Once she counted up to 10, she slowly opened her eyes nervously only to find she was no longer standing in the rubble of their broken house, not at all. It appeared that they had freakishly changed location while she was counting to 10 with her eyes tightly closed.

It had come into view that they were now inside a deep underground cave with only miniature kerosene lanterns lighting up the long shadow pathway that lead deeper into the cave; looking like a tunnel.

The little girl felt her legs walk a little further inside the cave before she stopped at once realizing she had been too pre-occupied with the strange transportation into her new surroundings to check back on her baby brother and the female Vampire who had brought them there in the first place, using some kind of magic she is unsure of.

Little Hyomin quickly turned back around to witness the Vampire lady coughing up blood while kneeling before the basket which carried her baby brother.

In her bad condition, the Vamp-lady still continued to smile affectionately through the heaving and tearing cough; her eyes also shedding tears of blood, changing its pupil from the blue glow to ruby red. Never for a second in the middle of her pain did the Vamp-lady lift her gaze away from the baby boy and still managed to talk through her raining cough to the little girl, who was now paralyzed at her spot 5 feet in front of them.

''(Cough, cough followed by heavy breathing and panting).... I ... could not manage to arrive there ...(coughs, cough) ... in time to safe your baby brother who died... (More coughing her lungs out)''

Little Hyomin looked to be confused about what the Vamp-lady was trying to tell her; the coughing making it even more difficult. She wondered if it was her brother the Vamp-lady was referring to that she couldn't save him in time. But then she could clearly see her baby brother well, alive and breathing in the basket currently captivated with the Vamp-lady's long flowing hair giggling cutely.

So then, what did the lady mean, and who was she referring to exactly?

''Luckily I have the power to change the fate of this innocent angel .... (Another intense coughing and heavy breathing and panting) ... I have lived for way too long and I would like to give the baby boy a chance to live... (More coughing again) ... Little girl ... (Cough-cough) ...You mustn't tell anyone, not even ....(cough)....(she points at the baby in the basket) Him what I just said and what I am about to tell you.''

''I will wipe your memories after saying this however; it does not mean you will never be able to recover these memories I've wiped away. ....If one day you do eventually get these memories back, please also promise me to remember to keep it hidden that you had ever met me hm?''

Little Hyomin quickly nodded her head making a pinkie promise sign locking her fingers with the Vamp-lady who suddenly no longer felt threatening but warm to her; they both smiled.

The Vamp-lady coughed again painfully before composing herself one last time and then continuing what she was saying this time with hardly any interruption from her coughs.

''Listen to me closely little one (Referring to Hyomin) ...I am one of the originals; the first ever of my kind. As an immortal being I have lived the longest life known to man. It has been so very long and so very lonely. But because I was lonely, I decided to give birth to many of my kind, in order for them to keep me company especially after watching how the humans lived; I envied them. With my knowledge and power, I was able to reproduce without the need of a partner as it was a special power that I was born with.'' She chuckled at the odd and curious look on little girls face as she listened to her tell her story.

''Although I said I am the first original vampire I believe I also had parents and siblings. I mean I have to have come from somewhere just like how your cute baby brother was brought to the world with the help of your ma and pa. I am basically assuming that I must have come from someone in a form of a parent. As for the siblings part, at first it was just a mere feeling or maybe a wish of mine until I had my recent birthday and my powers revealed my siblings to me. So now I am very sure of their existence; but I still haven't yet met them in person. But when it comes to how we were born, (Cough, cough) I believe that even my siblings are not aware of how we came about in this world.''

She continued...

'' As the eldest of the three younger sisters and two baby brothers I woke up first and left to explore. I was so excited when I awoke that I literally transported so fast from there like I was being chased. Hahahahah.... Ahem! But as soon as I returned, all my other siblings had also left, everyone going their separate ways. Like I said, due to the boredom of living for a long time I had given birth to just a few vampires like myself but so did my other siblings it seems. Sadly, things went out of control on their side. I don't know exactly what went wrong with my siblings creations but (Cough, cough) it seemed that those vampires created from them (Her siblings) had some faults with how they were born and so they were the Vampires-turned-Monsters that started this whole rampage, causing this utter devastation to the unsuspecting humans. And for that I sincerely apologize on their behalf as one of the original Vampires, I am also to be blamed for your parents death which was caused by the screw-ups of my siblings. I don't even know which of my siblings screwed up this bad ...(sigh).... However, the vampires created by me are ok because of my power. They are currently in the midst of helping me to save as many human children as possible, gathering them altogether by bringing them here so that they can survive while safely hidden from the danger outside. .....Using my powers they are able to get them out of the turmoil going on right now.''

'' You see, my powers are pretty close to that of Mother Nature and I can sense where the children are all located in order to give out orders to my creations to go save them. (Cough cough) ''

The Vamp-lady then paused to catch her breath before continuing.

''Something about your baby brother drove me to make a move myself; I usually stay at one place in order to fairly distribute my powers and orders to my creations. But after being in hiding and in one sleeping position for soo long it took me some time to get used to moving my limps and also to adjust to the outside light which both delayed me to get to your brother in time in order to protect him from my brethren's. I barely made it when he was about to take his very last breath. It was at the time my eyes met his that I understood why only he called out to me the loudest. (She coughs and pants heavily again spitting blood) Basically what I am saying is that I have placed my soul, myself and my life inside of him to keep him alive and well, therefore, the two of us shall become one.''

The little girl's eyes blew up wide like a sauce pan in complete shock. Finding out that her baby brother literally almost died and that she was almost left all alone in this world frightened her to the core of her bones.

Once she thought back, she begun to realize that she had seen her baby brother's cot totally smashed into pieces beyond recognizable in the ruins that was left of their house.

