Has anyone ever read the novel "How to kill a Mockingbird" By Harper Lee? I'm reading it these days and I gotta say, it's a great story. But anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this chappie!

Lucy eyes fluttered open seeing a clear blue sky Where am I? Suddenly, memories of what happened yesterday filled her. She groaned as she sat up. Lucy looked around and saw Wendy curled up besides her with Charles in her arm. Lucy smiled softly taking in the sight before panic fill her The Grand Magic Games! Lucy quickly picked up Wendy and Charles bridal style and ran towards the center of Crocus as fast as she can. What time is it?! Did the games already started?! Lucy ran faster What if me or Wendy was picked for one of the games?! "Wendy! Wendy! You gotta wake up!" Lucy said shaking her sister.

Wendy stirred waking up "Hm? Lucy-nee? Where are we?" "Crocus" Wendy's eyes went wide and she clutched her head "What?! How about the Grand Magic Games?!" "I'm running there" Was her short blunt reply. Wendy blinked for a while staring at Lucy "Can't you use your Sound Step to go there?" Lucy  laughed nervously and said "I forgot that I shouldn't use my other magic in public." Lucy smiled as the destination came in sight "Almost there!" She climbed the stairs and ran towards her booth at a godly speed when a person stopped her "Hello Miss, may I ask where the nearest restaurant is?" 

Lucy looked towards the voice and saw a man with long blond hair, wearing a pinkish reddish hat, mask, and coat, a long pink feather was attached to the hat. Which stood out the most. Lucy snapped out of her trance and replied "If you continue on forward you'll see a long street with markets on the sides. Continue on until you see the first right and turn. You'll see a restaurant." The man smiled and tipped his hat saying "Thank you Miss, my name is Rufus of the Saber Tooth guild. I take it that you are Lucy and Wendy of Fairy Tail?"

Lucy beamed at Rufus "Yes Rufus-san, I am Lucy Heartfilia of Fairy Tail." He smiled and putted his hat back on his head "Though it is a good day to talk, I must get going. Good luck Miss Heartfilia-san" With that, he left following Lucy's directions. Lucy smiled at his leaving figure before pondering to her own thought How long has it been since I met an actual proper gentlemen? She snorted and ran to her booth Years! When Lucy and Wendy arrived, they saw a surprising scene. Erza was sulking while her other team was sweat-dropping and trying to comfort her.

"What's uh, going on here?" Lucy asked putting Wendy down. Master Makarov lit up seeing her "Ah my child! You are here! For today's event, we would like you and Wendy to participate" He said.  "What is the event Master?" Wendy asked. Master Makarov's lips curved into a pervy grin "The women contest. Only women can participate. It'll just test which guild has the most attractive women, strongest, the most talent. Only 2 women can participate from each guild team."

Lucy sweat-dropped "I mean" She motioned her hand towards Erza's figure on the ground "Why is Erza .....?" Lucy trailed off unsure of what to say. As if hearing Lucy's question, Erza got up and gripped Lucy's shoulder "I apologize Lucy, I lack the skills of what a women should have. You may hit me." Wendy laughed nervously and patted Erza's back "I-I'm pretty sure your skills are very good Erza-san." Erza smiled putting away her hand from Lucy's shoulder and said to Wendy "Thank you Wendy, I wish you the best of luck Wendy, Lucy."

"She'll beat all those losers!" Natsu gave Lucy a toothy grin swinging his arm around her "Cause my best friend is the greatest!" Lucy blushed looking away at the compliment "Thanks Natsu" She mumbled. Gray grinned and held up Wendy "We can't forget Wendy either!" Wendy's face turned redder than Lucy's "Thank you very much Gray-san!" Gray putted her down "But same as Erza, good luck girls!"

Lucy and Wendy nodded before hearing Chapati speak over the microphone "I hope all the guys brought tissues with them! Please, all the ladies go down to the arena for the first theme." Every competitor went down to the arena waiting for Chapati or Mato to speak for a theme. ""Well, first of we have a special guest that will be taking pictures for the sorcerer's weekly! Jason!" Jason jotted down notes on his notepad and taking pictures "Cool! Cool! It's a honor to see beautiful ladies today! COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!"

Wendy winced at the volume "He speaks very loud Lucy-nee." Lucy grumbled "Yeah, I'm pretty sure he busted out every dragon slayer's eardrums." Pretty soon, she heard Gajeel howl in pain "What the fuck man?! Think of other people for fucking dammit sakes-" He let out more strings of curses. Mato yelled grinning "I hope everybody won't get blood loss for this whole event -kabo! There will be about 5 themes in total -kabo.  First theme: Cooking Theme -kabo!" Suddenly, counters appeared from the ground in front of everyone with ingredients "Your provided ingredients will be on the counter -kabo, the following food has to have these traits in order to have a good score -kabo.  Appearance and flavor -kabo. Only 30 minutes will be given time -kabo. Begin!"

