Ursun POV

It's been three days since Y/N took off suddenly and everyone's worried about his disappearance. Most were scared that he was planning on killing us but I saw the vulnerable side of him... He's not going to kill everyone here... not when he just had a panic attack about what I could only assume was about his past as a bioweapon. Nevertheless, that panic attack could lead to irreversible damage to everyone and himself. As a result, Ive been searching for him every chance I get. While I'm searching for the safety of other cells, the thing that seemed to be a genuine concern for his safety. After another search that resulted in being fruitless, I sighed frustratingly as I entered the white blood cell lockers.

U-1212: So... Where did you go?

Ursun: *Sighs* I'm still trying to find him... I'm worried...

U-8787: Don't worry. I'm sure he's fine. I mean, even if all the white blood cells, macrophages, and killer T-cells in the universe were to try to bring him down, doubt we'd even survive for 2 minutes...

Ursun: It's not tha-...Yeah... He'll be fine (It would be best to refrain from speaking about his vulnerability openly...) Still he's proved himself to be a helpful ally by now hasn't he?

WBC Captain: Indeed. Truth be told, If it weren't for his abrupt disappearance after he ran through multiple crowds of cell, I would've tried to convince him to join our ranks.

Ursun: Huh?

WBC Captain: I've had scouts watching him everywhere he went up until he bolted. I've seen him dispatch bacteria within seconds, I've seen him REALLY help out the platelets a lot... HELL! I've seen him help Red blood cells carry a few things of oxygen around on very rare occasions.

I then listened to the others talk about the things they heard Y/N has done. However, we eventually had move on to something a cell noticed.

WBC: A cell noticed something strange near the left shoulder blade. They didn't see the thing clearly but they're concerned that it might be a virus that has slipped by quietly but that doesn't make sense. We should've sensed it immediately...

Ursun: (Wait... could that be Y/N? They're right, any of the white blood cells, macrophages, or killer T-Cells should've sensed something! Just like when he entered the body and by now, must of us have grown accustomed to accepting Y/N as an abnormal cell.) Chief! I'll scout out the situation and I'll let you know what I find.

WBC: I appreciate you volunteering but-

Ursun: I know you want more than one cell investigating but if there's too many of us, it'll sense our presence. I feel it would be better to send one white blood cell and since it's my suggestion, I'll volunteer to do it!

WBC: I...I'll let you go but you're not going completely alone. 1212, 8787? You both are close with 1196 so I would request you two to go with her.

They both looked at me and I knew they were suspicious so I have them a nod so they knew that I was planning something. They immediately agreed to come with me and so we immediately began our way there but when we got to the area, all three of us stopped.

8787: Gonna go out on a limb and say that you think it's Y/N?

Ursun: Yeah...

1212: You seem quite worried about him~...

Ursun: Yeah... he's a close ally now.

8787: Oh, I'm sure he is~.

I was about to ask her what she meant but I then realized she was insinuating he and I were lovers.

Ursun: GAH! NO! We're not that close! Shush!

1212: *Giggles* Okay, okay~. We won't tease you.... Ursun~!

I groaned in frustration and embarrassment and was going to scold them for teasing me but before I could even open my mouth, we heard something that sent a chill down our spines

1212: What... The Hell was that?!

8787: That? That's Nope on a Rope! *Half hearted chuckle* Too bad WE can't run from it~!

A few seconds later, we heard millions of cells screaming in pain and we were about to run in there but I stopped 1212 and 8787.

Ursun: Please... Let me go in there alone. If it is Y/N, maybe I can talk to him.

8787: Uhh, yeah no.

1212: We don't care if he's your boyfriend or not, we can't risk losing you. We'll hide nearby but you need to stay safe! If we feel like you're in danger, we're jumping in!

Ursun: I-!... *Sighs* Alright.

After we all agreed to the conditions we laid down for our next move, we quickly moved into the area and as they went to hide, I watched as an Aureus was thrown into the the air before barrage of tendrils pierced its body.

And... at the center of it all, was a virus much stronger than any other... I knew it had to be him...

Ursun: Y/N... Please... Come back to us...

I immediately tried to run to him but her turned my way and sent a blade towards me so I went to duck but instead, the blade just barely missed me and had plunged deep into a bacteria's chest before wrapping all around it, causing it to scream but it's screams were silenced abruptly when this monstrous form of Y/N bit its head off before using his tendrils to rip off the remaining pieces before eating those pieces. After he had finished devouring his victim viciously, I called out to him. Immediately, it snapped towards me and stared at me with eyes that seemed full of malicious bloodlust but I refused to back down. I tried to talk to him but he then lunged towards me and went to bite so I quickly used my sword's sheathe to stop him, and when he noticed it in his mouth, he didn't put more force with his bite... and now that he was closer, I could see what was really inside his eye: Fear... but fear of what? Maybe himself...?

Ursun: Y/N... You need to come back to us, to me. Breathe slowly, I know you're scared, but it's okay. We're all here for you! The white blood cells, the platelets love your company, every cell has accepted you in some way, even the Killer T-Cells and that's a great achievement itself! 1212 and 8787 are here for you too! A-And... I'll always be there for you! I promise (SHIT! That came out wrong! Please don't look too deep into that last statement! I can't give them any more fuel to tease me about this!)

