5. Letter on your Desk
Lucy was out side of the guild, humming to herself. She couldn't help it. She was so happy. She started walking. Still humming to herself. It felt like she was walking forever, but it was only minutes till she stumbled upon a apartment building. She smiled at it humming softer, and opened the cherry colored door.
After minutes she rented an apartment, and gathered everything she owned. She didn't have that much with her only her suit case, and her purse. She unpacked her suitcase, and placed everything in piles, and groups because she likes organization. After she was all unpacked, and also done taking her piles, and setting everything up, she sat at her desk. She laid her hands lightly on the wood, and stared at her right hand with the fairy tail symbol. She couldn't believe she actually got in! She wanted to write to her mom about, so she grabbed a new blank piece of paper, and started to write.
Dear Mom,
I have exciting news! I just joined the fairy tail guild! I am so excited, and I can't even believe my dreams are coming true! Thanks for listening mom! I love, and miss you so much!
Your daughter,
Lucy Heartfilia
Lucy smiled putting her letter in an envelope, and set it on her desk. She closed her eyes still smiling, and started to hum again.
"Ah man this place is huge!" Natsu's voice rung through the apartment. Lucy's eyes popped open, she blushed, and stopped humming. Natsu stopped looking around, and looked at Lucy tilting his head. "What?" Lucy shook her head still blushing lightly. Natsu stared at Lucy. Lucy knew he was, but she didn't want to make it awkward so she looked away, and stood up, pushing in her chair. He blinked, and stopped staring. "I like the place, Lucy." He stuttered lightly. "Thanks-" she turned to him quickly eyebrow raising. "Wait, how did you get in here?!" She yelled questioning. "The window..." He laughed nervously. She crossed her arms. "You could've knocked you know..." She smiled lifting her head up. Natsu sat her desk, and looked at the letter, and picked it up. "To, Mom..." He read. Lucy unfolded her arms, and looked at him sadly. "Oh you need stamp!" Natsu searched her desk. "I don't have any stamps..." Lucy's voice cracked. "Oh I guess we'll have to b-" Natsu gazed at Lucy, she was looking down, and tears filled her eyes. "I don't need a stamp for that letter..." She whispered. "Because my mom wouldn't be able to receive it..." A tear fell from her jaw line.
