YOU PEOPLE ARE PROBABLY ASKING WHY I seem bold for someone being reprimanded by their father.
I mean, ask yourself. You're a virgin but seem to know more about a lot of things... Shhh, we all know you're not innocent.
But to be honest, blame it on the fanfictions, really. I'm a fan of a lot of shows; I spend the majority of my time reading that crappy stuff on the internet and then eventually I'd have an unhealthy attachment for a fictional character.
I look like a shy girl but I know what I'm doing, am I right guys? We are experienced yet inexperienced.
"D-Date?—Ah, yes date..! You see..." Peter's dazed soon faded since it turned to a panicked man who was more worried about asking me out.
"It's not really a date, but uhm... Ned can't come to the Hero Convention with me and I was thinking—I mean you could decline, itwouldn'thurtmyfeelings."
"Go on..?" I know where he's coming from but I wanted him to say it himself.
'Say no, (Y/N).'
"I couldn't go on my own and it would be really boring if I'm by myself, but you know it would be more fun if you could come with me—
'No, you're gonna get in trouble with Stark.'
"Yes."
"What?"
'What?'
"I'd love to go out with you, Peter."
'WHAT THE FUCK THAT CAME OUT WRONG.'
I gulped and forced a smile. I started to shake as my entire body tensed up. Why did I agree? Stark won't be happy with this. I was here to spy on him, not have a good time.
Knowing that I already agreed, I couldn't take it back.
"R-Really?!" He gets out of his bed as he gripped his collar to calm himself down.
"H-Hold on, I'll just go drink water." His voice started cracking up as his cheeks flushed red. He goes out of the room muttering to himself that he did a great job.
'Now's my chance.'
I stood up from my spot and headed towards his closet once again to raid it and find some evident things that could help with my father's investigation. To my disappointment, there was nothing but piles of clothes. 'Where the hell does he put his suit?'
I've seen his costumes once when I was following him. Just by the looks of it, it has an amateur style and was clearly homemade. Just some plain hoodie that consists Spider-Man's signature color. He looked like more of someone planning to rob a bank rather than saving the city.
"Where is it?!" I cursed under my breath, switching to another place.
One particular drawer caught my eye in the middle of me jinxing of things I hated.
My hand draws its way to the handle and opens it.
And there I saw the mechanical thing that he probably created on his own for his Spider-Man gadgets. "Bingo." I cheered quietly.
With its big appearance, I don't know how I'd bring it with him without him noticing it.
Though, thanks to my curious side. I examined it further. The engineering was quite impressive, though he was unable to convert it into a smaller version for easier transport. This will be perfect for the suit.
There was this part at the end of a metal that urged me to press it. And so I did.
"Hey, Camille, I was wondering if—"
A web spurts out and shoots itself just where Peter Parker enters. He was able to block it, but his terrified expression never left his body.
"Why do you have that?" He rushes to me and quickly grabs the object back to his grasp, naturally hiding it from his behind, trying to act cool. I already know he was Spider-Man, so it was useless, but I can't blow my cover too.
"Oh! Sorry, I kinda found it lying there, and I got curious."
Peter's blood went down. He looked scared and wasn't fully convinced that I don't have any bad intentions with it.
I sighed heavily and headed straight to the door where the sticky webs landed. The mixed substance he used is quite impressive; Those weren't ordinary, these could carry him as he swings, and I find it very fascinating.
Interrogation time.
"Where did you get that?"
After clearing out his thoughts and gathering false information that he could tell, he answered me. "Uhm, I made it myself for our club."
"That's really cool. Can I have a closer look at it though?" I approached him once more, but only to be rejected once again.
"NO!"
I raised a brow at his sudden rise of voice.
"I mean. No." He said calmly before putting it back to where it belonged.
He froze on his movement as he tediously stared into open space, too shocked and frightened to go on with his actions. I tried to call out for his attention, but he seems to be not responsive.
"You need to leave." Peter suddenly faces me with the same horror-struck eyes.
At least we know he ain't a simp. Like if it were any other guy in this situation wherein a girl is with him in his room, he'd probably show off that he's a Super Hero.
"Excuse me?" I can't leave just yet.
"Someone's coming here today and I kinda have a busy schedule." He lied gently pushing me away to go out of his room.
"Yeah, like what? Who's gonna come?"
"Uh... My dentist, dentist appointment today! Dr. Bryan is such a good man, like my teeth are so sparkly right after he handled me."
"I've never heard of a dentist coming to your house."
"Well, I mean yeah, he appointed to see me!"
"Isn't it the other way around?"
Me being distracted over his dumb conclusions, he successfully leads me out to the door.
"Peter!" I called out.
In a slow manner, Peter is closing the door with his head bopping out. "I'm sorry, Camille, I swear I'll make it up to you, I promise, I swear my whole life and being just please there's someone coming in today and make sure you'd come, I'll text you the details needed. Be there—" Finally, he shuts the door.
Rude.

