"Why would you hide such a thing from me Celeste?" Ciel asked me. He was pacing back and forth in the entertainment parlor avoiding eye contact with me. I was my reaper self and was in my combat dress considering today I did have some souls to collect.

"The same reason you didn't tell me you sold your soul for revenge to a demon." I said hinting that I was annoyed with him and Sebastian who was standing behind my seat, "Sebastian do me a favor. Can you move away from my seat. I wouldn't hurt Ciel he is my brother." I said looking back.

"Was your brother. I don't think I can be your brother now." He said I looked at him shocked and started to tear up a bit. I held the tears down and got up I opened the door to the society. Will finally taught me how to do it.

"If that is how you feel, fine. I thought this wouldn't change anything but apparently it did. Good day sir." I said and slammed the door shut. I ran to Grell's knowing full well he was there. I burst through his door and he stood there almost as if he knew what happened.

"Celeste my sweet angel come to Grell." He said as he opened his arms for me. I rushed to him and started to cry, I hugged him, "Don't cry for that brat Celeste. He doesn't deserve your tears young one. Now I heard a certain demon went to see you at Madams funeral." Grell said and pushed me down to sit on one of the red armchairs he has.

I stopped crying and wiped my face clean. I looked up at him and smiled, "Yeah Claude like always. Now he was spewing about me being his bride. Last time I checked I haven't even agreed to anything just yet. All I know is that I have a full year left before I am forced to be with Claude. Being that he has been after me the longest he will win no matter what and we all know that. After all he gets rid of the competition." I said as William barged in. Someone must have told him I ran full on to Grell's.

"Celeste whats the matter?" He asked me and came over to check me for wounds or something.

"The brat dared to tell her that he wasn't her brother anymore. Technically that brat has cut the ties with Celeste." Grell answered for me.

"Is this true Celeste?" He asked me.

"Yes Will, it is." I said and broke down again. I was shocked when Will pulled me to my feet and hugged me.

"Celeste no one deserves your tears especially someone like him." William said. I nodded and he took us home and left me alone in my room.

Ciel's POV

How could she keep something like that from me? She showed no emotion sitting there while she asked Sebastian to move from behind her seat I just couldn't take it anymore, "Was your brother. I don't think I can be your brother now." I said I watched as she held her emotions in. She stood up and walked to the door and it opened to somewhere else. She looked back at me with cold green eyes.

"If that is how you feel, fine. I thought this wouldn't change anything but apparently it did. Good day sir." She said and slammed the door shut behind her. What did I just do?!

"What have I done?" I asked myself forgetting Sebastian was there behind me.

"You drove your sister away. The one person whose love will always be unconditional no matter who or what she is. To make matters worse she is the life angel. Pure as a pearl and sweet as fruit. For all we know she could've gone to the demon that gets rid of said competition." Sebastian said.

"You mean to tell me that what that reaper told us is true?" I questioned hiding my fear. I still just couldn't believe she was one of them.

"Very much so my lord. Yesterday she had a demons scent on her. Meaning he came to see her and she was quite off while riding back to the manor. For all you know she can be snatched from you in an instant and taken forever." He said and looked away from my gaze to the door.

"What is a life angel?" I asked him.

"A life angel is like a reaper. They start off by collecting souls then they move up and deliver life when a child is born. Keeping both jobs in a balance and they come back every millennium. Meaning your sister was chosen because the last life angel was killed by a demon. The only way for your sister to be chosen is if she witnessed the angel get killed, or she was touched by the angel as an infant." Sebastian said looking at me and I thought back to when Celeste ran back home shivering violently before our parents were killed. Claiming that she saw someone get hurt outside. Never found out who.

"Sebastian this is an order bring her back." I said. He got down to one knee like always his hand on his chest and he looked down.

