TAEYONG arrived home, slowly but surely he walked in his small apartment and went to his room. He didn't know why, or how Jaehyun said such harshful things to him just moments ago. His words rang in Taeyongs mind as he sat on his bed. He thought about how Jaehyun told him he was 'beautiful' and how he would compliment him everyday. Taeyong couldn't bring himself to believe it was all lies, he was in denial. Jaehyun was suppose to be the one, and yet he wasn't.
Taeyong should've known, and he should've listened to his instinct whenever they told him Jaehyun was bad news. He should've told Jaehyun 'no' that night, he shouldn't of gotten up with such joy that morning. He shouldn't of done any of it, and yet he did, and in the end he was lied too.
In the end it was all lies. In the end he was betrayed, and left alone to survive in the world. Again. A face flashed in Taeyongs mind, and he almost flinched at it. He could feel a shiver run down his spine, and he gritted his teeth not so tightly.
How could he have been so fooled so easily? It was all games, the smiles, the laughs, the love. It was all just one big game to everyone, and Taeyong was the toy. He was the prize everyone won in the end and didn't want. How could he have been so stupid to let his heart open again.
"Daddy?" A voice rings from beyond the door as Taeyong snaps his head up, and it slowly opens to reveal a tired looking boy.
"Jisung, what are you doing up?" Taeyong whispers, and he didn't mean to sound so strict but he did.
"When the door closed it woke me." Jisung explains quietly, walking towards his father.
Taeyong watches as his son climbs onto his bed, and sits next to him. Silence filled around them as Taeyong didn't know what to say, he felt a sudden urge though to just tell Jisung everything.
"Jaehyuns not coming over anymore, is he?" Jisung asks with sadness toned in his voice.
"No. . He's not." Taeyong whispers, staring down at the floor below where he sat.
Taeyong then looks over at Jisung, and stares at his helplessly. How stupid of him to think that he could take care of a human being, non the less alone. No help, no money, no relationship. He had everything he didn't want.
"Jisung go pack, your gonna stay at Doyoungs for awhile." Taeyong says, and brings a hand up to tame his sons soft hair.
Jisung looks up with big doe eyes and he pouts, almost pleading with his face to take back the words Taeyong just said.
"I don't wanna go daddy, I wanna stay here. With you." Jisung pleads softly, and he comes close as wraps his tiny arms around Taeyong.
Taeyong felt tears brim his eyes slowly, and he curses in his mind. He couldn't keep his son halfway happy most of the time from the trauma he's been through. It was the only way for Jisung not to see his one side he hated most. Taeyong wraps his thin arms around the other boy, feeling the other almost shake in his grasp.
"Please Jisung, don't fight with me. It won't be long, I promise." Taeyong knew he couldn't promise it, but he did anyway.
He knew it would be long, it would almost be a round two. Only this time it was him against himself, and he only knew one way how to stop it. That way was always risky, always a failure, and he would've kept on doing it if it wasn't for Doyoung. He wouldn't tell Doyoung this time however, and gave up on trying to get help because it seemed nothing was working to fix him. He was alone now, and he knew Jisung would be too if he kept on like this.
"Lets go pack love." Taeyong whispers, and takes Jisungs hand in his as he upwraps his arms around him. He then gets off the bed, and Jisung follows closely behind.
Taeyong could feel the small hand grab a fist full of his clothing, and he didn't mind as he knew the other was scared of departure.
They walked to Jisungs room, and Jisung packed his things one by one with the help of Taeyong. Taeyong felt tired by the time they got to the car, and put Jisungs tiny backpack in there. Doyoungs had clothes for Jisung already since he came over a lot, and Taeyong had to admit the boy didn't have much even at his own home. Another burden to hold on his heavy shoulders.
Driving to Doyoungs was silent, and Taeyong almost felt the need to say something to his child. Yet here he was, deciding wether he should comfort the other or let the silence run on in peace.
"Daddy, are you going to be okay?" Jisung breaks the ice as he asks his question slowly.
"Yes Jisung, and if you want to know all you have to do is call me from Doyoungs phone." Taeyong explains softly.
"Ok." Jisung says.
Pulling into Doyoungs driveway, Taeyong looks over to Jisung, who is looking straight back at him.
"I don't want to go, I don't want to leave daddy." Jisungs voice shake, and Taeyong sees his big eyes get glossy.
"Jisung no baby, it's going to be okay." Taeyong says and gathers the smaller in a hug. Jisung immediately hugging back his father tightly.
"I love you." Taeyong says, and pulls away as he cups his sons face. Wiping away the hot tears from his small face, Taeyong gives a soft smile.
"I love you too daddy." Jisung chokes on a small sob.
They both get out of the car. Jisung is quick to rush over to his father, and take his hand in his small one. Arriving to the door, Taeyong knocks and not a moment later he hears noises inside the house. The door is unlocked and it flies open revealing a tired Doyoung.
"Taeyong? What happened?" Doyoung asks.
"I need Jisung to stay with you for awhile. ." Taeyong trails off, staring at the other in plead.
Doyoungs picked up on this quickly, and nodded as he understood. He then looked down at Jisung, who was clinging closely to his father.
"Go ahead Jisung." Taeyong whispers as he looks down. He then kneels down, and they give each other a quick hug. "I'll see you soon baby." Taeyong says under his breath.
Jisung nods, and slowly makes his way in past Doyoung. Doyoung then looks up to Taeyong, and furrows his eyebrows.
"Don't do anything stupid Taeyong, I'm always here if you need support." Doyoung says.
"I won't, I just need some time." Taeyong lies.
"I'll take care of him, and while I'm at it take care of yourself." Doyoung says, and Taeyong nods.
"I will. Thanks Doyoung." Taeyong says his final goodbye, and they both leave as they go their separate ways.
Doyoungs being inside his home, and going to comfort Jisung who is sulking on his couch.
Taeyongs was his own home, letting the dark consume him as he lies in bed hopelessly. Feeling all his burdens take weigh on his shoulders, and he's never felt so heavy. He's never felt so empty and so known to his own well being that he's so tired.
He closes his eyes slowly, and lets exhaustion get the better of him as he falls asleep. His dreams filed with the crawling of his burdens.
"Your stupid for it."
Jaehyun grits his teeth, and he puts his hand through his hair in frustration.
"You said that line already, and it's not helping." Jaehyun says strictly, giving a sigh.
"I know, I just wanted you to know." Johnny states.
"It's over, I can't go back. Taeyong already hates me." Jaehyun explains sadly.
"Well, looks like you screwed up big this time." Johnny says, and gets up from his chair.
Jaehyun lifts his eyebrow, and watches as his friend is about to leave.
"Aren't you going to help me?" Jaehyun stops him.
"Nope, this is you and Taeyongs problem. And a little bit of your girlfriend. Other than that I can't do anything anyway. It's up to you big man, decide, and decide fast." Johnny says before walking out and closing the door behind him.
Jaehyun gives a frustrated sigh as he spins around in his chair to look out the window behind him overlooking the city. How foolish of him to think about the other in such a horrible state. He just wonders what Taeyong is going right about now.
Sleeping maybe, or maybe talking to Jisung, or maybe eating, or watching tv. Or maybe with another.
The last thought made Jaehyun scowl, and he made a sour face at the thought of Taeyong with another.
How could he fix this now, and what would sacrifices would he have to make to get Taeyong back. A sudden thought popped into his mind, It was cruel, and yet he knew deep down it had to happen to make things right.
