Meg Turney- Seal of Approval (c)
Meg was the light of your life. You got along better than you had ever imagined you could get along with another human. She was a truly lovely person, and talented with everything she did, even though she was incredibly modest when it came to her talent. Although you had been in a happy relationship with Meg for a few months, you hadn't had the opportunity to meet any of Meg's colleagues.
You knew a lot about them and couldn't wait to meet them, but a convenient moment simply hadn't arisen. Even though all of them seemed lovely, you had exceptional excitement in meeting Trisha. Trisha was one of Meg's closest friends at work, and you had been told if the relationship was going to work long term, you would have to receive the Trisha seal of approval. It slightly terrified you. From what you'd been told Trisha was lovely, but you were scared of what would be needed to get her approval.
Being hopeful, you did assume that she would love you and approve, but if she didn't would Meg really leave you? Was her friend's opinion more important than you?
Trying to throw that thought from your mind, you walked by Meg's side to go to lunch with the famous best friend Trisha Hershberger. You clung onto her hand, which made her chuckle softly at your nerves as she knew there was no reason to be nervous.
As you entered the café a short brunette, about Meg's height, stood up with a wide smile on her face. Her arms wrapped around Meg pulling your hand from the redheads.
"Meggie," she squealed squeezing her tight. "And this must be the famous Y/N."
The dark-haired woman pulled you into a warm hug, although she looked very small, she was a lot stronger than she seemed.
"And you must be Trisha," you croaked, losing breath from the tight hug.
"That I am," she smiled warmly. "Meg has told me so much about you, she's very fond of you."
You could help but smile as she let you go, a soft blush appearing on your face.
"Y/N's been worrying about meeting you, but I told her not to worry," Meg smirked, with a signature 'I told you so' look.
Seeing the big grin on Trisha's face and her kind eyes, it was pretty evident that there was no reason to worry about her at all. She was a nice person and as you talked more you realised she was a kind soul that as long as you were equally kind and made Meg happy she'd more than happily approve of you.
Trisha gave you another hug as you and Meg went to leave the café.
"Does that mean I get the Trisha seal of approval?" You questioned kindly, trying to make a joke of it, but truthfully you were still slightly worried that she wouldn't.
"Of course," she grinned. "You be good to my Meg, you seem nice and I don't want to have to hurt you."
