Chapter 83: A Rematch of Skies and Shadows
"Ready to get schooled again?"
"I don't often lose against people with room temperature IQ."
Most of Shugoda taped into the livestream while Cree had his sights on Rigal's Inner Circle from up close.
"Ready," the recording drone's AI asked. "Three, two, one, begin!"
When Rigal winded back and threw hefty punches, Sehki bobbed and grinded against them, gaining a quick hit before one connected, sending him back.
As the heir lunged forward to deliver a flying hook covered in wind, he dived into the shadow, flying out with an earth enhanced kick. Flipping back up, Rigal bore witness to him landing a spinning kick to his head.
Annoyed, he caught Sehki's leg and spun around akin to a windmill, before hurling him away and launching two eagle shaped claw bursts at him that blew him further away.
"I'll end your suffering quickly," thrust-punching two tornado-like attacks. Sehki took a deep breath as he landed, allowing the shadow to tank the hit while its hands were coated in his fire and water whips, spinning them to mitigate the pain.
"You'll have to do better than that," enraging Rigal, who switched to punches firing shorter and faster air bullets. But the distance between them was enough for Sehki's to flail around his Shadow Whip, dismantling them into gusts with grace and elegance, bowing.
"Thank you, thank you! Now for my next trick, I'll make Rigal's blood pressure rise faster than it takes for him to kick a woman off his podcast!"
Rigal unveiled a shockwave in anger. "I'll kick you off life itself!" He flew upward, diving down, throwing eagle shaped bullets Sehki rolled under, retreating to the shadow of a tree, but couldn't escape getting tackled, grabbing in the air and hurling airborne with nothing to reach around. His hand widened back with the same power to shatter and crack a tree down.
"Dodge this!"
Panicking, he took Cree's advice and twisted his shadow into his jacket, covering his hands in darkness and a Victory Rider helmet, but with fangs for a mask. The hands charged and released enough force to flap away from his attack.
Surprised, Rigal gave aerial chase to land a hit. Sehki refused, flapping towards the recording drones and mechs and jumping off each other seconds as his attacker got close. Reaching the upper limits of the skyscraper, he jumped off in the opposite direction, flying towards a moving train.
"Stop running, you beta," propelling towards him.
"Oh will you please just shut up," swerving, barrel rolling, ascending, and descending from Rigal's attempts, clutching his arms once he got close, while using all four arms to ensnare and piledrive him towards a train.
Rigal's conjuring wind barrier saved him from a large impact while Sehki landed with a dark hoverboard. "When did you become so defective and buggy? Maybe you are a real Alpha build after all," snickering.
"Shut up!" Rising up to kick a vacuum and blow him upward, Sehki surfed on the impact. Watching him use two hands to strike a strong wave of wind, Sehki ollied onto it, flailing and happily screaming, waving to the viewers watching in the train.
Even as it blew him off the tracks and sent him into the train into the opposite direction.
"Huh?"
"Take this seriously," jumping towards him with wind spheres with the same eagle ferocity. Sehki planted shadow shackles around his feet on the train, using the rest of it to form a tennis racket wrapped in fire.
Swinging it back at him, the two engaged in a brutal tennis match of magic back and forth until smoke erupted between the two of them.
Rigal grabbed him out of the smoke, kicking him back into the sky. He landed on the edge of the skyscraper.
"Come on, you're the Alpha of the Sky? The Sky n Fly Alpha can't even soar enough to hit his target? No wonder Rilis dumped you, I guess you couldn't find the right spot!"
Rigal responded with a fist Sehki narrowly dodged, cracking the floor and breaking apart of the building while his second swing made its mark, leaving Sehki coughing even with the darkness halting the impact.
Coughing, he ate Rigal's hand before he could manhandle him, harnessing the flatulence in his body to escape to the roof, which started falling as he used it to rest.
Sigh, watching another holoscreen with comments. "You sickos are enjoying this, aren't you," taking a closer look while massaging his chest. "Wait, some of you want me to win?"
He looked down and saw the same kids he played with watching him from afar. "Alright, I'll win."
Rigal flew up and Sehki rolled away, avoiding the enhanced typhoon strikes breaking apart the floors into falling platforms the drones had to avoid. Adjusting to the descent, he ran over to the same one Rigal leapt towards.
He dissipated the triple Eagusts Rigal threw with his fists, launching his own whip that was dodged and rolled away before Rigal turned his own sweat into bullets he gyrated to block it, pulling and dragging by the waist to knee and batter him in the face.
He used the moment to slither around the platform, flying behind Rigal with a roundhouse, retreating and flying back in. For every time the heir managed to hit them, Sehki used the momentum to fly back out with the same speed, landing a flechette of strikes, slashes, and blows to his adversary's limbs.
"Enough," throwing him down to his feet. Rigal punched the first sign he was coming out when his hand got wrapped around by a jacket. Sehki launched up with an uppercut to the chin before dropping down with a brutal axe kick to his cranium, springing with a flying gut strike.
"Shadow Victory," wrapping his entire shadow in his body, "Impact!"
Desperate, Rigal punched the rubble into the ground, orbiting it around his drill shaped fist as the two's limbs collided, pushing them away as they fell back to where they started.
He rolled back up, watching Rigal's wave his arms back, circling them around, preparing his Aquila Airstrike Stream.
"Now, let the Rematch of Sky and Shadows conclude," running in head first.