Everyone immediately started working. "Lucy-nee, what should we make?"  Lucy sighed and pushed her sleeves up "Might as well get to it, Wendy. I want you to peel 4 potatoes and crush them. Tell me when you're done." Wendy nodded eagerly and went on to her task. Lucy grabbed a tomato and started slicing it. After slicing about 5 tomatoes, she putted it in a bowl. "Tomatoes done, what was next?" Lucy studied the ingredients and smiled "Steak." She grabbed the container that had steak in it and putted it inside the oven. She set the time about 25 minutes and grabbed a lime. Lucy sliced it and squeezed it inside a measuring cup. She continued until it reached about 2 inches.

"Lucy-nee, I finished!" Wendy called out to her holding a container of mashed potatoes. Lucy smiled "Great job Wendy! Put it in the microwave and set it about 5 minutes. After that, cut some onions please." Wendy smiled "You can can count on me!" Lucy grinned This is going so well She grabbed a cabbage and cut it to very small pieces. Next, she grabbed a pineapple.  Lucy breathed in deeply and exhaled. She raised the knife and slammed it down to the pineapple with extreme force.

It ...... did not break. "Are you kidding me?" Lucy deadpanned glaring at the pineapple. She sighed and took out a key "Open thee, Gate of the Lion! Leo!" She chanted. Loke appeared smiling and swooned over Lucy "Princess, you looked especially lovely today. Shall we have a cooking date?" He asked kissing her hand. "Um, can you slice this pineapple?" Loke's smile vanished "Break a pineapple?" He quirked an eyebrow "Anything for you my princess." Loke proceeded with the task breaking it with a punch. "Thanks Loke, can you help me do some cooking?" Lucy asked. "I'll make it as beautiful as you my princess!" Loke claimed as Lucy images popped inside his head.

Lucy sweat-dropped "Okay, can you cut some apples and mash it? After that spread the apple sauce on a small bowl and put the pineapple pieces on top it" Lucy directed as Loke immediately went on with his task declaring things like "My princess shall be proud of me!" or "Love will fire me up my dear Lucy!" Lucy smiled "Maybe I should check up on Wendy." She went to Wendy and asked "How's it going Wendy?" No response "Wendy?"

Lucy looked at Wendy's face and saw her eyes were red and puffy from crying with tears streaming down her face. "Why are you crying Wendy?!" Lucy panicked and grabbed a tissue wiping her tears and eyes. Wendy trembled "Lu-Lucy-nee, I'm sorry. The onions defeated me." Lucy blinked "Did you cut anything?" Wendy nodded and pointed to a medium pile of sliced onions. "That's good Wendy! How about you wipe your eyes and rinse your face in the meanwhile?" 'Lucy suggested guiding Wendy to the sink.

Wendy nodded slowly and started rinsing her face. Lucy smiled and finally heard a loud "Ding!" Lucy rushed towards the oven opening it. "Smells de-li-cious!" Lucy exclaimed putting on thick gloves and grabbing the tray. She grabbed a spatula and transferred the steak to a dish. Then, she spread all of the mash potatoes  around the steak and poured all the lime juice on the steak bit by bit. Then, she put the tomatoes, lettuce, and onion together around the mashed potatoes creating a pattern. Lucy grinned proudly and called out to Loke "Loke! Are you done yet?" Loke immediately dashed to her holding a small bow with apple sauce in it with small sliced pineapple pieces on top of it.

Lucy squealed and put the small bowl besides the plate. "All done!" Lucy stared at the gourmet with a watering mouth. Loke laughed and shook his head taking out something "For the beverage, special wine made by the one and only Micheal Ktuy" He poured the wine in a cup and set it besides the plate. Lucy gasped "By Micheal Ktuy? He's one of the best wine makers in history! How did you get it?" "I helped him with some stuff and he gave me a whole me a whole box of wine to show his gratitude" Loke explained. "30 minutes over -Kabo! The judges shall check the food and rate it -Kabo!" Mato said as the competitors backed away from the counter.

"Beauty is not only one of my attributes!" Jenny bragged flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Lucy, how did your cooking go?" Mira asked walking towards her smiling. "Oh brother, I forgot you're participating also Mira" Lucy cried animatedly "We'll never stand a chance!" Wendy laughed nervously and patted her sister's back "We did good Mira-san, how about you're team?" "Love-rival shall lose! Juvia and Mirajane-san has made the best food out of everyone's food" Juvia chuckled evilly sending shivers down Lucy's and Wendy's spine.

"G-great" Lucy said nervously. "The results will be seen on the lacrima screen -Kabo!" Mato announced as everyone in the arena turned their attention to the large lacrima screens.

1st Place: Fairy Tail Team B and Saber Tooth
2nd Place: Fairy Tail Team A
3rd Place: Mermaid Heel
4th Place: Blue Pegasus
5th Place: Lamia Scale
6th Place: Raven Tail

Wendy blinked at the results "Where is Quatro Cerbures?" "They're not allowed to participate since there no ladies in that guild" Mira replied. Everyone roared and cheered at the results. Mato grinned and said excitedly over the microphone "The next theme will be: Fashion!!!!"

And there, I'll be cutting the event into pieces for each theme. If you want a specific theme then you can request one if you want! But, yeah. Also, sorry about the sucky cooking details because, I don't really cook myself. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chappie!
