A Loki oneshot featuring the amazing  lamo2004

Elene's POV:

It was a normal day in New York City. Me and my friend Lauren were shopping around time square, when we saw a news report of a giant attacking New York. It wasn't any normal giant, it was Loki the god of mischief. What did he want this time? And how did he manage to get this big? I thought to myself. I looked at Lauren, who looked terrified. "As much as I love shopping, we have to stop him before he causes further damage." She said. "But, didn't the avengers say not to get into such dangerous missions?" I asked.
Yes, the two of us are superheroes, recruited by the Avengers themselves. They are very overprotective of us and our friend Peter Parker AKA Spiderman, who I happened to have a huge crush on. They don't let us come on any dangerous missions and only let us do "safer", boring missions....yet they were nowhere to be seen, which meant it was up to us to stop Loki from doing any further damage. I never felt this scared my whole entire life, I could feel my heart beating as if it were about to fly out of my chest. I only hoped, we weren't too late. "I don't think the two of us can handle him." Lauren said, bringing me back to reality. "We need to call Peter." She added. I pulled down my sleeve, revealing my communicator and sent the message to Peter. "He is on his way, let's suit up." I whispered to Lauren.
I used my necklace to make my skyblue jumpsuit appear, while Lauren used her bracelet to make her golden and green jumpsuit appear.
I was worried, worried, that we would fail, what would the Avengers think if we failed? How would they react if they had found out, that we had gone to fight Loki without them. "L-lauren, I am scared." I whispered. "Don't be, we can do this, Elene. We can defeat him. We have powers, remember?"
Yes, the two of us had our our distinct superpowers. Lauren's power was earth and fire manipulation,while I harnessed the power to manipulate water and air. Peter had his web shooters as his weapon. But were our abilities enough to defeat Loki? I had no idea.

——————————-Time Skip——————————

After Peter joined us, we went to the location Loki was last seen at and there he was taunting at citizens of New York City. He was sooo big, his foot could crush the three of us with no effort, even his fingers would tower over us. "I can't believe we are seeing Loki in person." Said Lauren, looking up at him. "Me neither." I said, looking up at him in pure horror. "What are we waiting for? Let's take him down." Said Peter. I didn't reply as I was busy daydreaming about him. "Earth to Elene?" Said Lauren snapping me out of my daydream. Just then Peter started preparing his web shooters to shoot Loki. "Peter, wait...do-"
It was too late, Peter shot the web fluid at Loki, causing him too shift his attention to us. I froze in fear. He was looking right at us, his huge green orbs staring right into our souls. He wore a green, black and golden suit with a black cape and a golden headpiece with two huge horns. His face displayed a smirk of mischief and evil.

-"Well, well, well...what do we have here?" His voice boomed over us causing us to scream and back off from him as far away as possible. He knew what we were doing since he reached his hand out to grab us. With all my might, I quickly used my powers to move the water from a nearby fountain and created a shield to prevent him from coming nearer. It wasn't easy keeping the shield up since it took a lot of my physical strength and power. Soon I was getting tired, but I refused to lower the shield, there was no way I was letting this monster hurt my friends and me.

-"Keep your shield up, all you like, girl, but you're getting tired and so does your shield. Soon it will be weak enough to penetrate through." Loki laughed with a mean glint in his eyes.

-"We are not afraid of you, Loki!! The avengers may not be around, but as long as we stand, you shall not win." Lauren said.

-"Yes, go Lauren!" Said Peter, cheering.

-"You're quite a brave girl, but courage is not enough to defeat me, I am Loki, god of mischief, prince of Asgard, son of Odin, brother to Thor."

Lauren and Peter looked at Loki in shock, while I was keeping the shield up to prevent Loki from grabbing us. Soon, I could feel my energy slipping as I got more and more tired. Lauren and Peter tried to help me by keeping Loki away using their powers, but it was no use....
Soon enough he penetrated the shield with one hit of his finger tip, causing me to fall since it had hit me hard in the abdomen, causing me to whimper in pain. I looked up at him in utter horror.

-"Not bad, young one, but a shield can not defeat me so easily." He taunted at us.

-"Now, what to do with you?" He smirked, looking down at us.

I tried to get up to move away, but my body was still exhausted. Loki was about to grab me, when Peter picked me up bridal style, moving me away from him. I blushed hard from this sudden action.

-"ummm, t-thank you, Peter." I said, blushing

-"I-ii, n-no problem, Elene." Peter replied, blushing as well. Omg could it be, that he likes me back? I don't know...let's hope he does.

I was busy being invested in my own thoughts, that I forgot about Peter holding me.

-"Peter, you can put me down now." I giggled.

-"Oh I-ii....sorry." He said, letting me go.

