Naya's POV

After breakfast we just relaxed in bed together watching endless movies and tv shows. We did absolutely nothing and it was the best day. We ordered clothes online because we were too lazy to actually leave and also we couldn't exactly leave in the same clothing. Smart move on her side. I on the other hand chose to still wear her clothes after another amazing bath this afternoon. Even though she is next to me the whole time her clothing comforts me so much.

We are currently waiting for our dinner to arrive. Still wrapped up in each other making out like we have been doing the whole day.

Her lips are so addictive and her tongue can compel me to do anything she wants. Her hands placed next to my head to support her weight. I would love nothing more to feel her body on me but like a few times earlier today we realised that it's not the best idea. My hands however have made progress to touching her back inside her shirt every once in a while other than holding onto her hips. I have to control myself not to grab her perfect round ass because then it would be over.

Her one hand holds the side of my neck as she slowly explores my mouth. It's almost been 10 minutes of non-stop kissing and I am definitely not complaining.

I know I am ready to take things further and I know she is ready but in a hotel room. That isn't really romantic. It actually doesn't matter as long as it's her but I know she wants it to be meaningful and special and so do I. But I can't shake the thought that her dreams are keeping us from going further. We didn't really continue our conversation about it and I could tell she didn't want to but it's still lingering in my mind.

After a few more minutes a disappointing knock on the door broke us apart. Swollen red lips and heavy breathing as we stare at each other with big smiles.

We ate our dinner and the rest of the night went by relaxing. We cuddled and I asked Alex about what kind of apartment she would want. We talked about going out tomorrow to go get coffee at Celine's. I explained to her that if there are people with cameras we should just keep walking and don't pay them any attention. She really seemed excited to hold my hand on the street and honestly so am I. I knew it wasn't just for the fame. It's because she doesn't have to hide anymore. Nobody knows who she is yet and it's not going to be like that forever but she really doesn't care. All she wants is when we are alone that I am all hers and I made that promise to her. She understands the fame and responsibilities and I understand why we need that balance. We need quality time together and I will make sure we get that.

My phone going off next to us shakes me from my thoughts and we both turn our attention away from the tv that is hanging on the wall in front of us. I hava had a few calls from my friends today congratulating me. It's like we are engaged or something but I guess they really care and they all know my situation. I haven't felt about someone like this in a really long time and they are just really happy for me.

I open a text from Cory with a big smile.

"Nixxxx!!! You son of bitch😏. I just saw that beautiful woman you are hiding and I have to say WELL DONE!!!👌 I am so happy you finally shared her with us and know the world will know how truly happy you are. You deserve this more than any of us Naya. I can't to finally meet her and see her in real life. Then we will know if you were over exaggerating. Probably not😋  Listen if you are not doing anything tomorrow, Lea and I would love to have coffee with you and then we can get to know her? "

"What do you think?" I turn my attention to Alex who did not read the text with me like a thought. She is munching on popcorn laughing at the tv with her hand constantly placed on my thigh. "Alex" I say getting her attention mid-bite and a few popcorn pieces peak through her lips and I can't help but laugh at how cute she is.

"Hmm? sorry" She apologizes chewing the remainder of her her popcorn.

"You can totally say no to this but Cory and Lea wants to have coffee with us so they can meet you?" I say a bit hesitant not sure if she would do it.

"Oh yeah of course. As long as I get my Vanilla coffee I will meet all of your friends" she smiles giving me a kiss.

"Really? You would do that?" I ask a bit surprised.

"Yeah why not? They are your friends and eventually you will meet a few of mine right?"

"Absolutely, I can't wait to meet them and hear all they stories you don't want to tell me but honestly I just thought you wouldn't want to yet"

"We are going to get coffee anyway Naya and besides I will be living here in a couple of weeks and then I will probably see them often."

"Yeah that is true but still if you are not comfortable then we don't hav-"

She cuts me off with a kiss that turns into a smile and then laughter because she pushes me over on my side squeezing my cheeks, kissing me all over. "Ok,ok" I surrender.

"Now stop this bullshit and say we will see them tomorrow" she says as we both sit up again.

"Ok, ok" I smile and text Cory back.

