"I-I still don't u-understand. What do you want with m-me?" Katherine stutters.

Klaus smirked and moved closer to her. "You'll be my queen. Your simply perfect, love. It's just a shame your not part werewolf." He was so close now that Katherine could feel his breath on her face and she did not like it one bit.

She took a step back determined to get away from the monster in front of her but she collided with a wall. Klaus smirked even more at this and took another step closer to her. It didn't look like Katherine was going anywhere any time soon so she descided to find out more about her situation. "Queen?"

"Yes, love. Queen. I'm building a nation and I need someone to rule it with me. Every good King needs a Queen."

"W-why me? You could have anyone." Klaus being his mouth to her ear. He was so close and Katherine desperately wanted to push him away but she needed answers.

"Your so strong love and kind but wicked and cold hearted all the same. And I need a strong Queen. Not to mention your incredibly beautiful, love." He's definitely crazy, Katherine thought to herself. And who was to say that Katherine even wanted to be his queen and 'rule' with him. As if hearing her train of thought Klaus said the six words Katherine was dreading to hear. "You don't have a choice, love."

Sheila had taken some of Stefan's blood and was now making a pattern with it on Elena's olive skinned forehead. The hospital room was covered with candles in all different shapes and sizes all a light.

"Gaian beskddah skel." She chanted.

"Gaian beskddah skel."

"Gaian beskddah skel."

"Gaian beskddah skel."

She chanted those three unknown words over and over again in a whisper and gradually her voice grew louder till she was shouting. Everyone else was waiting outside but Sheila had let Stefan stay. I wouldn't of left even if she would have asked, Stefan thought knowing to be the truth.

Sheila stopped and a strange wind blew all the candles out. Elena's eyes fluttered and for a moment Stefan thought she was waking up. "Any minute now." Sheila whispered.

Elena shot straight up breathing heavily. "S-st, S-s-t-tef-an."

"I'm here!" Stefan cried rushing over to Elena. He sat on her bed and picked her up, putting her in his lap. They were both crying and Stefan held on to the love of his life as tight as he could. Elena suddenly pushed her way out of Stefan's arms. "I love you." she said confidently.

"No!"

Elena looked like she was about to break. "I wanted to be the one to say it first!" whinned Stefan. Elena bursted into laughter and fell back into Stefan's laughter. Soon Stefan was smiling. He enjoyed watching her laugh. And Stefan realised that as long as Elena was happy, so was he. "I love you Elena Maria Gilbert. For always and forever."

Katherine and Klaus walk out of the Salvatore's Boarding house – where Katherine soon found out the cell was in Stefan's basement. Or rather Klaus walked out with a struggling Katherine slung over his shoulder.

"Put me down you... you ape!" Katherine says, a sudden boost of confidence appearing out of no where. Klaus simply laughs in response and throws her into a black car – presumably his. Katherine tries to open the door only to realise that the doors were child locked.

She couldn't help the tears that fell next as she thought about everything. Her mum had been there, did that mean she was part of it all. And she was also in the Salvatore Boarding house which was where Stefan lived. Which meant he was a part of it to. Eventhough Katherine had only knew Stefan for a short amount of time, she still felt oddly attached to him. This whole thing felt like some big betrayal. While Katherine was lost with her thoughts, Klaus had started the engine and was diving away to God knows where. Great. I'm officially screwed.

It had been half a hour since Elena had woken up. Everyone except from Sheriff Forbes were at the Gilbert's house. She has gone to check up on 'something' but when Elena asked what everyone looked at eachother alarmed and told her not to worry. Stefan's dad, Shiella and Elena's mum had just finished explaining everything about the supernatural. Elena found herself believing everything that was said.

The Salvatore family were vampire hunters, the Bennets were witches and the Gilbert's were just ordinary. Unless you count the fact that her sister was a vampire.

"Wow, Grams. I can't believe that the things you've been telling me for years are actually real." Bonnie said wide eyes.