"Yes my lord." He said and walked away. What I said to her made me want to bang my head on the wall repeatedly. My little sister, my twin and I said that to her. I will understand if she won't forgive me. Now knowing that she may be in danger doesn't help me one bit. Will I leave her before she is with a demon? Will she accept anyone that goes to her? Will I be ready when such pairing happens? I cannot bare to see my sister in pain or sadness. I just want her back by my side so I can protect her myself with Sebastian. I will also order him to stay away from her.

A Week Later Celeste POV

I went to London to where I was needed it was plain day and I was waiting for the one who is supposed to be dying. This time it was a girl who just ran away from her abusive parents and was making her way to her aunts. To bad someone like her was scheduled to die today. The run away carriage came around the corner and hit her. No one was around and I went down. Her breathing gone and heart stopped. I examined her cinematic record and saw that she had a very painful life. A wonder this soul was still pure. I sent it on its way and left when I heard shouting. I made it to the ally and felt someone behind me. I turned quickly and was met by a person I least wanted to see at that moment. I turned and took to the roofs wanting to get away from Sebastian. Once on the roof I took off to the other side of London to collect the last soul for me at least. I swear I had ten but Will took some as a way to let me relax due to what Ciel told me. I landed on top of the home I was needed on and went into the room where everything was about to go down.

A man walked in and threw a girl to the ground and started beating on her. A shot was heard and a young boy held the gun the man started to fall and his cinematic record flew to me. I booked it and sent it to a different part of the society. One that will re-cleanse the soul and send it to hell for punishment first. Sadly that soul might never come back and see the gates of paradise. I walked out to the balcony and jumped up to the roof. I was grabbed and my back hit the side of the chimney. I looked up and saw Sebastian whose eyes were glowing again for like the fourth time since I have met him.

"Let me go Sebastian." I said firmly and not breaking eye contact with him. He didn't say anything. He treated me like a potato sack and put me over his shoulder, "Sebastian put me down this instant!" I yelled when he started to run to the direction of the manor (Well it appears that Claude's bride has been stolen by Bassy). He stopped minutes later and put me on my feet, "Oh William is gonna have my head. I am needed at the society Sebastian. I don't have time for this." I said and fixed my hair.

"Don't have time for what Celeste?" Ciel asked. Ah so he was outside.

"To deal with you and your demon. Bad enough that every time were together in London his eyes glow." I said as I walked to Ciel and looked at him square in the eye. He stared back at me with cold blue eyes, "Now you my dear brother need to smile always so gloomy." I said and turned when I felt a presence in the tree's, "Claude." I whispered.

"Look Ciel what ever it is can wait until tonight. Can it?" I asked him.

"No we have to talk now." He said and grabbed my hand.

"Ugh fine let me change so none of your servants see me like this." I said. He nodded and let my hand go. I walked into the tree's and looked around. Claude was nowhere in sight or on the land. Slowly my hair changed color and my eye's became their darker blue. My dress changed to a green long dress that brought out my figure. It was one I always wore when in the society so why not here? I walked back out and Ciel was waiting for me Sebastian nowhere to be seen, "What do you wish to speak about Ciel?" I asked him.

"Celeste I am sorry I said that to you. Can you forgive me?" He asked.

"I will but next time I won't. Only because you are my brother doesn't really mean I will always forgive you with certain things Ciel. Now may I go before William skins me alive?" I asked him. He nodded and I started on my way to his door. I opened it and closed it appearing in my room. William was standing there arms crossed.

"You took longer than you should have." He said.

"My brother had his demon kidnap me and take me to him. What do I need to do that is so secret?" I asked.

"The higher ups don't want you to be here reaping for quite a while. It's best if you stay with your brother for the time remaining and Grell will be taking your list. When we really need you I will personally go and escort you back here. That way no more demons kidnap you while on duty." He said.

"Oh come on it just happened once and it was taken care of by Claude." I said. I had a small flashback to when a random demon knocked me out and kidnapped me. An hour or so later I was saved by Claude and brought back to the society. William even thanked him but didn't bow his head like he did to Sebastian a while back.

"Doesn't matter. Now you're free to go back." William said.

