Chapter 63: Sehki vs Taylor - Grudge Match
Taylor waved the sky in confusion. "Who are you supposed to be?"
"I have many aliases....okay, way too much. Call me Victory Rider Shadow," punching in front of him. "The darkness that eclipses the evil in fae. And the demon that devours your sins," as he shadow-whipped Taylor across his face, dragging him slightly back.
"How dare you, I'm a divine heir!"
"And I'm the heir of a realm of demons," laughing maniacally. "You're a perfect fit!"
When the blonde summoned a whirlpool in wrath, he kicked the ground for his shadow to cover itself in earth. Recalling the night Taylor and Rigal's attack left him helpless, he swung it down at the epicenter, holding back it's expansion as it spun himself and his power around.
He let go, launching his entire body into Taylor, pushing him back.
The Hydro heir formed a trident of water. "What on earth are you?"
Sehki followed Candy's lesson, merging his shadow with the earth around his arms and chest. Blocking the attack, he spat in Taylor's arm, weakening his focus to volley his weapon up. They swung their black whip and pronged blade at each other back and forth, until the former wrapped and yanked it out of the former.
"Your despair," having his shadow slam into Taylor's back, kneeing him back up, and using the bandages as a medium to dual whip him with shadow and waves.
He wrapped them around Taylor's hands, yanking them towards them. "This is for bullying me," punching him in the face. "For harming the crew," deflecting his hand. "For hurting every actor, actress and their loved ones you made suffer!"
Taylor summoned up a fist of water in panic but Sehki formed a dark claw of equal size that clashed. He flinched when Sehki swung his head back, only for his avatar to grab the heir by the legs, spinning him around akin the vortex that swept him up to the cliff and tossed him into the air.
Sehki jumped after him, watching him torn to Lorena.
"Lorena, help me! You're a member of my Inner Circle! I'll forget this ever happened."
The Demon Prince noticed her eyes wavering, knowing that pain.
"Lorena! We've got our secrets, but I won't let him silence your pain!"
She sighed, stretching her arm between Sehki and Taylor. The latter grabbed on, when her wrist flew past him, reaching Sehki.
He nodded, holding his shadow in his hands, sliding down her hands like a zipline, and smashing his soles into his chest, blasting Taylor into a wall. He flew down, panicking as Lorena rolled up on her back, stretching her legs to wrap around and ease his fall to land on her.
"You trusted me?"
She blinked. "I don't know why," picking themselves up. "I wish someone had said something to him."
"You got close to him because you wanted to find out if the royal family had ties to the person who harmed your family?"
"You knew? Ha," unable to hide her smile. "I guess that's why she's the actress in the family," shaking her head. "But this world is filled with actors who disappoint the eighty-eight heroes. I want to be a light that exposes their true character," seeing Yessenia listening to them.
"And find justice for their victims, past, present, and if the fae have a future."
Sehki nodded. "So let's bring our culprit."
Gako whimpered over to them to Yessenia's concern. "I'm fine. You've got quite the sister."
While smiles were exchanged, Taylor picked himself off the ground, unleashing the wrath of his oceanic force through, shaping the water around himself into a more condensed version, forging it around his arms and legs.
Sehki remembered Calypsa's words on each of the heirs. Realizing this was bad, he warned everyone to run as Taylor used his newfound range to fly around at anyone and anything possible.
"I'll drown all of you here into the water!"
With the stunt team trying to do their best to stop him and tired of his attitude, Sehki looked around.
"Hey, these props are just props right? You control the amount of magic released so no one gets hurt?" Gako and Yessenia nodded. "Okay," borrowing a prop gun. "Let's get this over with!"
He waved at Taylor, stopping at the open window. "Come and get me!"
As the water prince started to fly at him in his hydrogenic jet form, Sehki wrapped his shadow around the gun, harnessing the limits of his fire magic inside of it and pressed the trigger. The fireball burst out the nozzle, evaporating the room with smoke.
"I see you!" Taylor went to strike Sehki's body, deactivating his spell at the sight of contact. However, what was actually the shadow wrapped around Sehki's leg, who greeted the arrogant blonde's path out the smoke with a kick through the window.
Sweating, Sehki saw Taylor try to pick himself up. Not sure how long he could last, Sehki grabbed the gun, with the same strategy, covering it with earth, shaking.
"Okay, after this," coughing, "learn to combine two elements and shadow without staring," using the condensed attack to shoot a volley of fast, quicker elemental bullets at Taylor's arms and legs.
"I won't let you," Taylor called out, descending to an open, lower platform of the opposing building from the burns, "stop," huffing, "me."
Sehki watched him be too tired to stand up, kneeling on the ground a second later.
"Two down, two to go," as his shadow retracted. "Victory!"
Lorena, Gako, and Yessenia picked him up when the former gasped.
"Sehki, look!"
The man in white, Cluster flew down towards Taylor, rolling him over.
"It seems you're in need of some divine intervention."
"Help me beat that masked freak!"
"As you wish."
He lifted his garb, and Voids dropped out, surrounding the defeated heir and sank their mouths into his flesh.
"What the-hey, what's going on?"
After being bit by several Voids, Taylor's blond hair turned white. The rest of his skin glowing purple as his scream of anguish released bursts of water from the sky and sea. Waves of his hand sent whirlpools and tidal waves destroying the buildings and nearby parts of the city.
