Elsewhere, a heart-throb to many a winsome young lady was guilty of this same laxity in the punctuality stakes.

He'd boast about the vast number of sweethearts he'd wooed, always insisting —

"You take the girl by the hand and the mother by the heart"

He was quite gorgeous... but he was ALWAYS late!

I had nightmares before our wedding.

A constantly recurring one saw me searching nearby pubs... in my wedding dress and veil, nursing my bouquet.

Thankfully, he was NOT late for THAT date!
