Hello! So this is a picture of what I envisioned Xavier and Pippen. (And since they are identical twins they look the same. But y'all already knew that. XD) Anyway, enjoy the chapter!

- Olivia Koepp

I blinked. "What?" I asked, my brain not being able to comprehend it at all.

"I think we can hear each other's thoughts." She said again, but quicker and without all of the dramatic tone. "Think of something again." She ordered.

Um... Hello? I thought.

I saw her eyes widen in surprise.

Hello? I heard in my head.

My eyes widened as well.

"Oh my gosh." I said/thought.

Alysia gurgled and then slammed both hands over her ears.

"Yeow! Do not do that again."

"Do what?" I asked, the shock slowly fading and my excitement taking its place.

"Do that." She retorted.

"I don't know what you are talking about!" I shouted back.

"Just stop doing it."

"Oh, very helpful."

"I don't know how you did it, I think you got excited and thought and spoke at the same time."

I formed an "o" with my mouth. Alysia opened her mouth to say something when the bathroom door opened and a teen girl walked in.

We both closed our mouths tightly and watched her. The girl turned and looked at us weirdly as she passed and went into a stall.

We both looked at each other.

Lets go. I thought, hoping it would work.

I saw Alysia nod, Okay. I heard in my head.

This is so cool! I thought back.

No it is not, this should not have happened. I must have mispronounced a word wrong during the memory hopping we did last night. She replied.

Wait, so do we have to change it back? I asked, my disappointment evident in my body and tone.

I don't know how. I guess I will have to live with you always knowing my thoughts. By the way, try to keep your facial expressions normal. You look stupid because your body and face is showing expression even though you aren't talking out loud.

Oh...

We will have to experiment later. See how far we can go without hearing each other or if we can block each other out.

Gotcha.

I really hope we can block each other, otherwise my life will start to get miserable.

Oh, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.

"Oh, come on. Let's just go, we are already late. So let's not be any more late." Alysia growled. She was back to her normal self guys! Yay!

"I heard that." She said, a smirk of happiness faintly appearing.

I cursed.

We entered into a seperate room, and there in the middle- arguing- stood Xavier and Pippen.

"No, we do something that will be useful in the future." Xavier was saying.

"Yeah, but if we do something redundant it will probably make it unlock faster! That's what mine did! I did something completely boring and pointless and I unlocked in within days." Pippen argued out, his eyes beginning to glow red. "I did it in days and you did it in a week. So we just gotta do something pointless."

I took a deep breath in. Please don't leave me Alysia. I said in my mind.

Oh goodness, there is no chance I am leaving this. This is gold. They never argue. She replied, another smirk forming on her face.

Oh, that's just perfect.

"Oh. Hello, Celeste." Xavier said, scratching the back of his neck. His face flushed.

Pippen turned towards me, and blinked. The red glow gone.

"Sorry, we both have different ideas on how to train people." Xavier explained, "I tried to tell Regila that we should train you separately, but she just would not have it... " He said, his jaw flexing as he glanced at Pippen.

"Okay-y." I said as I bit my bottom lip.

Xavier nodded, itched the side of his nose. I glanced behind him at Pippen and saw his miming gagging himself.

I bit my bottom lip harder, trying not to laugh.

Xavier turned and saw Pippen and slapped him upside the head.

They never do this, it's hilarious to see them fighting. I heard Alysia say into my head.

Your sense of humor disturbs me.

"Anyway." Xavier continued on, "let's get on with the first training session." He walked to a door on the other side of the smaller room.

Goodbye, loser. I heard Alysia say into my mind.

Thanks. I replied, biting back what I was going to say.

Xavier opened the door and he and Pippen walked through, I followed quickly behind them and the door shinked behind us. "This, is your first test." Xavier introduced, his arm showcasing the whole room in a very dramatic way.

I looked around, we were in a circular room and there was a long rectangular table. On the table sat, let's see one, two, three- thirteen items.

"What is this?" I asked, biting my bottom lip again.

