Naya's POV

"Table for two please" I smile and the waiter nods his head.

"You can follow me"

"Can I please have a cup of coffee?" I ask in a slight desperate voice and he chuckles a bit as I sit down.

I think he understands my need for something warm because it is fucking cold today. There are talks about a blizzard on the way but nobody can confirm anything. It's definitely colder and the weather predicted heavy snowfall tonight.

Our director even canceled all our shoots for the rest of the week which I'm happy about. I wouldn't mind staying indoors cuddling my girlfriend.

"Hey sis"

I look up and see Lara taking a seat across from me. "Oh hey, if I'd known you'd be here so quickly I would've ordered you some coffee."

"It's fine, don't worry. I basically ran the last block" she laughs. "It's so cold."

"It is really cold, did you see the news about the blizzard?" I ask her.

"Yeah, apparently it will hit New York on Thursday and all through the weekend." She sighs. "Jared is in California but I called him and said he should fly back tonight. I don't want to be alone in that storm."

"I don't need to call Alex, I am one hundred percent sure she will be in my bed tonight. She hates this weather." I laugh.

I will call her a bit later because I know she has practice now. She hasn't even seen my good morning texts which I'm not happy about. We have a rule that we have to reply, even if it's just thumbs up.

I just have to know that she's okay. But I'll talk to her about that later.

The waiter brings over my coffee and Lara orders one herself.

"So what have you been up to?" She asks with a soft smile. "I saw you did a shoot the other day. How did it go?"

"It was good" I nod my head. "I was a little shocked that I would get one so soon, with the few scars left on my body but it went really well."

"That's great news, I only did about three in the last couple of weeks but I should be grateful for the time off because I am going to Europe in two months."

"Oh yes then you'll be working your ass off." I sigh in sympathy. "I'll check my schedule then maybe I can swing by to visit you."

"Please do" she pouts. "The weather won't be great but I'll buy you all the coffee you want."

My phone starts ringing and my face lits up at the name on my screen.

"Oh so you didn't forget about me?" I answer the phone in a sarcastic tone.

"Babyyyyy" she whines. "I'm so sorry" she chuckles. "I was late this morning and I literally ripped off my clothes and jumped in the pool."

"Hmmm lame excuse" I roll my eyes and Lara laughs.

"Who is that?" She asks.

"I'm not going to tell you because you've made it clear that we don't share any details about our days."

"What?" She gasps at the other end. "That's not fair baby."

"It is, I don't know your whereabouts and you don't know mine." I laugh.

"Well you know where I went, so tell me who the fuck is laughing in the background."

"Oh baby, your jealous side is really sexy." I smile and slightly bite my lip.

"Naya" she laughs in frustration. "Just tell me please."

I hold the phone out to Lara and she takes it. "Hello this is Angelina" she talks in high pitch voice and I cover my mouth to laugh.

"How'd you know it was me?" She gasps and I laugh because I knew she wouldn't get away with it.

"Well your girlfriend is really mad at you" she laughs and looks at me.

"Oh yes I am" I chuckle and just scan through the menu.

"There's nothing I can do for you honey" Lara laughs and I call back for my phone.

"Okay, talk to you later, love you" she quickly rushes before she gives me the phone.

"Baby, where are you?" I slightly whine and cover my face to hide my pout.

I really miss her, I haven't seen her in three days. Our different schedules just didn't allow it and we both needed some sleep. Especially her, she wakes up really early and then some nights she has a practice till almost past ten o'clock.

She also went to Vegas for two days which was really hard for me because I couldn't go with her. I was really excited for a little getaway with her but it was during the week so it didn't work out as I imagined.

"I'm still at the pool baby, I'll be done in about an hour but I'm meeting Brian at the studio."

"And your practice tonight?"

"Last one for the week I promise. I told Casey this morning to minimize it to two times a week."

"I miss having breakfast with you" I say in a low voice and I glance up to see Lara busy on her phone, respecting my privacy.

"I know baby, me too. I promise this weekend I'm all yours."

"Okay" I sigh. "And you owe me a lot of sex"

This makes Lara look up at me and she laughs but I just shrug.

"I promise" Alex also laughs at the other end.

"My hand is getting tired"

"Naya!" Lara gasps in laughter and looks around our table to see if anyone heard us but I don't really care.

"Please tell me you're joking"

"I'm not" I shrug with a slight chuckle. "I've been reading this book and-"

"Naya, are you fucking serious?" She laughs but I can hear the anger in her tone.

"No baby, I'm joking" I laugh but shake my head at Lara because I am lying.

I will tell her when I see her which I always do, this is just not the time for this conversation.

