FMC is officially launching its first Musical OS Contest "Century's Hymns".

*Clearing my throat* Sorry! let's get back to the business.
You know why music is a prominent part of the Indian film industry?
It's because of the way you can express your feelings through music, there is no other power in the world that can match the charm and beauty of it.

Arz kiya hai mulayeza farmayega...
"Irshad Irshad" toh bolo
Dil ki haa aur zubban ki naa thi
Hyee re bechari mehboba ki daar se taqrar thi.

This is the magic music has on us, you can speak your heart out when you give music a chance.
And here we are, as promised you to give you a chance to explore your feelings.
It doesn't matter for whom you are writing, to whom you will dedicate this OS, it may be your parents, your siblings, your friends, family or your love interest.

Guys, how many of you are 90's songs fan?
We all know the 90's period is known as one of the best periods in the history of the Indian film industry. And why not, from giving us the King of Bollywood to making us hum Kumar Sanu's soulful songs, it has given everything to the industry.
From making us the hugeeee fan of Salman Khan to singing "Jisse dekh mera dil dhdka meri jaan tadpti hai, koi jannat ki wo hoor nahi meri college ki.... ek ladki hai or pehla pehla pyaar hai"
From you willing to dance on "Chunari Chunari" or "Ek Do Teen" song and burn the stage with your moves just like Madhuri Dixit or teasing your sister or brother on their sangeet night with "dil wale dhulanya lejayenge" or "chal pyar karegi or Mahi ve (Kal ho na ho)"
From make your heartbeats fast on listening to "Kahi pyaar na hojaye" to wishing you would be a part of those famous cliché songs of Sooraj Barjatia films and oh, imaging yourself in the arms of Prem a.k.a Salman Khan.
Well I did, I still do! Imaging myself in Prem's arms singing some cliché songs like "chocolate ice-cream or ABCDEFG from Hum Saath Saath Hai."
It was truly a golden period, now most of the Wattpadians weren't able to enjoy that period cause they were not even planned at that time or just born!
And those who did you people are really lucky. I must admit!
So, FMC thought why not we give you people a chance to enjoy that golden period you missed?
Sounds amazing right?
So...
As you all know by now, that you have to write a one-shot (OS)
But...
Based on songs and not just any songs.
We have kept a Theme.
"Century's Hymns"
The songs on which you will write an OS should be 90's songs (1990 to 2000)
You have to write an OS using 90's songs. Any 90's songs no criteria there.
And if you use songs from any other decade then we sorry, the team will disqualify your OS.
So kick start your imagination and let's get your quarantine time in some use.