"Not cool William. I will see you soon. I hope." I said. and opened the door to my room in the manor. Might as well go bug Ciel. I walked to his study and knocked on the door.

"Enter." Was all he said. I walked in and looked at him, "You're back a bit to early." Ciel said after I closed the door.

"What can I say I was forced into vacation for quite a while." I said.

"Well I have something I have to do in a village far from here. Will you accompany us?" He asked.

"Yes I will." I said.

"Then go pack we will leave tomorrow morning." Ciel said and I walked out the room. I closed the door and went to my room after a while I pulled out my small trunk and filled it with some dresses, four night gowns, and other necessities. Don't know how long we will be staying but better safe than sorry right?

The Following Day

"Holiday, holiday. We're going on a holiday. Holiday, holiday. We're going on a holiday." Mey- Rin, Bard and Finny sang together. I was reading a book because Ciel isn't great company to me. He was quiet half the ride here so I might as well read a mystery novel.

"This is so exciting honestly I can't believe it." Finny said.

"Spectacular. I can't believe he's actually bringing us. We get to go on holiday in the Queen's own resort." Mey- Rin said.

"Looks like the young master can be quite generous wouldn't you say? When the spirit moves him eh." Bard said. I heard them hum.

"Do you hear that master? They're very grateful to you. Such a kind master." Sebastian said.

"I couldn't leave them there. We might come back home to find the manor in shambles." Ciel said.

"You could've left me there with them Ciel." I said.

"Last time we did Lizzy redecorated the place." He said. I put my book down and looked at him.

"That only happened because she wanted to see you. Now I know why she stops by unexpectedly." I said and got back into my book.

"Indeed." Sebastian stopped the carriage, "It seems we have arrived in the village everyone." Sebastian said I looked up and dropped the book I was reading.

"Ciel remind me next time we are going somewhere I might want to stay with William." I said.

"So you know what happens here?" Ciel asked.

"Yes this was the first town I was assigned to reap souls. I hate this place because of what they do to the poor dogs." I said and looked at him.

"AHHH!" I heard the three scream.

"It appears I forgot to mention something. The resort the Queen is planning is yet to be constructed." Ciel said.

"Yes master." The three said. I could tell their spirits had been killed with that. The carriage started to move again and after a while Finny told Tanaka to stop. Sebastian stopped and I looked back at what was going on.

"Finny if your not careful you might hurt the baby." Mey- Rin said. Finny lifted the stroller over his head. I frozen then relaxed when I felt no soul in the stroller. I went back to ready my book I was in a good part now so it will be a while until I am pulled away from the book. After a while we reached the village and Ciel took my book.

"Seriously Celeste you can read any other time." He said.

"Well dear brother your not the best company around here and I prefer to have something to do. Are we close to Lord Henry's manor?" I asked and looked around. I saw lots of dogs and heard lots of barking.

"No it's nothing of import my Lord. Just that I love cats. I'm not especially fond of dogs. To be completely frank I hate them." Sebastian said with a closed eye smile. Ciel and me looked at each other and smiled.

"Woof." We did it at the same time. We were going up to the road leading to a old manor. When we stopped I felt the presence of an Angel. Oh great this cannot be good.

"I presume this is the Countess and Earl of Phantomhive." The maid said.

"Yes." Sebastian answered.

"Welcome to Barrymore castle. My master awaits your arrival." We were led inside my hand was on Ciel's. He literally had to drag me every now and then. Until Sebastian stood behind us I just walked normally, "This way please." She said. When we walked into the room I felt like fainting with all the heads around us. I heard a whip and we turned to look at the scene in front of us.

"Who the hell is this Chihuahua? I told you to bring me the Queens guard dog when he arrived." The idiot kept whipping her.

"Chihuahua?" Sebastian questioned. Ciel had his mouth wide open and he covered my eyes. Really now your gonna cover my eyes after he whipped her who know how many times?

"Can't you do," He whipped, "Anything," Hit her again, "Right?"

"Move Sebastian." Ciel said.