"MMMKDHHGMHFGFHMM!" Peter groaned as he slammed himself down by the door with his hands covering his muffled mouth.
"Man, I hate myself." He muttered, knowing that his one chance to be closer with the girl is gone. It worried him. What he did was unacceptable, and it was impolite behavior, but he had no choice. She was so close to realizing that he was Spider-Man.
He didn't want anyone to know. Not even Aunt May. He didn't even have the heart to tell her that he was the man behind the mask.
He had no one to rant about at the end of the day, he has no one to share his stories about fighting crimes and lastly, he couldn't just use the honest excuse of going out to save some human lives.
Peter comes back into his room all miserable and anxious. As he was about to clean the web on his wall, his eyes darted its way onto the floor where a small piece of card lied down peacefully.
He grabs the item. It was a calling card. He doesn't recall retrieving an item like this so it must've belong to the girl he just asked to leave.
'(Y/N) (L/N)
+1 (5555)-XXXX'
The card was made of thick material and is less likely to be owned by someone who's at lower or middle class.
Strangely though, that name sounded familiar. The first name itself was something he knew he heard of before.
But that's not the case today. His mind was still not at peace considering that someone almost found out that he was someone in New York City.
"Agh. I messed up!" He yelled once again releasing his nervousness trying to convert it back to positive thoughts.

"AGH! I hate myself!" I screamed to the intact building of the new Avengers facility once the elevator that lead to my small apartment opened.
I opened the door enough for everyone to know that I wasn't having a good day.
To my surprise, a certain gingered hair-colored female was waiting for me inside.
Pepper Potts. Tony Stark's girlfriend and the only person that I personally think could handle my father's uncontrollable gambling addiction.
"Hey, (Y/N)! How was school?" She questions as she took a sip of her water.
"I was this close. THIS close to having it. Now, he's going to be extra careful and everything will be ruined!" I complained, flaring my arms around.
"Oh. I see." She commented, looking at me worryingly right after.
There were a lot of times, and I doubt that it would end, that I get mad over Tony Stark's orders. But in general, I just really hate this man.
"One of those days, huh?" Pepper asked, approaching my slumped body on the couch with a furious look. "Tell me what happened, I'm ready for it." She's the best.
"Okay so, Stark wanted me to spy on this boy. And I almost got this thing that could help with Stark's research for his suit and he caught me that's why I'm in a bad mood... And I'm mad at Tony."
"What did Tony do?"
"Nothing. I just decided to hate him for today."
Pepper snickered. She knows how my mood changes with my adoptive father. I knew her ever since Stark took me in with him, we're close and have this best friend kind of relationship which I really liked. She's the only person that understands me and puts consideration with my feelings.
"What else, Ms. (Y/N)?" She questions, sitting on top of the armrest and stroking my hair lovingly.
"He gave me like a week, I think. If I don't accomplish, I'd lose my chance joining the Avengers!" I explained as I felt my arms finally relaxing onto the comfy pillows.
"Well, there's still a week left you to know?"
"Yeah, but I mean like, I can't go on anymore, you know? I need more time."
"A week is enough time, (Y/N)." She stated.
"I don't think I'm ever gonna finish this mission."
"Hey." Pepper raised my chin with his hands, making me face her. "You're one of the strongest teenagers that I have ever met. You have powers for christ's sake. Stark has assigned you to lots of missions already why is this one any different from the rest?"
I looked away and remained to be silent. I know the answer to that, but I don't wanna say it.
"Let me guess... He's cute isn't he?"
'I swear to God, this woman could read minds.'
"No!" I blurted out smacking her hand away in defense.
Pepper laughed in response to my opposed act. "Awe, this is the first time you had a crush on your target." She snickered. She knows me too well.
"Going back. You're the daughter of Tony Stark... Just don't think of the deadline and do it. If you want, I could talk Tony about this." She smiled as my expression became happy.
"You'd do that for me?"
"Of course." She answered back.
I beamed back a smile. I couldn't contain my excitement and hugged her.
'I wish she was my mom.'

Fun Fact: Pepper is the reason why Tony and (Y/N) are stable. Through her, they'd be able to understand each other, and was the only way of clear communication. She always did her best to make their father and daughter relationship work out.