"I told you I wasn't just a batty old lady." Bonnie's grandma smiled. When Elena's mum was younger she had had a fallen out with her parents so Elena had never knew her grandparents, so Shiella was the closest thing she had to a grandparent.

"Where's Katherine now?" Elena asks noticing the absence of her twin sister. Her mum exchanges a look with Stefan's dad as if mentally desciding who's going to explain.

Mr Salvatore clears his throat. "Katherine is a vampire as you know and if she wasn't your mothers daughter then she wouldn't be alive. However she is still a monster and needs to be locked away."

A monster? Locked away? Katherine was far from a monster. She had been nothing but kind to Elena from the moment she met her, even if Elena had been bitter at first – after miss reading things with Katherine and Stefan – Katherine had never once shown her any hostility.

"You can't keep her locked up! She's a human bei–" Elena said jumping out of her seat.

"No child. She is no long a human, she is a vampire." Grams says rather calmly.

"She's my s-sister." Elena's voice cracked at the word sister and tears filled her eyes. Stefan stood up and wrapped his arms around her.

"She's right. Katherine's a friend." Stefan says.

"Friend?! I have not raised you to be so foolish." spat Stefan's dad.

"You're right, you haven't. I hated Damon for leaving because he was the only person I had, but he shouldn't have been. I should have had you as well. But the truth is that Damon has been more of a father figure than you have ever been. After mum died you turned into this heartless monster who only looked at me with disappointment in his eyes." Stefan was on the verge of tears and Damon could feel his throat tightening at his little brothers words.

"So no, you haven't raised me to be so foolish. You haven't raised me at all."
Elena was now looking at Stefan with proud eyes with a small smile on her face. Stefan looked down at her and smiled back.

"Stefan and Elena are right. I may not know Katherine but I know she doesn't deserve this." Bonnie pipes up standing up from her seat.

"Yeah, what Bon-Bon's said." Damon buts in.

Bonnie scrunches up her nose at his nickname. "Bon-Bon?"

"Yes. Bon-Bon. Now deal with it." Damon says with a smirk painted on his face.

Bonnie rolls her eyes. "Where is she?" Damon asks with a look why says I-will-get-my-way-no-matter-what.

Jenna looks like she is fighting an urge to smile and is clearly proud at the three. Mr Salvatore was about to object but Shiella beats him to it.

"She's in the cells at the boarding house." she says with a small smile.

Before anyone knew it Damon had his car system in his hand and was walking to the door. "Let's go." And despite the objection of Stefan and Damon's father, that's exactly what they did.

Lizzie's original plan was to go check up on the vampire but descided to check on her daughter first. She didn't spend nearly enough time with Caroline and she knew that's why her daughter was always acting out. She was looking for attention.

She parked her car at the front of the school where the party was and saw a blonde girl with red and blue dyed hair. Caroline.

She was sitting on the floor alone curled up in a ball and it looked like she had been crying. Lizzie imidiatley lols her daughter up and down in look for any injuries. Luckily there were non. When Caroline saw her mother, she hugged her. "Oh baby what's wrong?"

"He left me, mum. He just left me here." sobbed Caroline.

"Who?"

"D-Damon. We'd came together and he had went outside and said he'd come back but he never did. Why am I never good enough? I wasn't good enough for dad, for you, for Stefan and now Damon."

Lizzie felt her heart break at her daughter words. "Oh my baby! You're perfect. You're everything I've ever wanted." They were both sobbing uncontrollably and despite Lizzie wanting to just let her daughter cry she had to tell her about vampires. She had to tell her about everything.

Fun fact 5:
I know how I want the story to end but I have no idea how I'm going to get there. And I don't know whether to laugh about that or cry.

I don't really like this book that much but I'm already planning number two which is going to be so much better. It's actually going to be about all of the main characters in this books children – for example, Stefan and Elena's child.

I might do that or instead just make a link to the characters, not sure yet. Comment which one you'd prefere.
