"Happen?"

Ryou, Joey, and Malik stare at me as I sit down at the head of the table. My fingers are intertwine as I lay my chin on them. My eyes closed as I refreshed my mind of what has happen moments ago.

"I told you. He escaped."

That's when Joey shoot out of his chair and slam both of his hands on the table. He glared at me.

"I mean how? How Yugi?"

I open my eyes and glared back at him.

"Sit."

He got the point and sit down. Grumbling in annoyance, while crossing his arms.

"Again....he fooled us again...."

"Ummmm....excused me?"

All four of us turn towards the speaker.

Yami.

"I have a question."

"What is it? Mr. Sennen."

(Me: Pff...Mr. Sennen...Pfft! Yami: Yeah yeah. Can we please stop laughing at my last name and get the story going. Me: Of course....Mr. Sennon. Yami: *Growl*)

"First off, don't call me 'Mr. Sennen'. Second, we want to know what's going on."

"And why are we held captive here?" Bakura, which he introduced us by Yami, growled. A strap of bandages is wrap around Bakura's head when he saved Ryou from further injures.

"Yes, yes. Not that I'm complaining." Marik said as he made a cheeky grin towards Malik who sweat dropped at him.

"Someone has a crush on you." Joey whispered in Malik's ear as Malik punch him in the stomach.

"Shut up."

I just sigh.

"I'm sorry, Yami. But I can't tell you."

"Why?"

"Because this is our problem. You and your friends weren't supposed to be part of this. For that, all of us apologized. Especially you, Bakura."

"Nah, no problem. My head is stronger then you think."

'More like crazy.' Yami thought.

"It's alright, Yugi. But I still want to know what's going on here. We might even try to help."

"When he says no, he means NO." Ryou said with a stern voice; daring Yami to try and repeat himself again.

I hold out my hand to silent him, and to back off. He got the message and started to relax. But the sternness in his eyes are still fresh.

"As he already said, Yami. We don't want you to be part of this, or ever in the future. It's too dangerous. And for Bakura's question, you three are here because we want to give you a more respected apology."

"And that would be...?"

I smile. "We'll pay anything that you want from this store. But please."

Bakura and Marik grin excitedly.

"Not too much. Three is your limit."

Their grin drop down to a frown.

"No thanks." Yami crossed his arms as he rejected my offer.

"YAMI/PHARAOH!"

Yami turn towards his friends and made a harsh glare. Both Bakura and Mailk silent themselves from further death.

"Unfortunately for you Yami. You may say no, but I don't."

"Yep."

"Totally."

"Very true."

Joey, Malik, and Ryou agreed as the outcome turn four to one. But Yami is both stubborn and persistent.

"I have a proposal to make."

I lift one of my eyebrow up; curious.

"And that would be?"

Yami smirked. He stood up from his chair, and began walking towards my desk. He put both his hands on the surface of my desk in front of me and said,"Instead of wasting your money on the things that 'they' want."

Pointing his thumb behind his back, which clearly means towards Bakura and Marik.

"Hey!"

Yami just ignore him, and continued, "How about you come over to my cousin's house and celebrate his birthday."

"What?"

This caused me to retreat back in surprised.

"You can't be serious?"

"On the contrary, I'm still persistent of knowing who you guys are. But, since you wanted to offer us a respect apology so badly, your apology is to make sure you, and your friends are invited to our cousin's birthday party. "

"There seem to be more then this than just going to your cousin's birthday party. Am I correct?"

"Yes. I'm impressed that you figure it out so quickly."

I just shrugged. "I have my ways."

Yami just grinned. "The point is. I want you to meet my cousin's brother. Who will persuade you to let us join on your team."

"You can't do that!" Ryou stood up and slam both his hands on the table. Glaring at Yami for making a foolish proposal.

I glared at him. Why can't this guy just back down!

Suddenly, an idea came up to me. I smirked, "Fine, if you're that persistent, then we'll go."

"Yugi!" Joey, Malik, and Ryou look at me like I'm crazy. I winked at them without letting the other group notice. They got the message and stayed quiet.

"Where and when is the party going to start?"

"This evening. 8:00pm to 9:00 or 10:00pm. 8014 Blue Eyes Domino City 43210"

'Wait a minute. Isn't that where Seto live?'

"Alright. You guys better go. We have work to do."

"Fine. I'm inspecting you all to be there. Especially you, Yugi." Yami, Bakura, and Marik stood up to leave, but before they did. Yami stopped and said, "Oh, and please make sure to wear something fancy."

When he said that, they left. Leaving me with my suspicion of who they're cousins are.

"Yugi. Isn't Blue Eyes-?"

"Seto's place? I know. We'll just have to wait and see."

With that in mind, I turn towards Joey and asked, "Joey, can you fetch Mai for me. We need to talk to her."

"Okay."

Joey walk towards the door and open it. Before he closed it; he saw Tea stacking boxes on the shelf. When she saw him, she wave. Joey waved back and began searching for Mai.

"Yugi, are you sure we should go? We don't know them."

"Not yet, but I think we'll be able to know more about them at their cousins house."

Ryou just look at me strangely, before Joey open the door and presented Mai to come in.

"She's here!"

"Hello, Mrs. Valentines."

"Hello, Yugi. Oh! And please, call me Mai."

"Alright. Mai, I want you to see this footage of today."

I asked Malik to turn off the lights as Joey switch on the screener in front of us. Ryou put in the tape that was recorded of today's incident, before playing it.

Mai watch in concentration before spotting Black Rat. Mai's eyes widen, which I quickly told Ryou to pause there.

The frozen form of Black Rat within the footage caused Mai to growl.

"Not him again."

"I see you have encounter with him before."

Mai closed her eyes, before she nodded.

"Yes."

I took a chair from behind and face it towards her. Siting down and asked, "Mai, if it's alright. I would really appreciated if you tell me the full details. How and when you have ever crossed with Black Rat in the first place."

Mai stayed silent, before standing up and looking over her drawers. She took out some films before presenting them to me.

"These are the shots that have 'Black Rat', which is very a stupid name by the way,"

Both Joey, and Malik snickered.

"Black Rat has been stealing from this store for a while, until he stopped for the past three months. After those months, I thought he would be gone, poof! Gone, but I guess I was wrong. Now that he's back my mall is on a verge of being bankrupt!"

Mai's getting crazy~

"Mai, calm down-"

"All those pretty clothes that I ever wanted to wear is now going to be snatch away, then the pretty nail polish that I always want to try, then the pretty jewelries, which are very cute by the way, are going to be-!"

I sigh.

"Mai. Can we look look at those films?"

"Certainly."

She gave me the films and the keys for the shopping mall before heading out. Right now, it's 6:00pm in the evening and everyone who works here are heading home.

"By the way, why is everyone heading home so early?"

"Mai have something to attend to so she needed to close the store early."

"Where is she going?"

"No clue. But for now, let's look at all of the films and organized a plan to catch him tomorrow."

"Alright."

"Hmmmmm......"

Ryou asked, "What is it Yugi?"

"I wonder what kind of present that we should buy for his cousin?"