"What are you doing you filthy Doberman? Somebody should train you better? Let me go right now." The idiot said and Ciel uncovered my eyes. I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"He's acting on my orders." Ciel said.

"Who are you?" He asked Ciel.

"From the sound of it you already received the letter I sent." Ciel said as he pulled out a chair and sat down, "My name is Ciel the Earl of Phantomhive. This is my sister Celeste the Countess of Phantomhive." I stood behind Ciel looking at the man with cold eyes.

"Do you mean to tell me that a toy poodle like you is the Queens emissary?" The man said.

"First you're a Chihuahua and now you're a toy poodle. He needs to make up his mind." I whispered.

"You don't like small breeds Lord Henry? Now that is hardly fair." Ciel said.

"Ciel I'll go make sure the servants are doing as they must." I said and walked out not waiting for a response.

"Quit acting like a loon Finny we got bags to carry. Hurry it up." I heard Bard say. I ran up to them.

"Hey can I help?" I asked. Finny was still day dreaming so I ran over and jumped on him.

"Finny? Done day dreaming?" I asked. I heard laughing behind me. They must've thought I was like Ciel and that I couldn't be random.

"Lady Celeste, I'm sorry." Finny said.

"Sorry for what Finny? If it is about you day dreaming that is nothing to be sorry for." I said. He nodded and started walking into the mansion. I was still on him, "Say Finny am I heavy?" I asked.

"No Lady Celeste you're very light." He said.

"Everyone always tells me that. Oh well not something I have to worry about just yet." I said and got off from his back. I walked to where Ciel was at with Sebastian. Tanaka, Mey-Rin, and Bard had already finished taking the bags, "So what's your next move brother?" I asked him.

"Still haven't decided." He said.

"Did I miss something while I was with the servants?" I asked. He handed me my book and sat down looking at the other one I had brought.

"Just a senseless story about a curse." Ciel said.

"That sounds interesting." I said. Ciel nodded and started to read the book. I made my self comfortable on the bed and kept on reading my book. It was dark outside when I finally finished my book. Ciel was half way on the other one. I had a bigger book so there was no way he couldn't finish that book before me. There was a knock on the door and I looked up.

"Come in." Ciel said.

"I apologize for calling so late." Angela said.

"What is it that you need? My young master and mistress are about to retire for the evening." Sebastian said. Angela walked over to where Ciel was sitting at. I felt the presence of an angel again and I looked around. If I don't find where that angel is at I could be in danger. I looked around the room again and my eyes met with Sebastian's.

"I have a request to make. Leave the castle leave the village completely. You mustn't stay here." Angela told my brother.

"Why is that?" Ciel questioned.

"I can not say." She said and was cut off by a howl. The howl sounded very close and Angela started to freak out, "No the demon hound. Its coming!" Angela yelled. Are you gonna run out the room now? I questioned in my head.

"The what?" Ciel questioned. Angela closed her eyes and we tuned o the window on my right side. The was a dog shadow on the window, "Sebastian." Ciel said. Sebastian pulled the curtains out the way and the shadow was gone. I walked to the window with Ciel, "What was that thing?" Ciel asked when something that was glowing caught my attention.

"Master, mistress look there." Sebastian pointed at the figure that caught my attention. It was leaving behind a trail of something that was glowing. We went outside to look at what was left behind by the dog. Ciel went over and touched some of it. he rubbed it between his fingers and smirked.

"Master." Mey- Rin said.

"Angela." Finny said. I smiled at that a little.

"What's going on here what's all the fuss about?" Bard asked.

"The demon hound is here." Angela said.

"Demon hound?" The three questioned.

"It brings great catastrophe to the village. Anyone who dares to defy my master will be punished by the demon hound. That's the law here. There's no way to stop it." She said. I wasn't buying none of it. I looked over to the village and saw the cinematic record fly up and disappear. I wonder who is the one assigned to this village.

"Angela please find Lord Barrymore at once. The demon hound has come again." A man said. A mob had gathered already.