From the bedroom upstairs where it should have been from when Hyomin last saw her baby brother sleeping before stepping out of their house towards the children's playground 30 minutes before all hell break loose and she ran back to find her house looking like a landmine blew through it.

At the time of chaos Hyomin had witnessed the killing of some of her friends at the park after returning from the toilet. She had cried and hid her presence behind trees and burning cars. Jumping over many dead bodies trying her hardest to not get caught by the human blood suckers that were feasting on the dead and alive human victims spread like wild flies everywhere she went until luckily managing to arrive safely at her house.

Now that she thought back, Hyomin remembered seeing a hole from the upstairs baby bedroom which seemed to have descended down into their living room along with half of its roof so that there was a massive circle view of the sky from their living room. Then suddenly everything made sense to her. She realized that the Vamp-lady was speaking the truth and that her baby brother shouldn't have been able to survive from the caving in of the ceiling directly onto the baby room and the drop of the second floor down to the ground floor of the house. He should've died from that type of destruction.

She suddenly felt grateful towards the Vamp-lady and thought that she doesn't care if her baby brother was to turn into a vampire. Hyomin assumed that her baby brother would have to turn into a vampire since he was sharing the Vamp-lady's soul; as long as he lived and she wouldn't have to be alone all by herself. Hyomin was more than willing to let her baby brother grow up depending on her blood. She would allow him to sip on her blood from time to time, bit by bit if necessary for as much as he wanted as long as he would continue to live along with her.

The lady couldn't help chuckling and then laughing out loud breaking into another intense cough right afterwards when she read the little girls mind.

''Hahaha (cough, cough)...ha-mm... (She gulps and takes a deep breathe) ...Don't worry about that, your brother is still 100 percent human and not a vampire. His appearance is still the same as you can see for yourself, and he will grow up like all average human boys. Hehehe''

She laughs and she really had an ethereal beauty to her that charmed Hyomin to the point that she seemed to relax and observe her very closely, mesmerized by her beauty. Hyomin sheepishly laughed, her cheeks turning pale pink feeling a little embarrassed; she no longer felt afraid but was captivated by her friendly beautiful aura and appearance, just like her brother.

The Vamp-lady pulled Hyomin closer to ruffle and pinch her cute puffy cheeks. Hyomin pouted cutely trying to squat next to the Vamp-lady and her baby brother.

'' You know I have come to realize this last minute (gulp) that... I was born to be the Mother; like in the Book of man the first born of Mankind, I will be representing EVE to my kindred something like a queen to the Vampires. But like how EVE needs ADAM, I wasn't supposed to do it alone either. So my powers are limited and can only go so far. It is missing the other half; my ADAM half of the powers.''

''I will be dead soon but because I am immortal, I can't die completely, I will still live on inside him and that makes me happy. It is pretty difficult for me to explain my powers and you're too young to even begin to understand how it works. This is also my first time using this particular power because I'd never felt the need for it during those years of existing. After meeting your baby brother I know why I have this power which I never really needed. Now I don't have much time anymore. As you can see the coughs are dissipating and soon I will vanish completely into thin air. I gave your brother an important necklace that mustn't ever be taken off and also must be kept hidden under his clothes at all times. I also included a ring which I already put on him just in case something happens to the necklace. Do not take either of them of him EVER! Do you understand?''

''Yes I understand Unnie'' said little Hyomin paying undivided attention to every word the Vamp-lady was saying.

''Good girl.... Now once I vanish completely, quickly make your way straight down deeper inside the cave along with your baby brother where you will be meeting up with other human children like yourself. I have also informed my creations to continue to protect all of you in secret and keep you all hidden until my return therefore do not tell them that I am gone either ok?... (The little girl nodded her head strongly) Excellent! ''

The Vamp-lady failing to tell Hyomin the fact that her own creations would fail to survive long, especially without the constant distribution of her powers to their core. The only reason her creations did not go insane like her siblings' creations was simply because she was using a very large amount of her magic to control them from turning into the monsters attacking the humans. The creations created from her and her other siblings were imperfect because like the Vamp-lady said before – her EVE powers weren't complete without her ADAM half – Meaning that the one (probably one of her siblings) who was also able to make their own creation must be in possession of the ADAM half of the powers.

The two of them needed to elope – come together – for the full completion of their powers before making the perfect creation of more Vampires like them. However, the two – EVE and ADAM – had never met or found each other and yet they went ahead and jumped into making a creation of their own separately with incomplete powers.

Due to their incompetent powers both siblings' creations were born unstable, going out of control, turning into viscous monsters out for blood with a never-ending appetite. They were now causing the big unrest in the human world; populating the earth and plunging the humans slowly into extinction. They were imperfect creations; an abomination; a taboo that shouldn't have been born until after the union of ADAM and EVE.

The Vamp-lady realized her mistake so she had taken a drastic step to ensure that her own creations would not turn pure evil by constantly sharing a large dose of her power into her creations to keep them stable and from going insane. And so once she disappeared the power would only last for some few years but would soon wear off and her creations would also die.

She made sure that they would die immediately when the power wears off to keep the position of the human children hidden from the knowledge of her siblings' brethren's. She didn't want to frighten the little girl too much than she already had.

The Vamp-lady went back to staring at cute baby Hoseok, kissing him on the forehead making him giggle even more in his cute little laughter before saying.

''Goodbye my Hobi'' and then she vaporized and vanished into thin air.

The next minute not long after, Hyomin found herself collapsed on the floor for a brief seconds.

She then woke up later to the sound of her baby brother crying and had no idea what was going on.

''WhaaaaaWhaaaaWhaaa ....nm-nm...'' she put the pacifier next to him into his mouth and cooed to calm him down.

Something told her to quickly pick up her baby brother's basket and follow the lanterns deeper into the cave where she was greeted by other children with warmth.