In the meantime Alex has turned her attention back to the tv. I have thrown my one leg over hers and she slowly runs her hand up and down my thigh while I am busy going through my phone. I still get likes and comments on my post about us and everytime I see the picture I immediately smile. She really does make me happy. Right now doing absolutely nothing, just sitting in bed watching a movie with her and I am the happiest I have ever been. I am definitely looking forward to more nights like this.

"Wait, when you said a couple of weeks you meant like 2 weeks maximum right?" I tap her arm for her attention.

"It depends on how fast the paperwork go and moving all my things from back home" she smiles clearly seeing my concern that I need her here as fast as possible.

"But the paperwork is fast and you can't have that many things to move down here?" I frown not liking her answer that much.

"No I don't but paperwork for buying takes a bit longer than renting"

"You're buying a place?" I ask sitting up a bit.

"Yeah" she smiles. "I don't believe in renting and besides it's always a good investment to have a place in New York and now is my chance"

I scratch my head a bit not really sure how to process this information. I didn't know she would buy or her mother would buy. Wait is it her or her mother. "Can I ask you a personal question?"

"Always" she smiles.

"Will it be your place or your mother's place? Like is she buying it?" I ask a bit hesitant.

She smiles and laces her fingers with mine. "Ok uhmm I guess this is a good a time to tell you this but I will be buying an apartment not my mother. When me father died he left us with a lot of money and when I turned 18 another fund came available just for me. And since then I have invested in a few projects and also a few properties."

My mouth is slightly open in shock as I look at her. "Huh." now I know how she can afford taking me out to dinner last night. I always thought her mother gave her money but now I know.

"Yeah so I knew with me so focused on diving and not really thinking about a daily job. I had to make sure I have something to fall back on when I get injured again. You know you get paid by sponsors and stuff like that but you can't rely on that forever because eventually it will change. And it did change for me. Luckily I had my mom back then when I lost all my sponsors but now I want to take care of myself  and now I have money to spoil my girlfriend" she smiles kissing my hand.

"Uhmm I don't really know how to respond to that. This is where the consistency comes in again right?"

"You know me so well" she winks at me.

"Ok wow this is really embarrassing. I haven't thought about it that way" I say actually feeling really stupid.

"No,no, it's not the same. When you do a sport it's different. If I want to earn money I have to be really good at it otherwise it's just a hobby. And after what happened with my hand it just made me realise that I need something else if I wanted to continue with my dream. Your dream will always get you money. You can sing, dance, act, model. There are many ways you can make money. With me, I won't make money, probably for the next year. And I knew that would happen so I made a plan"

"It's a really fucking good plan. I think I need to do that as well. I do have my house now but I think I need to invest in something as a safety net."

"It's always good to have a safety net. And if you want my mother can help you with that. She is not a property lawyer but she does all my paperwork and she would love to help you if you decide on buying property" she says rubbing my arm in a comforting way.

"Would she really?" I ask excited. I could really use her help because I am clueless.

"Of course she will." She says giving me a soft kiss. "But can you not tell anyone about this please. I don't anyone to know"

"Yeah of course. But why did you tell me then?" I ask confused.

"You aren't just anyone and I know now you aren't dating me for my money"

I can't help but laugh at her. "Really?"

"You never know the motives of some people" she shrugs.

"So what are your motives to date me?" I ask with a raised eyebrow. "Obviously not my money"

"I already told you my motives" she smiles.

"When?" I ask not sure she did.

"Shhh" she says kissing me to distract me.

"Ale-" I say but she cuts me off by deepening the kiss pushing me back onto the bed. I laugh between kisses but she doesn't stop. My hands wrap around her neck and I hold her in place. As much as I want to know her motives, kissing her is definitely one of mine so I will do just that. For now.

....

Waking up from a dreamless sleep with a minor heart attack. Alex has jumped from the bed breathing heavily and it immediately caught my attention.

"Alex" I say in a concerned voice.

"Sorry, sorry" she says getting back in bed.

"Are you ok?" I ask as she wraps her arm around my waist and place her head on my shoulder. I immediately hold onto her rubbing her back.

"Just hold me" she whispers.

"Ok" I whisper back. I can hear the need in her voice. And I really want to talk to her about it but I am respectful of her choice not too. So I just hold her.

Again I wake up and this time it's much lighter but I don't feel her next to me. I quickly turn around and look to her side and there she is. I roll over and wrap my arm around her. I give her a kiss on the cheek and she smiles. "Good morning beautiful" she whispers.

