Jack's booming voice echoes down the row of shops.

Raffle ticket sellers may NOT address or in any way harass potential donors. The words ring in my ears.

The convenors have no idea of the style of an old-time farmer like Jack. AND the way old mates speak to each other.

Jack isn't anywhere near finished.

"C'mon, open up your moth-eaten wallet. I saw what you got for that bull at market last week. Bloomin' fortune!"

And another hapless donor... well... DONATES!
