CHOOSE YOUR KENOBI! A Star Wars series is underway, featuring the character Obi Wan Kenobi. Looks like all your Kenobi actors want in on the action! Clone Wars voice actor James Arnold Taylor has thrown his hat in the ring. Taylor has urged fans on social media to support his casting in the live action series. Animated Kenobi will be going head to head against other fan favorite live action Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor.

Hello Fanners, This is Sakshi scribbly_writer with your Wizarding World News! What's in a name? It looks like Harry Potter twitter is never idle! Tweets have been going viral about cultural stereotypes in J. K. Rowling's hit series. 

"J.K. Rowling, thinking of a name of white character: Albus Dumbeldore, Hermione Granger, Minerva McGonagall. 

J.K. Rowling, thinking of nonwhite character: Cho Chang," one tweet reads. 

We might love Harry Potter, but it look's like Rowling is as controversial as Rita Skeeter!

In less controversial news: Daniel Radcliffe is BACK!! The boy-who-lived himself started off the Harry Potter storytimes  on Rowling's new book hub wizardingworld.com Use these quarantine days to catch up on your Harry Potter! Radcliffe will be joined by other Harry Potter stars from the screen to the stage.

Speaking of stage and screen, fan favorite Broadway show Hamilton is joining Disney+! The man who didn't throw away his shot is coming to Disney+ on July 3rd. That's right; you know him, you love him, you scream his name and tell him no for four minutes and three seconds, it's Hamilton! Everyone's ecstatic to watch the musical because it's quiet uptown and we don't know what comes next in 2020.

Looks like Hamilton isn't the only show going off stage! The COVID epidemic has forced many other productions to closed their doors indefinitely. Disney's "Frozen" production has closed on Broadway, becoming the first musical to shutter amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, Sets and costumes from the show will be repurposed for international stagings of the musical in London, Sydney, Tokyo and Hamburg, Germany, over the next year.

In more Disney news: PERCY JACKSON IS BACK! First rule of being part of the Percy Jackson fandom: never mention the movies. However, we get another chance at being able to watch the action unfold in front of our eyes: Disney+ is making Percy Jackson a TV show! Even better news: Rick Riordan himself is supervising the production to make sure everything's accurate, so now we can rest assured that the TV show won't be the dumpster fire that the movies were! Even Percy Jackson himself, Logan Lerman is excited for the series to get the attention it deserves!

It's SEA news all around for Disney this week! We're going under the sea with the live action remake of ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE! No cast has been signed on yet, but fan's are hopeful the adventure will be lead by Spider-Man actor Tom Holland

Tom Holland! Did you know? You could have almost see- I mean heard Tom Holland in Sony's Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse? That's right! Producer Christopher Miller revealed in Wednesday's quarantine watch party that he and his co-writer Phil Lord originally thought of an ending that would've featured all three of the actors, but sadly, Sony turned the idea down. Unfortunately Sony felt it was 'tOo SoOn.' The good news? A sequel to Into the Spider-Verse will be released on October 7th, 2022.

It appears Spider-Man's mentor is switching teams after retirement! Ironman actor Robert Downey Jr. is working with Netflix to produce Sweet Tooth! Sweet Tooth was a limited series comic published by Marvel rival DC! This after DC lead actor Christian Bale has been confirmed to be part of Marvel's Thor 4: Love and Thunder.

Looks like DC is moving to the CW! Canceled tv shows which previously aired on DC's streaming service have been rescued by the CW. The Swamp Thing will join the DC lineup this fall. 

Superman is also coming to CW. The character introduced on Supergirl will be getting his own show- also featuring Lois Lane- which will air starting January.

CW's entire fall line up is moving to January, thanks to the unprecedented effects of the COVID-19 epidemic.

We're reuniting online - and so is one of your favorite shows! The cast of Pretty Little Liars are holding an online fundraiser this past Friday, May 15. Fans purchased tickets for the chance to ask the cast and crew some behind the screen secrets! Ticket sales were collected in an effort to support Feeding America!

PLL isn't the only one coming together! Another favorite ABC Network show is also reuniting for a good cause. 'Fans of Once Upon a Time need to get ready for a special reunion. Members of the cast are getting together for a special virtual reunion for charity. The cast is raising money for Children's Hospital of Orange County.' -TV Series Finale.

While many shows are 'coming back', one fan favorite show is waving goodbye! For all you 13 Reason's Why fans, you may be sad to hear that it's on it's last season. Yup, that's right. The final season's premiere date has been scheduled for June 5. Alisha Boe, who plays Jessica Davis, tells us that "[she] will never forget this experience for the rest of my life, so thank you." Make sure to catch this final season where "before they say goodbye, they'll have to keep a dangerous secret buried and face heartbreaking choices that could impact their futures forever."
