Douglass is a good kid all around, he doesn't have many friends but tries to be Oliver's as best he can. He can be a little nieve at times but only ever has good intentions. He likes to listen to heavy metal and punk music but also has a huge soft spot for romantic comedy movies. He really likes kind people and has a tendency to develop crushes on just about any girl that is nice to him. He even used to have a crush on Oliver!
Douglass's dad is a coworker of Oliver's Dad, Jon and Douglass shows some mild interest in what they do at the lab, mostly to impress others but also as a source of pride. His family isn't wealthy, and his dad works non sto on projects in effort to get more funding, but the recent divorce between his parents really took a financial toll. Douglass is a very talkative kid, and will tell you just about everything so he is particularly bad at keeping secrets, especially if it's a stress inducing kind.