"I will burn that fucking book"

"I was just kidding baby, go back to your practice. Call me a little later okay?"

"I'll definitely call you later, that book has nothing on me"

"No it doesn't" I laugh. "I love you"

"I love you too"

I put the phone down and look up to Lara's raised eyebrow. "Did you just lie to her?"

"I did yes" I smile and take a sip of my coffee. "She knows about my solo activities" I say in a low voice.

"The whole restaurant knows about your solo activities now" she laughs and I look around to see everyone in their own conversation.

"Oh whatever" I roll my eyes and go back to the menu. "But I'll tell her when I see her. It's been a few days for us."

"Ahhh me too" she slightly pouts. "But Jared hates it when I.." she pauses and I give her a knowing smile.

"But he can?"

"Oh no it goes both ways"

"Bullshit" I laugh.

"Yeah I didn't even believe it when I said it" she admits. "But I really don't"

"You should" I urge her on. "I found this amazing website and we got some new-"

"Are you ready to order?"

We both look up at the waiter and we give him a slight nod before we give him our usual order.

"I think we should have this conversation another time, I don't want our sex lives to be in the news tomorrow."

"Yeah, you're probably right" I laugh. "I'm very frustrated though."

"You'll see her tonight" she smiles. "And hopefully my man will be here too."

"I'll give him a call" I smile and send her a quick wink which makes her laugh.

I don't see Lara as much as I want to because her schedule is also busy but we always make time to have breakfast together atleast once a month. She comes to my house whenever she wants too but I like our little breakfast tradition. I like spending some quality time with her.

After a tiring day I get out of the shower and put on my sleepwear. As I brush my hair I take a quick look at my phone to see if Alex maybe called me while I was in the shower but I sigh when I don't see anything.

I sit comfortably in my bed and go through my lines for next week. I have a few scenes I need to prepare for. I know most of it but I just want to go through everything again while I have the time.

I check my phone and see it's almost ten which makes me frown a bit. Alex had a training session with Casey tonight but she should be home by now. She probably made a stop, hopefully to eat something.

I shake away the worried thoughts and continue with my lines.

I really thought I would see her tonight, I need some alone time with her. It's also really cold tonight and I want to keep her warm.

Suddenly I hear a door open and close downstairs and my heart starts racing. Someone is in my house. Did I not lock the door?

I sit up in my bed and try listening for any other sounds. Maybe it was something else.

A few seconds of silence and I almost jump in my skin when my phone starts ringing beside me. I take a quick breath of relief when I see it's Alex calling me.

"Hey baby" I whisper and slowly pull the covers over my mouth.

"Hey, are you sleeping?"

"No I'm not sleeping yet baby, but I think someone is in my house" I whisper and try my best to keep my heart calm.

"Oh shit" she chuckles. "It's just me"

"What?" I sit up with a frown.

"Sorry baby it's just me"

"Are you serious?" I say in a louder tone and get out of bed.

"Yeah"

I walk down the hallway and put on the staircase lights. Just then she comes into view and I take a breath of relief.

"Fuck baby, you scared me" I breathe out and rest my arms against the wall.

"I'm so sorry" she says in a concerned tone and rushes up the last few steps. "I didn't think you were already sleeping."

"It's okay" I slightly chuckle and catch her body as she reaches out to me. "What are you doing here? It's late" I whisper and cup her face for a soft kiss.

"I missed you" she whispers and rests her head against mine. "I just wanted to feel you"

I smile when I feel her hands run up and down my back. "I missed you too" I whisper and hug her tight around her neck. "I was actually hoping you would come over."

She holds me for a bit but then her hands move underneath my ass and she picks me up. I slightly chuckle but wrap my legs around her waist.

As we walk to my bedroom I switch off all the lights. We get to my room and she gently lays me down on the bed.

"Are you working?" She asks as she hovers over me.

"Just going over some lines" I whisper and run my hands over her cheeks.

"Can you take a break?" She asks with a smug smile on her face and her hips press a little harder into me.

"Yes, I can take a break" I smile and run my thumb over her lips. She kisses my thumb and then leans down to kiss me.

I wrap my legs around her waist and wait for her lips to find mine again. Without permission she slips her tongue into my mouth and I slightly moan at the unexpected intensity but also welcome it without a second thought.

"Yes" she whispers back and her hands roam the skin of my back.

I reach down to the hem of her sweatshirt and slowly pull it over her head.

"Hmmmm" I sigh in content as I push her back to the mattress. "I can just look at you."

"Yes you can" she smiles. "And I can look at you"

"Yes you can, it'll be for your pleasure and punishment." I smirk and her smile holds a little confusion.