"Good morning baby" I whisper against her ear in a breathless voice with a big smile on her face. She smiles and I can see her blushing so I kiss her again. "How am I awake before you?"

"I was awake this whole time."

"Then why are you way over here when you should be holding me?" I pout.

"I was holding you but you had some sort of sexy dream and your ass kept grinding into me. So I had to back away" she laughs.

I cover my face in shame. "Shit I am sorry"

She turns on her back to look at me. "No it's fine. Was it atleast good?" She laughs.

"Honestly I can't remember my dream"

"Yeah whatever. You liked it" she laughs cuddling into my chest. I wrap my arms around her and kiss the top of her head. "Are you ready to go into the world?"

"With you by my side I am ready for anything" I smile.

She picks up her head and backs away from me. "Woah I am ready too but you don't have to ask me to marry you....my gosh woman" she gasps getting out of bed.

I laugh throwing a pillow as she walks towards the bathroom. "Fucking clown"

She only laughs closing the door. Maybe that was a bit too much. It is true though. Shit.... I know she is only joking but I hope I didn't make her uncomfortable.

I get up and open the curtains to a beautiful day. I can see the season is changing. The nights are colder which means fall is finally here and soon it will be winter. But today is perfect for my outfit. I start doing my hair by the mirror while I wait for Alex to exit the bathroom. After a few minutes we switch places and I go in and brush my teeth and wash my face. Coming back out Alex is already wearing her new clothes that I helped picked out.

"Oohh yes please" I smirk sending a wink her way.

"You like?" She strikes a few poses and like a magnet I wrap my hands around her waist. She is wearing a ripped blue jean, white tucked in shirt and black boots which is still laying on the ground. She hasn't done her hair or makeup but she already looks sexy.

"I very much like." I say pressing her against me for a sweet kiss. We pull away both smiling and she goes into the bathroom to do her hair and makeup I assume while I finish getting ready out here.

A few minutes later I am dressed in a beige skinny jean, with one of Alex's white sweaters and white heels. The top part of my hair is braided back against my head and ends in a tight bun. Makeup is perfect, jewelry is on and just as a do last minute touches Alex comes out the bathroom. Hair flowing in her natural curls. Simple makeup which is just how I like her. She freezes in the doorway and her mouth drops. I can tell she isn't breathing as she looks at me. Her eyes wondering up and down my body.

"Alex!" I snap my fingers and we make eye contact.

"Wow! You look absolutely beautiful" she says almost catching her breath.

I smile feeling myself blush a bit. I don't think anyone has ever looked at me like this. I can tell it's not a look of lust but a look of pure admiration. "Thank you, I like the we can share clothes" I laugh.

She laughs stepping closer to me. "I don't remember ever wearing your clothes. So where is the sharing?"

I only laugh and kiss her softly on the lips. She is obviously right and I just want to distract her. "Let's go. I need food"

We walk out with everything we need and step into the elevator.

"If anyone kills me today. Please hold my ashes in a vase and cry every now and then about me on a rainy day. And you can have my car"

I laugh holding onto her arm. "Alex stop. Nobody is going to kill you but I would love that car though"

"Yeah I know." She smiles.

The elevator stops at the bottom and the doors open. "You ready babe?"

She smiles and I take her hand. "Let's do this"

We walk out the elevator down the hallway to the basement where her car is parked. A few people have looked at us but it was fairly normal.

We got in her car and start to drive. "Where are we going?" She asks.

"Celine's"

"Yessss" she cheers and makes a turn down a street.

The streets are busy and the traffic is horrible but Alex keeps my mind busy, placing both our elbows on the console box so she can place soft kisses on my hand and fingers. This is only the second time she has done this but I am already loving her affection.

The radio is low but she turns it up to hear the news. After all the headlines and weather report the radio presenter gets into gossip.

"So let's talk about our sweet Naya Rivera"

Both me and Alex's eyes go wide. I immediately turn it up.

"She has finally found someone but nobody knows who she is. I am mean come on just give us something. Naya if you are hearing this, please stop hiding her. I don't know her but I ship it. Let me know how you guys feels about her new girl. We don't know if it's just a summer fling or are they together. So my lines are open. Shoot me a message and maybe we can get the answers we all need"

I cover my mouth and Alex is just staring at the radio. "What the fuck just happened?" She laughs.

