Manik entered the party hall after changing in suit and he was very excited to have some fun with Milly . But just then a waiter came towards him and brought him a note

He opened to see the note had a few drops of wine on its end and a message written

Manik loved the way she had apologized for throwing wine on him . He was sure after reading the note that she was not too open to share her feeling with someone , he understood that she was good at heart and was guilty for spoiling his suit, but he was impressed by the way she had warned him to not flirt with her. It showed she was fierce and no-nonsense girl . His eyes searched for her in the huge party hall and finally he spot her sitting alone in a corner getting bored and thinking something, He was sure that she felt bad for her behavior and might be thinking about him, so he decided to meet his lady first and then take a small revenge , all his massive plans of insulting MillY had gone down the drain because now hos mind was full of happiness because he was able to get a reaction from Nandini. He could see she was unaffected by Milly but he needed to teach her a lesson because she was the one who had pissed Nandini .

He walked towards Nandini with a glass of red wine and a smirk on his face

On reaching near her he cleared his throat to gain her attention . Nandini was shocked seeing him as she did not expect him to meet her again and that is why she had come to the farther most corner so that he could not find her but oh no he was here

Nandini: Yes

Nandini asked him what he wanted just by using one word

Manik: You know i forgive you for spilling wine over my suit , though it was not so precious before suit but after the wine from your hand fell on it the suit became very precious for me

Nandini: I did not apologize to you and stop flirting

Manik: Sweet heart I got the hidden message in your note, must say you are very smart but why are you so stingy even when there is no tax on speaking freely and smiling , you do not do any of it

Nandini: NOYB

(Non of your business)

Manik: Anything about you is about my business [Manik said under his breadth]

You know since you spoiled my suit by splashing red wine now i have a glass of wine and i do not want to drink it but you know we should not waste it right so how about it serves as a layer on someone's dress

Nandini: No it is better that is get wasted and don't you dare throw it on me

Manik: I would never dare to do so on you but you know now if not you so who because only we two know about your epic wine splash

he pretends to think while shaking the wine in the glass while Nandini rolls her eyes

Manik{smiles as if he got an idea} - Ohh ya ya there was someone else who interrupted our moment so this goes upon her ya see I am so intelligent i didn't let the wine so waste

Nandini: IT WAS NO MOMENT BETWEEN US AND I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO saying this Nandini moved away from him

Manik was smiling looking Nandini go away he kept the note safely after kissing it and called a waiter and handed him the glass of wine and a few notes

The party was going on in full swing with people chatting and building contacts or busy gossiping about clothes and judging attires of others

Milly was standing with some women and was boasting how they were close to Malhotra's and that they had signed a deal with them and they specially came from Mumbai for their party 

Suddenly from behind a waiter with a tray of wine collided with her and splash there goes the red wine all over her face

All the people around turned and were laughing seeing Milly drenched in wine , the ladies were happy that they got a new topic to gossip 

Manik could not stop laughing seeing Milly's expression 

Manik: This is Manik Malhotra's style you embarrass  my people you get back embarrassed 

Milly wanted to lash out on the waiter but she could not because the people around her would get another point to gossip so she controlled herself

Soha came rushing to Milly and gave her this expression

Soha: Oh Mom what have you done , you never told me red wine is good for skin you could have waited for the party to end so that we could have together but red wine on our face Mom

Milly's was furious after listening to Soha's nonsense and she was ashamed as people started laughing more on her because of Soha so she excused herself and decided to kill that waiter later

Even Nandini saw all this and there was a smile on her face, she was amused by the dumb Soha and loved the look on Milly's face

From far Manik was looking and Nandini and he was so happy seeing her smile. He was glad that his plan worked he got happy to see Mrs. Murthy paying for insulting Nandini and finally he could see a smile on Nandini's face he clicked her picture and was blown off by her smile 

He was able to hit two targets with one arrow and he loved it.

He was lost in her  but was disturbed by the sudden ringing of his phone he mentally cursed the caller and the caller was non other than CABIRA

He lifted the call annoyed because he was disturbed while gazing Nandini

Manik: What the hell is it Cabir , why have you called that too now

Cabir: Calm down Manik baba aisa kya kar raha tha ki itna irritate ho raha hai . aisai bol raha hai jaise tu apne crush ko dekh raha tha aur maine teko distyrb kiya hai

Manik: [lost ] Ha aur nahi toh kya kitni sundar hai woh

Manik bites his tongue realizing what he was saying 

Cabir: Oh It is just one day for you in Delhi and you have a crush too wow good going who is she

Manik: Cabir let me come back I will tell everything now just stop and bye

Cabir: I am not letting this go let me tell you OK BYE

Manik messaged his parents that he was leaving and will send the car back as he was tired , he wanted to see Nandini and say her a good bye but could not spot her so left the place with lots of memories

He was really hopeful that they could meet again

On the other hand Nandini had returned to her room and for the first time in so many years she had a smile on her face. She knew it was Manik who had spilled wine on Milly for talking badly with her , she was astonished that he stood for her even after not knowing her. After so many years someone had stood for her she was happy

After 10 long years that day Nandini Murthy slept with a smile on her face and Manik slept with the memories of his dream girl

The fund-raiser was over and Nandini was going to Mumbai the next day and even Manik was going to Mumbai the next day so do you think they will meet or not??