"Who was the punished one?" Angela asked. We went back to the village and saw the man from earlier, with the dog, dead. I looked around for the dog and didn't find it.

"How awful." Bard said. Ciel went to the body and lifted the arm a bit.

"So that's it then." I heard Ciel say.

"Stand back don't touch." Barrymore's voice said to Ciel. We looked back at him, "I see it was James then he was the bad dog."

"Yes. He broke the legal restriction of dog ownership. He has six dogs one more that is allowed." A man said.

"A sixth dog then this was inevitable." Lord Henry said.

"That's all you can say. Really?" Bard questioned.

"This village is under my rule and no other. The demon hound protects that rule. As the guardian of the Barrymore family it punishes anyone and everyone that dares challenge me." He said. The villagers started to chant A white dog is a good dog a good dog good, A black dog is a bad dog a bad dog bad, and so much more to it. I stopped listening half way.They took the body and walked away with it.

"I was sure you outsiders would be it's next prey. You were lucky to have escaped." Barrymore said and walked away.

"Well master?" Sebastian questioned.

The following morning the servants were in a bad mood. Mey- Rin came into the room I was staying in and looked through the wardrobe, "Mey- Rin is there something you need?" I asked her.

"Yes. Did you pack a bathing suit?" She asked me.

I smiled, "Of course I did," I got up and walked over to her, "it's right here." I pulled out a purple sailor styled bathing suit that I got from Grell a year ago. She took it and put it in a bag she had. Which I just noticed was there, "Are we going swimming?" I asked her. She nodded and left. Before the door closed Ciel came in.

"Come now Celeste we're leaving." He said. I walked over to him and let him lead me outside.

When we got to the lake the boys put the changing tent down and went to change first. Mey- Rin and I went to change and I saw we had the same style bathing suits. I started to laugh at it and saw her body was brought out. She was embarrassed to come out me on the other hand I walked out like a boss. I dived in and swam over to the boys.

"Are you coming out Mey- Rin?" Finny asked after he saw I was already out.

"No, I can't go out there. It's too embarrassing." She said.

"Come on now. You don't get a chance to do this everyday." Bard said. We were splashing water at each other when Mey- Rin came out.

"Oh this is absolutely humiliating." Mey- Rin said. We all went over to where Mey- Rin was at.

"No worries Mey- Rin you look lovely." Finny said. I nodded agreeing with him.

"You're not just saying that?" Mey- Rin asked.

"I bet you'll look even better without the glasses." Bard said.

"Oh No No No No! I can't the master gave them to me." Mey- Rin said and came to where I was at. We started splashing water at the boys. It got to the point where it was Finny, Tanaka, and me against Mey- Rin and Bard. Tanaka left us and Bard was splashing water on us.

"Hi Angela!" I heard Finny yell. I looked to the shore and saw her there. I also saw Sebastian walk away Ciel must've sent him to do something. I left and went to change back into a red and black dress. I walked over to Ciel.

"Sent him on an errand already." I said. Ciel nodded and continued his book. He kept on reading and I walked over to get a piece of cake. I just hope it's not too sweet. I went back to where Ciel was at and he took half of my piece of cake. Not that I care if I had eaten the whole piece myself I'd be super hyper.

"We found the dog. We caught him hurry the punishment is about to begin." Some people yelled and ran away. Ciel and me looked at each other and then it clicked. The dog was found. When we got there the poor animal was being bitten to death. My eyes started to tear up but the sight of everyone being there made me realize that none of them deserved to be called human. Much less be alive but it's not something I can change.

"Just let the poor thing go!" Finny yelled from behind me. He ran and picked a log up that was stuck in the floor, "Stop this now!" He yelled and hit the other dogs. We ran over to him and I looked back when I heard people move behind us. I got in a stance beside Ciel I would fight them if I needed to. All they worried about was about us interfering and that we needed to be punished. Ciel grabbed my arm and whispered no at me. I got out my stance and looked at him questionably. We were then chained next to each other and the servants at the stake. Talk about everything being a lie in this village.