"You are the talk of the town" I laugh.

"Oh great." She sigh in laughter.

We didn't get to hear the calls coming in as we parked in front of the café. "Ok just act normal please. Don't worry about anyone and please don't be afraid to show affection"

"Again, when I die today. Please promise you will cry over me" she laughs.

"Every day" I smile back.

Sunglasses on, we get out the car. I immediately grab Alex's hand and she holds it tight as we walk to the door. This time more people are looking at us and there are a few pictures taken.

"Ohh I don't like the eyes on you though. Especially the guys. Fucking hell she's gay asshole" I hear Alex whisper to herself and I only laugh pulling her closer to me.

"People always stare Alex" I say opening the door and we walk in.

"I can work with stare but the eye fuc-" she starts but stops when we come face to face with the hostess.

"Table for two?" She asks and I can't help but laugh because I know what she was about to say.

"Four please. Inside" I smile politely and she takes us through the café. I walk in front and Alex behind me. I can feel her eyes on me and I just smile. A few heads have turned and whispers could be heard from a mile away.

We take a seat in a booth at the back. Alex sitting next to me because Cory and Lea will sit on the other side. She immediately ordered her Vanilla coffee and I ordered my drink.

"What were you saying about eye fucking?" I laugh and her embarrassment.

"Shut up" she smiles taking my hand in her lap.

"So there were pictures taken. So just be prepared for cameras when we leave ok"

"I am ready to strike a pose" she says fixing her hair and I smile at her confidence.

"You can do anything you want. I just want to prepare you"

She leans closer to me and whispers. "With you by my side I am ready for anything"

I roll my eyes and she laughs. "No but seriously. I am ok. And to be honest. Not that I am using you for any of this. It is good publicity for me too"

"It is" I smile and she kisses me. "Alex you will get back to where you were"

"Well now the media will definitely throw everything in my face again. Once they know who I am. But it's good because I am not there anymore."

"No you are not. From now on we're only going up" I smile and she returns the smile with a kiss on my hand.

Suddenly Cory and Lea appear next to our booth. "Heeyy" I cheer and Alex almost fell out the booth at my sudden reaction which made all of us laugh.

"Thanks for that" she laughs getting out and I follow behind her.

"Alex!" Lea immediately hugs her around the neck. "It's so nice to meet you"

"You too" Alex smiles.

We change people and Cory also gives her a big hug. "Naya has been talking non-stop about you" he laughs and I just roll my eyes.

We sit back down at the table.

"So Alex, where are you staying?" Cory asks.

She puts her hand on my thigh and looks at me. "What is the hotel's name?"

I smile stroking up her arm. "Uhmm oh shit I don't know. It's there on 75th. A new one. Really fancy"

"Yeah. It's nice. Naya only like the bathtub" she smiles at me.

"Oh my gosh yess" I gasp. "You guys should see the bathtub. I could lay in there for hours."

They both just laugh and shake their heads. "Ok but tell is the story how you got together. We know the story before summer break but after we haven't talked so much." Lea says excited to hear the story.

Alex looks at me and just laughs with a hint of embarrassment. She actually looks really relaxed which is good. "Where should we start?"

"The beginning of course" Cory comments.

I laugh and grab her hand holding it on my lap. "Uhmm ok she finally agreed to have coffee with me after almost two fucking months"

She gives me a look and I smile with a quick wink. She gives me a small smile knowing why I said it. I obviously lie because they don't need to know her reasons. It has nothing to do with them. So if they think of her being stubborn rather than insecure is fine by me.

"So then coffee turned into a whole day event. She took me into the woods, standing at a cliff, stood beside the road in the middle of nowhere to watch the stars and then" I look over smiling at Alex and I can see she is also thinking about that day. "She kidnapped me"

Both of them gasp and Alex just rolls her eyes. "I did kidnap her yes but the next day she was happy about it" she objects.

"Well if someone took me to the woods that makes kind of sense" Cory laughs.

"We joked about it but then it actually happened and yes I was happy. The next morning I woke up, I didn't think it was her though. My head told me that it was someone who took the both of us"

"So you didn't think it was her?" Lea asks confused.

"No not for one second" I smile over at her.