-"I hate to ruin your little romantic moment, but we still have a giant god to deal with." We heard Lauren say.

-"Loki, god of mischief, prince of Asgard, son of Odin...please, leave New York alone. You caused enough terror in the city and killed innocent people."
Lauren said, moving a step forward to face HIM.

-"If you really think a simple speech will convince me to stand down little one, you're very wrong." He said, reaching his hand out to grab us.

We backed off, terrified, knowing what our fate was. We waited for him to grab us and then it came, I could feel my body being lifted off the ground. I knew kicking free was hopeless since he could easily overpower us. We were soon raised up to his eye level as we slowly came face to face with a huge pair of emerald green eyes, that had a mean glint. I was scared...understatement, I was petrified, we were completely at his mercy and there was nothing we could do about it.
-"Is this how we're going to die?" I whispered to Lauren and Peter. They shrugged. "I hope not." Said Lauren, who was clearly just as terrified as me.

-"What do I do with you now?" Said Loki, smirking.

-"Please, please don't hurt us. If you want to kill us, just get it over with." I said, closing my eyes, shaking out of fear.

-"What are your names, little ones?" He asked.

-"My name is Lauren." Said Lauren.

-"My name is Peter, but I prefer Spiderman." Said Peter.

-"And what about you?" He asked.

-"Umm...m-my name is Elene, sir." I answered shyly, keeping my eyes on his green eyes, inspecting me closely, nearly penetrating through my soul.

Loki's POV:

The three teenagers were completely at my mercy. I held them in my grip as they wriggled, hopelessly trying to get out of my grip. Now I could get a closer look and decide what to do with them. In my hand I held a small boy, who was about the size of my pinky and two girls, who were slightly shorter than him. They all looked terrified, petrified even...usually I'd taunt at beings I considered lesser than me, but there was something about these three teens, that I could quite put my finger on. A part of me wanted them to be scared, but another part of me felt guilt. I looked at the tiny teens in my hand.

-"Let us go, please." They all begged.

I stood there, quietly holding them in my hand. Soon after I opened my hand and held them on my palm. They all fit nicely onto it. When I looked at them closely, I saw them scared, holding hands in fear.

-"I believe we haven't talked properly." I said, looking down at them.

-"Of course we haven't, you attacked the city." They answered.

-"Well young ones, you're too young to understand my actions and meanings behind them."

-"We can understand, that there is no good intended." They answered.

Elene's POV:

Loki chuckled at our response. He seemed to find us amusing despite us being dead serious. We knew fighting was pointless, especially since he could crush us with his hand with no effort. I looked at him in fear, hoping he'd let us go and leave New York.

-"Don't worry Elene, everything is going to be ok." Said Lauren, putting her hand on my shoulder.

-"Thanks for all the positivity, but we're still in a giant situation." Peter said, turning to face Loki.

-"You guys amuse me, maybe I should take you back with me to Asgard and keep you with me." He said, causing shivers to go down my spine. As much as I wanted to see Asgard I was in no way willing to be Loki's prisoner.
I did not like the part of being trapped in a cage nor my freedom restricted. I didn't want to be taken away from my home, friends, family and the avengers.

-"Sir, please...please don't." I said. I felt hot tears stream down my face. Lauren joined soon after.

-"I don't want to leave home." She said, hugging me.

Loki's POV:

That is when my frozen heart felt bad. What is this feeling? Is this even normal? Why is there liquid pouring out of me? I asked myself, shocked. Why was I feeling bad for these kids? Are they messing with my psychic?

-"What are you doing to me?" I asked.

-"Sir, we're not doing anything, you are." Peter answered.

I stayed silent. How was I doing all of this? Is this some kind of a spell? Somebody help me....

I then did most unexpected. I knelt down and placed the kids down on a building, letting them go. What is going on with me?

-"You're letting us go?" Asked Lauren, looking me in the eyes.

-"As a matter of fact, I am." I said.

-"A part of me suddenly feels bad about taking you away from your home."

-"That is called compassion, sir." They answered.

-"You don't have to call me sir, please call me Loki."

-"Oh alright then." They answered

Elene's POV:

He then stood up to his full height and was about to walk away, when Lauren came forward and called for him.

-"Are you going to leave?" She asked?

He knelt back down and looked us in the eyes.

-"I will be heading back to Asgard now, I'll see you again when I come back here." He said giving a mischievous smile, causing me to flinch a little.

-"Just kidding, I will not be attacking." He said and stood back up, walking away after giving us a wink.

We looked at each other, not believing what had just happened to the three of us. This was all too
Much to take in at once. I thought about what happened and smiled. We had stopped Loki from destroying New York and he showed us a side of him, we never thought we would. I am really excited for what more the future has in store, who knows, maybe a future visit from him?

We'll never know....
