We all put our helmets back on and marched to the transport ship, our guns raised. I stepped onto the on-ramp with my metal boot before heading towards the door leading inside of the ship. I look back and nodded towards the others before pressing the door's control panel making it slide open.

I rush in checking both corners in lighting succession. "Clear!" I yelled to the others, they rushed in behind me and fanned out in the quite large hallway.

"Jackson, take the right with Flex. Me, Andrews, and Blacklight will take left."

"Got it," Jackson said heading down the right of the hallway.

"Sir, why do you have to use Blacklight as my name?"

"Cause Blacklight is intimidating, Paul is boring and unintimidating," I said to him.

"Yeah I guess," Paul said checking a room.

"Jackson, come in Jackson, we are making our way to the bridge, over."

"Copy Winters, Flex and I and investigating the living quarters, no contact yet, over."

"Understood Jackson, radio in once you find something over and out."

"Copy sir, over and out."

"Andrews, Blacklight, get ready to enter the bridge," I said stacking up against the door. "On 3, 3...2...1... Go Go Go!" I yelled opening the door and rushing in behind Andrews and Blacklight.

I scanned the room looking for any signs of life but the bridge was dark. The flight controls were dark, the lights were off and everything seemed cold an eerie cold.

"Where is everybody," Blacklight asked, switching on his helmet's flashlight and shined it across the room.

"Jackson, the bridge is dark, what is your situation, over." All I hear was static. Frowning I tried again, "Jackson, report in," still just static.

"Shit, Andrews, Blacklight, Flex and Jackson might be in trouble form up on me and let's go find them."

We walked back the way we came heading right. We came to a door that was cracked open, I motioned to it with my head, signaling the others. I raise my gun and kick the door in. Blacklight behind me shined his flashlight into the dark room.

There were beds and lockers lining the room, but at the far end of the room, a bed was upturned. I pointed at it and Blacklight swung his light over it. I saw a pool of liquid on the ground around the bed. "Gun's ready," I said walking slowly towards the bed.

Once I got to it, I looked over the bed and saw a mess of flesh and clothing, I nearly retched in my helmet as I back away. Andrews came up to help me but I waved him away. Regaining some of my composer I looked back at the mess and noticed the Korean flag on the pile of flesh's clothing. "Not one of ours," I breathed in relief.

"Do you think Jackson or Flex did this?" Blacklight asked.

"No way, this is completely against protocol. And we all know Flex." I said turning away from the mess.

"Then what could've down that?" Andrews asked.

"I don't know, I don't really want to find out. Something is off with this ship. Let's go find Jackson and Flex and get the hell off of this ship."

We walked out of the room, leaving the pile of flesh stinking in the corner. I spotted another door further down the hallway and went up to it, I tried the door panel but it was locked. There was a small window on the door, so I peered through it looking for any signs of life. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I called to Andrews to open the door when a face suddenly slammed against the door making me jump back and raising my gun.

The face began slammed its head on the glass window. A small crack formed as the thing slammed harder. Panicked I looked over to Andrews and Blacklight but they were frozen too. The glass finally broke and the face behind it let out a horrific scream. A sound no human or animal should ever make. Without thinking I shot a single bullet into its throat.

The creature looked down at the hole in its throat and just screamed louder. It started hitting the metal door, making it shake with every hit. "Open fire, open fire," I yelled not knowing what t do. Andrews and Blacklight light the window up. Shooting as many bullets as they can into the creature behind it.

They stopped firing and we say as the creature slumped against the door its face, or what was left of it, hung out of the window. It was dead. I looked to the others before slowly approaching the creature. Its skin was a dark blue and rotting. Its teeth were a tint of red and make sharper and longer than that of a normal human's.

"What the hell is that sir," Andrews asked loading a new magazine into his gun.

"I don't know, whatever it is it's wearing a Korean uniform. I am going to get a sample of it, so Alice can scan it," I said scraping part of the creature's skin into a small glass container.

"Alice, I need you to scan this," I said locking the container into an import point on my suit.

"Right away Jim," Alice said's her face appearing in the bottom of my helmet.

"Andrews, Jackson, there are unknown hostiles on this ship, set guns to kill," I said to the others. "I am going to try to radio the bridge."

"Got it, sir, we'll cover you," Blacklight said turning to the hallway.

"Come in Bridge. This is Sgt Winters, we are aboard a Korean transport ship with an unknown creature on board, do you read."

"We copy you Winters. What do you mean creature? Over," bridge responded.

"I don't know bridge, it looks like some mutated human. It has dark blue skin that's rotting and long and sharp teeth. Anything in our databases about it?"

"One moment Winters. No, we have no record of any such creature. We need you on the bridge as soon as possible. We need to discuss a plan of defense. Copy that?"

"Yes command, once we find our other member of our squad we will make way to you, over and out."

"Over and out," bridge responded as the link went dead.

"We have orders to regroup back at the bridge once we find Jackson and Flex," I said turning to the other.

"Yes-" A loud inhuman scream was heard down the hallway, and the lights shut off, plunging us into darkness, the screaming getting closer.
