Suddenly a huge commotion brakes out announcing that the scout soldiers are back, however, there's been a bad news.

''Oh no Yoongi, Namjoon, Taehyung are among those who went out scouting last night. Please, God, tell me everyone is ok'' begged Hoseok pushing his way through the crowds in search of them with a hand lamp to light his path but only seeing heavily wounded soldiers instead.

''Y-YOONGI! NAMJOON! TAEHYUNG! WHERE ARE YOU?'' he cried out in full panic mode.

He manages to pull up one of the soldiers hugging his injured foot closer to him in order to get some answers out of him by force since no one was telling him anything.

''Jaehyun! Tell me now what exactly happened and where are Yoongi, Namjoon, and Taehyung?''

Hoseok demanded nearly on the verge of tearing up.

His hand tightly gripping on the young man's shirt clearly shaking with worry and fear but he bit the inside of his mouth to try to seem composed and only look angry not wanting to be seen weak.

''Ho-Hoseok ah, I – I –I am sorry but... t-the vampires suddenly showed up and started capturing us while making sure to immobilize us from putting up a fight and – and- the three sacrificed themselves to get some of the few of us to escape. Brother I.... i-i-I am truly sorry'' said the poor young wounded man who was shaken up with guilt for running back home and not staying behind like some of them did; disappointed in himself.

Living in the cave everyone knows everyone and everyone became everyone's family. Therefore it was no surprise that the soldier addressed Hoseok as a brother.

Hoseok was paralyzed, lost and badly pale he could feel bile in the back of his throat wanting to come out.

His knees buckled under him and he eventually collapsed to the floor.

Hoseok heard about vampires being the bad guys but that was just about all he knew of them.

Plus, he was told to run the other way or hide when he ever heard of a ''vampire'' presence in the surrounding area.

No one gave him any other information about vampires so he really didn't know how to react, but he was strongly warned to be very afraid of even hearing the word 'vampire'.

The rocky roof shook along with the very earth beneath Hoseok's feet, vibrating up through his legs like billions of snakes crawling all the way through his spine, his ears ringing a shrill jarring tune rendering his hearing useless for a while.

The news that the vampires were declaring a war and planning to capture every single one of the humans left on the planet rung out loud and clear throughout the entire cave causing panic and disorder.

Everyone was lost and confused; some crying like they had given up when remembering the horror from their childhood afraid to go through it all over again.

Others seemed ready and prepared as if they had expected this outcome and were willing to put up a fight to their last dying breath.

But all Hoseok wanted was to have his family, friends and his boyfriend holding him close in a tight embrace engulfing him with his warmth while whispering in his ears that everything will be ok as long as they all stuck together.

Others including his big sister Hyomin who had become like a mother to most of the young'uns the same age as Hoseok or below without any female figure of their own living inside the cave.

Hoseok just wanted everything to go back to the happy moments instead of the despairing and chaotic atmosphere that the announcement had caused in the underground cave, at a time where they should just stick together and make the decision as a union.

However, he also worried about his beloved Yoongi.

As scared and frightened that he was Hoseok decided he needs to go after his boyfriend.

He was fully aware that he was never going to be given the permission to go outside.

For some reason, nobody thought he was ready even though he studied and trained hard and did everything possible to prove his worth.

But still, none of it was enough. They always tell him ''Hoseok you are not ready''.

Maybe they are right. Maybe he really was not ready especially now that he was determined to go no matter what and yet he couldn't help trembling in utter fear.

However, Yoongi meant more to him than anything so he was going to suck it up and sneak along with the rescue team somehow to bring back his one true love.

Elsewhere in the chaos, Hyomin hears a voice in her head. A very familiar female voice warning her,

''Remember to keep an eye on your Brother. He must never be allowed out of this cave.'' the female voice said

''But why? What would happen if he did?'' asks Little Hyomin in her trance-like state

''If he did then the seal keeping you all hidden will be broken. So little girl will you promise me to not allow your little brother to step foot outside this cave?'' said the lady with a soft smile but a serious gaze

''Yes I promise'' said little Hyomin.
