Chapter One -- Beginings
Earth -- June 21, 1984
Juniper Wittiter laughed as she chased her daughter across the front lawn of her house.
"Casey Louise you come back here." She called out once again. The little red head squealed in response as she took off running again. Juniper shook her head at the girl, a smile spreading across her face. Juniper never wanted children but now with Casey around Juniper's life had a purpose.
The little suddenly stopped running and turned towards her mother. "Mommy don't cry." Was all the girl said before a bright pink light engulfed the child.
"Casey!" Juniper screamed as she ran to the spot her daughter once was.

Earth -- June 21, 1986
Juniper cried softly as she looked at the picture of her daughter. Two years had passed since her daughters strange disappearance.
"Juniper Wittiter?" She heard a voice ask.
Juniper turned around. "Yes?"
Standing just off to the side of empty lot a man and a woman stood. The woman carefully stepped forward. "Finally we found you." She said.
"Who are you?" Juniper asked.
"My name is Morgana and this is my husband Shamus." The woman answered. She was dressed all in white with a mask covering her face. The man was dressed the same.
Juniper was cautious and stood a fair distance away. If these two people meant her harm she would be ready.
"It has taken us two years to track you down. We have news about your daughters disappearance. If you come with us we will tell you everything." The man said standing next to his wife. Both hadn't made a move to get closer.
"This must be some kind of joke." Juniper muttered, but she stepped closer interested in what these strange people had to say. For two years the police had told her she was crazy. That there was no way someone could simply disappear in a pink light.
"The day your daughter was taken wasn't supposed to happen. It was you that was meant to travel the light." The woman said bluntly.
Those words caused Juniper to pause in her advance. These people were crazy. She thought to herself.
"What do you know of my daughters disappearance?" Juniper asked more firmly.
The woman sighed "juniper please come with us. We need your help to stop your daughter from doing something terrible."
Now Juniper laughed. "My daughter would be seven now. How could she do something terrible?"
"We can't tell you that here. Come with us, and we will explain it all." The man said.
"How can I trust you?"
"That's the catch. You don't know the answer to that until you come with us. Trust us though. It wasn't supposed to be Casey two years ago, it was supposed to be you."
This made Juniper angry and scared. These people had meant to kidnap her not her daughter. "How could you take the wrong person? She was only five. And if you took me you would have left her alone."
"She wouldn't have been alone. I would have been with her. Instead, the wrong person raised her and now she is a threat." The woman replied.
"Please Juniper we don't have much time." The man added as a pink light began to shine down on the pair.
Juniper watched in amazement and more fear coursed through her veins. "Come Juniper. All your questions will be answered. You are the only one who can find Casey and stop her before it's too late."
Juniper didn't think too long before she ran towards the pair. The light covered and a strange calmness took over the fear. Images began to flash across her eyes before darkness over took her.

Juniper slowly blinked her eyes as tried to regain her focus. She could hear voices talking somewhere in the distance. Slowly she sat up realizing she was laying in a bed.
"I want to see her." A child's voice said.
"She has to wake up first Maarten." Juniper heard the woman from earlier say.
"But mommy she is like you and daddy." The little boy said.
"Yes, but she doesn't know that yet." The woman replied to the child.
"Ah Juniper you are awake. Are you thirsty?" The man asked her.
Turning her head slightly and blinking several times more Juniper nodded her head. "Where am I?" She asked hoarsely. It felt like she had been asleep for years and her throat was raw from lack of use.
"Our home. We couldn't take you to the consul yet. You passed out from the travel." The man said as he came over with a bottle of water. He handed the bottle to Juniper who quickly opened it and drank.
"What happened?" Juniper asked once she had drank half the bottle.
"We aren't sure. The travel shouldn't have made you pass out." The man answered honestly.
"How long have I been out?"
"Two days."
"Shamus the consul requests our presence." The woman said coming into the room. A young boy trailing after her.
"I want to come." The boy said. A small girl identical to the boy came running in. "I want to come too." She said.
"My babies you know you can't come. It's not safe for you two." The woman said as she leaned down to hug each child.
"Callily! Maarten!" A mans voice called.
"Go to Naylor. Don't hide on him this time." The woman said smiling as she lightly pushed her children out of the room.
The twins smiled at each other a look of mischief on their tiny faces. Then they took off running. Their footsteps echoing off the walls as Juniper heard the man call out again. The children laughed as they ran.
The man and woman sighed and shook their heads. "Those two are going to be a lot of trouble when they get older." The man said half heartedly. "They will be great leaders if all goes well." The woman said with a smile. She turned towards Juniper who was more confused than ever now.
"Come we need to go to the consul."
This time a white light engulfed the group and Juniper looked around to see she was no longer in the room but now stood inside a room with marble floors and a set of French doors.
The doors opened "good you are all here." A man said as he stepped aside to let the group enter.

Earth -- August 8th, 2030
Maarten closed his eyes the images of the woman with brilliant red hair haunted his dreams. He needed to find her.
Groaning Maarten stretched out his tired limbs and got out of bed. These dreams he had been having kept him drained and frustrated in more ways than one.
Deciding a very cold shower was in order he grabbed a towel and headed to his washroom.
"Maarten!!" Someone yelled as Maarten got out of the shower. "One second!!" He called back as he stepped into his automated dressing machine.
Heading to his kitchen he found his twin sister making breakfast. "I thought you would never get out of there." She said without turning to looking at him.
"Callily, I wasn't in the shower long." He protested as he sat at the table. A cup of coffee appeared in front of him.
He arched an eyebrow at the dark liquid. "Did you change my settings again?" He asked.
"You can't always drink canola juice in the morning brother. It's not waking you up." Callily replied.
Maarten grumbled but drank his coffee and ate the food his sister had prepared. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. He thought as he tried to picture the fiery redhead once again.
A knock sounded on the door and Callily went to open it. "Aunt Juniper" she said throwing the door open and hugging the older woman.
The woman laughed lightly. "You know I am not really your aunt." Juniper said hugging the young woman back. Memories of the past danced threw through as she recalled the first time she had met the two trouble makers.
Maarten came to the door smiling at the sight before him. "How do you always know when we need to talk?" He asked as he stepped closer to hug the elder.
