Jungkook left almost immediately after taking in his surroundings. You didn't stop him. Shrugging to his words of leaving, seeing that there was nothing wrong with it.
He was doing you a favor anyway. After literally humping you last night, you don't think you'd want to see his face for the time being.
But before he left, you did manage to catch him mutter about 'ending' something, under his breath. It was inaudible, and just when you were about to ask him,the sound of the door closing resonates the empty place.
-
Leeyoung lunges unto you, her sobs reaching your ears as she tightens her hug around you.
You scrunch your nose in confusion wondering why your sister's suddenly shedding tears as if she just had her heart broken for the first time by her first love?
"Y-y/n." She chokes. You don't say anything, returning back the hug as you gently caress her back. "Let it all out first." You spoke softly, leading her towards your livingroom after closing your door shut.
The girl continues to cry as she painfully spills out her reasons. You kept quiet, taking in everything she was saying, anger boiling within you as her words reaches your ears.
You can't believe it.
You can't believe...him.
You try your best to occupy her mind with stuffs other than her harsh break up with Jungkook.
She's able to pull out a smile for you, but you knew her better than anyone. The minute you close the door of your guest room, you knew she'd start crying again. Just the thought of it made you wanna punch something. More like it made you wanna punch him for hurting your sister like that.
-
Next morning finally arrives. It was Sunday, meaning you didn't have to go to work.
Last night's event really pissed you off. You literally couldn't sleep a wink, your sisters words hitting you hard like a truck.
You find yourself standing infront of his porch, your fingers tapping his doorbell non stop. Knowing Jungkook, he was probably still asleep, but you'd care less about ruining the sleep you knew he deserved, staying up all night to finish up some paperworks for his company and all.
The perfect mohagony creaks open, revealing the man with droopy eyes. He still had his bed hair on, proving that your assumption was right.
"Y/n?"
The man rubs his eyes, as he widens the opening of the door. When his vision finally turns vivid, he widens his eyes.
"Y/n!"
With gritted teeth, you stepped in, making your way towards his livingroom.
"We need talk Jeon."
The man's left confused for a second, but when the memory of what he did yesterday flashes his head. He rolls his eyes.
-
"Listen. If you're here to talk me about getting together again with Leeyoung, then you're just wasting your time."
After all this years of her showering him with nothing but love. Is this how he repays her? Did he even truly love her? Why on earth did he propose to her in the first place if it wasn't for love?!
His face turns to the side, the tingles lingering his cheek vibrating his whole body.
You slapped him.
He deserved it.
"How could you."
You couldn't help it. The image of your sister crying herself to sleep, weakened you.
You hated seeing her like that. So vulnerable.
"How could you do this to her."
The man grits his teeth, before turning to face you again, his cheek red from the delivered slap.
"I don't love her. I never did anyway." He mutters the last part, before passing you to take a seat on the couch.
"What do you mean you don't love her?" You turn to face him, hands balled up into a fist as you glare down at the man. "Do you even realize how hurt she was?! Did you even love her?!"
The man frustratedly slides his fingers through his hair, before standing up to hover over your figure. "No I didn't Y/n."
You slapped him again. "You're a liar. Why'd you propose to her then uh? Tell me!"
"I was forced to okey!"
You froze. He was forced? Forced by who?
You're too overwhelmed with the anger rushing within you, to even notice the tear that had escaped his eyes a while ago.
Jungkook takes in a deep breath, and before you knew it.
He engulfs you into a hug.
You struggle to remove yourself, his grip only tightening as you go on.
"Let go of me!"
He doesn't, holding unto you even more, as if you'd fly away if he were to let go.
"I never loved her Y/n. Believe me."
The crack in his voice made you once again freeze. Even if you couldn't see him, judging by the sound of his voice. You knew he was crying.
When he notices you stop struggling, he rests his chin on your head, his grip on you still firm.
"The engagement party was just an act for the public. My parents company was about to go downhill, if it weren't for your family. "He releases a trembling sigh before going on. "They suggested the whole relationship. Faking it with the public....and you. Their thoughts suddenly came to a change, thinking that me and Leeyoung were really in love. I couldn't go behind my father when he told me to propose to her."
He pulls back, locking gazes with you. A weak smile forms on his lips as he cups your cheeks. "Do you know how broken I was at that time? I had to show my love at someone who wasn't even a tad close from stealing my heart."
He lets his arms drop, slowly circling your waist, before pulling you closer to him.
"Do you want to know who's had my heart all this time?" He whispers, pulling you close, eyes turning serious as he leans in.
"It's you Y/n. You stole my heart, and I'm not expecting you to return it anytime soon."