"Not so powerful now are you?" Lord Barrymore questioned. They had six dogs. I'm guessing three for Ciel and three for me.

"Master I beg you show mercy this one time. These people doen't deserve the punishment." Angela said.

"You have a point. This little Pomeranian is the queens guard dog after all. If he can be made to see reason perhaps then I'll decide to let them go." Barrymore started, "Leave this village immediately and advice her majesty to never send her minions near it again." Barrymore said.

"You're so pathetic you rely on meager tricks to retain your meek power." Ciel said.

"If there's a stubborn dog here I say we're looking at him." I said.

"If that's your final choice you can learn what happens to a dog that challenges me. Get them." Barrymore said. The dogs started to run at us and Sebastian appeared and hit them all.

"You cut that too close." Ciel said.

"It's won't happen again. Trust me." Sebastian said. I looked back at the villagers and saw they had more dogs.

"You dare to interfere dog. Then what are you mangy mutts waiting for. Kill them all." Barrymore said.

"Shameful their grossly noisy growls. One of the reasons I despise these animals." Sebastian said. Sebastian looked at the dogs and they all laid down. Ha he gave them the eyes.

"What the. What did you do?" Barrymore questioned.

"Your pitiful farce ends here Barrymore." Ciel said.

"Listen there is no demon hound. It's all a lie. There's just him, an old man obsessed with power determined to keep it no matter what." I said.

"What? What evidence do you have?" Barrymore questioned me.

"There's this." Sebastian started and took a skull from a dog, "We found it in your mansion. I took the liberty of confirming that the teeth marks on James matched this skull. Do you see it now? The truth behind the demon hound?" Sebastian questioned and pointed at the sky, "The shadow is nothing but a projection. Just a transparent trick. The glowing is phosphorescent dust. Sprinkled on a normal dog." Sebastian said and started to drop some on the floor.

"The deamon hound is merely a illusion. A story made up by an evil man. The man you let rule your village. This man Henry Barrymore." Ciel said.

"No. It's all nonsense you can't fool them where's your evidence?" Barrymore questioned.

"Sebastian can you take these chains off so I can give them said evidence?" I asked. He nodded and freed me. I walked over to the dog and got down on my knee's, "You can rest. Your duty is done. I'll take it from here boy. Your master would be so proud of you." I said and took the cloth from it's mouth, "Such fine material. No wonder the dog was eager to hold on to it. Interesting behavior don't you think?" I asked and turned around holding the cloth out so everyone could see it.

"What. What the hell." He said.

"Yours a scrap of cloth from your pants. Torn off by James's dog when you attacked his master. You recognized it don't you?" I asked. Barrymore turned and tried to walk away. The villagers surrounded him.

"Give up Barrymore it's all over now." Ciel said. They carried him off saying Punish James killer. Sebastian freed Ciel while I freed the servants.

"I'm glad this is over yes I am." Mey- Rin said. I saw Finny walk over to the dog.

"You were one amazing pup. Loyal to defending his master to the very end. You were a good boy such a good boy." Finny said as he hugged the dog. I know he started to cry so I walked over and hugged. Finny to me was like another brother.

"There you go yet another reason why I hate dogs." Sebastian said. I grabbed a small pebble and flicked it at Sebastian's head. After I hit him straight on the forehead it started to rain.

We were back in Barrymore's manor and Ciel was looking out the window. I was sitting on the arm chair while Sebastian was readying the bed for Ciel, "Yet another case closed. We can leave the village when the rain lets up." Ciel said.

"Indeed." Sebastian said. After a while we heard Mey- Rin scream. Ciel started for the door the same time I did. I pulled it open and ran down to where Mey- Rin's scream came from.

Hey long time no see! Well guess what school is letting back in soon and this is one of the four stories that won't go on hold after so much thinking. Well enough about me lets hope next update comes before August 27th (My B-day can't wait). I went through and edited this well I tried. I'm tired peace out.
