Hoseok has grown into a teenage boy and made some friends along the way while living inside the underground cave.

For some reason, the vampires that the original first lady vampire had created abandoned their task to protect the human children and have all long forgotten about them. But the actual reason is because the Vamp-lady power over them has all but vanish and so they all seize to no longer exist; those vampire created by her specifically all but eventually died leaving the humans all to themselves to fend and defend on their own.

This means that those kids now have to go outside of the underground cave for supplies of ingredients for food that couldn't possibly be grown inside the always dark cave and other things like weapons for protection and books to keep their knowledge of the world up to date.

The human children; some fully grown into adults were at least grateful that those vampires did not give out their location; which kind of adds to the mystery of their sudden disappearance and neglect in completing the orders of the original vampire lady; their creator had commanded them to do.

Hoseok wasn't the youngest however there was something about him that draws everyone's attention to want to protect him and keep him safe. He gets treated like the youngest compare to the real ones.

He grew up to be the most cheerful happy-go-lucky personality who is very friendly to everyone and anyone. He brings smile and laughter and happiness to everyone living inside the underground cave just by looking at him do nothing.

Suddenly, he became a treasured gem more than the females whom they are protecting and he became their symbol of hope due to the pure innocence in him for one day ending this cruel war between the few humans left and the vampires who took away everything known to the humans.

Hoseok was soon nicknamed JHOPE.

Hoseok has many other nicknames from various people living in the underground cave and he loved each and every one of them.

There was a boy Hoseok heard many rumors about that he never smiles and he is very scary to approach.

Everyone that met Hoseok has always loved him unconditionally and was always kind and nice to him so it's rare for him to find someone, this boy in particular, who is indifferent towards others and looks pissed off all the time as if he was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode if someone just as measly brushes him.

The boy's name is Min Yoongi.

Whenever you come across a crowd that parted themselves to create a path in-between them then it is because Min Yoongi was walking by and they are all trying not to graze him in anyway.

Only two boys were able to handle the personality of Min Yoongi and they are Kim Namjoon and his love partner Kim Seokjin who belongs to the group of doctors that takes care of the sick inside the underground cave.

Hoseok being Hoseok the curious type became so obsess with Min Yoongi and secretly follows him around.

Hoseok is drawn to Min Yoongi so much so that he becomes shy and fidgety just hearing his name alone.

Of course Min Yoongi was always aware of the annoying little follower who always hides away from his line of sight thinking Yoongi has no idea he was there trailing his every move like a baby chick following behind its mother.

Yoongi grew so accustomed to his persistent little stalker that he now can't go about fulfilling his duties or responsibilities inside the cave if the presence of his annoying little stalker isn't there with him anymore.

He would even slow down intentionally sometimes just to allow his curious follower who is struggling to catch up to keep up with him. He grew fond of his little spy and couldn't help it.

However, what irritates Yoongi the most is how clumsy his little stalker is.

Several times he felt his heart jump out of his chest whenever his dedicated stalker stumbles and almost smack the rocky ground with his face.

It takes everything for Yoongi to not rush in and block his fall; he had to hold his breath and squeeze his fist so tight his fingers will almost fall off.

''Urge would you at least be careful! Are you fuckin trying to kill me?'' he would yell out in hopes that the boy will hear him but of couse clueless Hoseok only thinks Min Yoongi is just thinking out loud and not towards him.

It was due to Hoseok eagerly stalking Min Yoongi almost every day and as usual being clumsy that pushed Yoongi to come to his rescue for real this time; hugging Hoseok so tightly like Hoseok represent Yoongi's heart that almost got squashed by a big rock.

Yet, all the boy did afterwards is to give Yoongi the biggest brightest smile hugging Yoongi back actually more like clinging to him like a koala.

Hoseok felt so happy Yoongi finally spoke to him and even saved him. His heart couldn't stop hoping around in his chest with excitement to be this up close to the man who completely demands Hoseok's undivided attention.

Due to that, he did not see the warning sign which clearly warns that those passing by the area should be careful of their steps and the rock boulder that was unstable and lodged up in its corner with only a stick to keep it in place from rolling over someone flattening them like pancake, which Hoseok accidentally foolishly ignored and even pull out the stick because it happen to be blocking his path and direct eyesight of Min Yoongi.

This took place when Yoongi was just 14 and Hoseok was 10 years old.

Ever since that day the two surprisingly became so close that they are hardly separate from each other, shocking everyone living inside the underground cave.
