled my eyes "it's nothing like this bhai,why have you called, is everyone okay?" I ask him keeping my file aside.

"Well, I'm coming to pick you up" He said making me confuse.
"Kiyu?" I ask.
"Mum said that it's a rasam to bring newly wedded wife to home, and it's typically done by her brother,and then the husband comes to take her back "

"Well I didn't inform anyone at home, not even Agastya and I don't even have his number" I tell him and he sighs.
"Don't worry, I have his number, I'll inform him to come and take you later today, just be ready I almost reached your office" Saying this he cut the call making me annoyed.
Keeping my files aside, I stand up from the chair and after taking my belongings I step out of my office room.

"I missed you" Bhabhi hugged me after I enter home. I smile hugging her back.

Going inside I sit on the sofa, while mum bought me water.

"Kesa hai sabh" Dad asked sitting in front of me, I gulp the water and look at him, faking a smile I said "it's fine dad, umm not what I expected but can't complaint"

"Agastya kesa hai" Bhai asked "ek din mai kese jaan sakti hu? I didn't talk to him much, we were so tired that we slept" I tell making them nod.

"Your in-laws? " This time it was bhabhi who asked me this.
"I don't know... " I sigh "they were so happy, they treated me nice, but suddenly they are changed"

My mum held my hand and looks at me "what about... Ayaansh?" Right, how can I forget him, he is the main reason for everything.

I shrug my shoulder "didn't see him today, must be somewhere whoring around"

"I don't like agastya" Bhai said.
"Kyu usne aab kiya kardia" I ask
"I just don't like him, he is Ayaansh's brother how could you marry him? And he is not even well settled. Koi secure naukri nahi hai, kese sambhale ga tumko?" He said looking annoyed.

"Bhai, don't Overthink okay. Ayaansh ka bhai hai, that doesn't mean that he'll be like him, and he has a job, he teaches in Calgary's best university. Not as rich as his other family member I agree, but at least he has a job. And I can take care of myself really nicely " I say the last line rolling my eyes.

"I know, just... I don't know, just promise me if he misbehaves with you, you'll leave him and come to me, to us okay?" He comes closer to me, sitting on his knees and holding my hand.
"I'll kill him, if he ever thought of misbehaving, and of course this is my home, jaha bhi jau, wapis to yaha hi aana hai"

"Leave this, let's eat" Mum stand up, and went to bring the lunch.

"Agastya sir, why were you absent for some days" A student asked me, I stop writing on the board and turn to her "I had some personal business to do, that's why" I smile at then and begin to write some sums, after I was done writing I sit on my chair, and take their exam papers out of my bag.

"Students stop whatever you are doing and listen to me okay, so I was reading your exam papers, and I gave you marks as well. There are students who did a really good job while there are some who.... Well let's say invented the answers."

I take the first paper "Carla" I look at the crowd of students and my gaze fell on the girl who raised her hand, I gesture her to come here, and she did.

"This is your mark" I point at the number 87% "you did nice, these where your mistakes and you left this question. We'll see this after, okay?I will call someone to do this" I tell her and she nod.

When she went to her place I called others, and than finally I reached to the best one. "Maansi" I called looking at the front desk, she comes to me.

"You got full marks"  I smile at her, she returns that expression, and adjusted her hair.

"Thanks sir".

"Moritz you got 20%" I tell him and he smiles at that.
"Not something to be proud of. You are the only one that got this low.you wrote answers completely opposite to the questions,as if someone's asking you what's your name,and instead of responding Moritz you say I'm 25" I explain him and he nod going back to his seat.

"Students open your physics book, we are going to start biological physics, does someone know about this?"  I ask and as expected I was met with silence.

A message pops up on my phone, it was Eeshan, Chahat's brother.

Chahat is at my house for pagphera, come at 8 to take her back, it's a part of the ritual.

Writing an Okay I turn towards my students.

"Biological physics is the study of living organisms using the tools and techniques of physics. It's an interdisciplinary field that combines biology, physics, math, chemistry, and computer modeling to understand how biological systems work"

"It can be difficult, but we'll work hard, because on your finals you may get some questions."

After a long time I've updated this book.