As I spoke to him as soothingly as I could, I watched as the terrifying thing that had me pinned to the ground slowly changed back to Y/N... but for the first time, I saw something I'd never expect to see from him, a virus who doesn't even to do anything other than walk into a room to assert his strength and dominance, having tears rolling down his eyes with fear still in his eyes

Ursun: It's okay Y/N. Just breathe, breathe.

After a few seconds, Y/N opened his mouth and allowed me to put my sword back down but unfortunately... I failed to notice the position we were in and they had just run over.

1212: Sorry! We got ambushed by a few... *sees them* bacteria...

8787: Ara Ara~. What's this you two~?

Ursun: I! Uh! Um! (Fuck fuck fuck! What do I do what do I do what do I do what do I do?!)

Y/N: *Uses Blacklight discreetly wipe away his tears and looks at them* She was almost jumped by a bacteria so I got her out of the way as I sent a tendril through its head. Nothing to worry about.

1212: Hmm~....

Ursun: Y-Yeah! That's the situat-

Y/N: *Mischievously smirks* But I wouldn't mind being in this position somewhere more private~.

8787: Oh~? At least take her out on a date first hotshot~!

Y/N: Heh~. I'll think about it~. But don't you think it could also be fun to just jump right into it~?

Ursun: If you don't shut up, I'm gonna kick your ass Y/N!

1212: Perhaps we should give you two some privacy~.

Ursun: Shut up!

8787: Remember to use protection~!

Y/N: Come on now~. Do I look like an STD to you~? You don't need to worry about me infecting her with anything~. Corrupting her purity~? Not-

Y/N: *Doesn't even fucking flinch* As I was saying~, corrupting her purity~? Not so much~.

Ursun: *Ursun.exe has stopped working*

Y/N then got off me with a smug smirk on his face and helped me up while the other two were giggling uncontrollably. I couldn't stop blushing and actually felt a bit annoyed at how flustered I had become now...

Y/N: Okay~! We've had our fun here!... *His demeanor becomes terrifyingly serious, enough to make 1212 & 8787 stop giggling immediately and become nervous* NEVER! Talk about what you saw of me here! I don't need ANYBODY knowing that side of me! Because... that's not who I am... not anymore. I had accidentally unleashed it but I'll make sure that never happens again.

8787: Well we want some answers for ourselves then.

1212: What the hell was that monstrosity you had become?!

Ursun: I want to know too...

Y/N: *Sighs in dissatisfaction* That thing... was what I looked like as a bioweapon; an... inner demon that was unleashed in a fit of vulnerability. It's that accidental loss of control that I don't want anybody to know about, that included you three.

8787: I have a guess but why?

Y/N: It... It took an unbearably 3 years of being genetically modified over and over again before they decided it was safe to use a few human volunteers to see how well this virus-vaccine would work with a vast array of humans.

Ursun: So there are more of you?

Y/N: Technically speaking but those ones aren't of the same strand like me. They're... Copies for a lack of better words.

1212: *All three nod their heads* I see. But I have one last question... THEN, I'll agree to be silent.

Y/N: Fine...

1212: What caused you to become SO vulnerable, you diverged back to your old ways?

Y/N went silent, obviously not wanting to talk about it and I was going to try and help get him out of having to answer it, but he then spoke.

Y/N: An Epiphany: The realization that when I thought I was originally created, I was going to help humanity enter into a new era of evolving prosperity...until I was betrayed by creators because I had supposedly become too powerful for them to stop. After my first ever host, Alex Mercer, was killed by an evolved by the name of James Heller, I thought it was the end for me. A few months later, I wake up inside a lab vial and I was told I was going to do great things for this world... I thought I was going to be used as a bioweapon again but instead, I was brought here to help... Seeing everyone getting along and just celebrating the most minuscule victories, it made me realize that the cells I had eagerly and joyfully killed in the past, were just like the ones here, albeit most were in much better shape. The weight of my past actions felt so heavy...and I just kept hearing the screams and pleading cries of those I had killed and consume echo violently in my head. It was just too much for me...

8787: Well... This will be a pain in the ass to explain to the high-

Y/N: I sensed something dangerous and ran to investigate but was ambushed and bitten by another bacteria but Blacklight forced it to evolve. Since you all have been around me for a good amount of time, you had grown accustomed to Blacklight's presence, hence you weren't able to sense it.

Ursun: Wha?

Y/N: There's your explanation. It's a lie but if I say it, they'll believe it. I AM the only person with the greatest understanding of my genetic coding after all~.

After looking at him and back to each other, we all agreed that Y/N's story would work as a cover up, so we began walking back but on our way back, I told him about how our captain wanted to recruit him into our ranks. His response was no surprise to me.

Y/N: If it means I get to see you beautiful ladies more, count me in~.

I could only Puff my cheeks out a bit while 1212 and 8787 went along with his teasing

In a puddle of blood, figure's face manifested in the crimson liquid of multiple mutilated bacteria.

???: *Chuckles* "that's not who I am... not anymore. I had accidentally unleashed it but I'll make sure that never happens again." Is that so~? You're an idiot~. You're nothing more than a byproduct that perverts our name and our sole reason for existence! You and I? We THIRST for blood and we know you can't deny this!