"This is your first test," Pippen said, "Regila showed it to us when she first picked us up off of the street. So what you are going to do, is pick each item up and hold it. If you feel something, bring it forward. If not, put it back. You will know once you pick up the item or items."

"Okay-y..." I walked forward and stood in front of the first item. It was a lit candle on a silver candlestick. I picked it up and looked at it, I blinked before putting it back down. I don't really know what they wanted me to look for, or feel for. I moved on to the next item, it was a simple smooth white rock. I picked it up, and rubbed it with my thumb. I put it back down. Next was a 9-volt battery, I picked it up. Didn't feel anything weird, so I put it back down in its place. Next was an imitation of the sun, once I picked it up. I put it back down. It was the same thing for the imitation of the moon, a cup full of water, and a flower.

Next was a simple painting of the sky, I picked it up and I don't really know what I felt. But I felt something super weird, like a weird sense of dejavú... I placed it back down, but instead of putting it back, I placed it in front of all the other objects. I continued on, next was a jar with salt water sealed in it. I put it down. Next was an ice cube, I set that down as well. Next was a beautiful antique hand mirror, I picked it up and put it down. The final object was a jar, and I could tell that there was something inside of it that was just dying to get out.

I cocked my head to one side and stared at it, it was very entrancing. I picked up the jar and it stopped shaking. I set it back down quickly, once I did though. The shaking started again. I bit my bottom lip and picked the jar up- and yet again- the rateling stopped.

I put my face to the jar and squinted at it, I couldn't see anything in the jar. But I felt something inside of it, it needed to be taken out. It needed to be set free. It was not supposed to be held in a jar, it was not supposed to be held captive. It was supposed to fly free. Dance free. Roam free.

I felt Xavier and Pippen's eyes boring into the back of my head. I stared at the jar. Thinking. Then it came to me, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. It felt cruel to keep whatever it was in this jar in here.

So I opened the lip and set whatever was inside free.

I heard a clapping behind me.

"Bravo." Said Pippen, I turned and saw them both clapping.

"Let's see what you have." Xavier jogged to the table, he picked up the- now empty- jar and the painting of the sky. "Well, looks like we know what your element is!" Shouted Pippen, obviously getting excited. "Now we just have to help you unlock it."

"Cool?" I said, taking the jar back from Xavier and putting it back in its spot.

Xavier followed my movement. "Okay, now. Before we do anything else, we are going to do what Alysia should have brought you to first. And that is the workout."

I inwardly groaned. "Fine..." I groaned.

"Well then, let's move on." He said. "Follow me." He turned to walk out of the door we came in.

"You mean us, right?" Pippen corrected, following after him.

I rolled my eyes and put down the jar before jogging to catch up with them. I did my run on the treadmill for 30 minutes, then several different workouts that didn't take too long, then finally cooling down with some yoga. When I was done, I came back to Xavier and Pippen sitting on the floor with a notebook and a pen in their hand and writing stuff down.

"Okay, I am done." I said, panting. "I need to re-fill up my water bottle, do you know where a water fountain is? I haven't seen one anywhere." I said holding up my water bottle for them to see and shaking it so they know it's empty.

"Uh, there is one by the entrance..." Pippen said, completely absorbed in whatever they were doing to spare me any notice.

I rolled my eyes and went to refill my water bottle.

"So, what did you pick up?" Alysia said, her face flushed from working out.

"What?" I asked, jumping.

"In the room, what item "called to you."" She put the last phrase into air quotes.

"Um. The painting of the sky and the jar of wind?" I answered in question form.

"That's what I anticipated."

"Okay." I said, speeding up. "I just need to finish my training. We can finish talking after I'm done."

"Oh, sorry, puker." She said, her slightly excited tone going to the usual droning tone of voice. I rolled my eyes.

Very original. I thought, but it was to late. She had already heard me.

""Very original?"" She said. "Oh, we're going to be talking about this later." She said, a grin spreading across her face. Evidently happy that she was about to pound me.

And there we go, I hope you guys enjoyed it! Don't forget to tell me what you guys think! Until next chapter. <3
