THE PROBLEM THAT I NOTICED WITH PETER IS THAT HE GIVES HIS TRUST too fast. Setting my real identity to the side like what if I was a bad person that had the intention to tear him apart? He would be dead meat by now if I were to kill him.
And the other one was... Well... He's extremely talkative for a dude.
Peter has always been this fanboy, but he got more into context once he found out I was an agent which was all amde up. He seems to have more interested in my position rather than my background, which is a mistake when it comes to someone being exposed to this 'hero' complex.
In a subtle way, we should ask the subject questions and intimidate them to reveal answers they shouldn't have said. And in Peter's case, he's far from being 'intimidating'. He could be literally tricked by a cookie.
"If you're an agent, how come you're so young?" Peter questioned as we continued to walk back to his place. I offered to walk with him since I have to make sure he doesn't do anything reckless.
"Peter, shut up." I suddenly blurted out unintentionally since I was so deep in my thoughts.
Peter actually did close his lips almost instantly with a guilty expression that held such sad eyes. Why is he so adorably annoying? I can't stand it.
"I-I thought you wanted to talk? Isn't it that why you wanted to walk with me?"
"First of all Peter, you're supposed to offer the girl to walk her to HER home, and second, aren't you suspicious of me?" I pointed out as both of us stopped in our tracks to have a serious conversation. We were just a meter away from his apartment.
Peter looks at me from top to bottom before shrugging.
"This is why Tony didn't make you part of the Avengers." I blurted out, which was clearly not on purpose. If you're asking why I know, I planted a hearing device on their car on the way back okay.
"Wait, you're part of the Avengers?!" Peter's eyes twinkled in excitement, completely forgetting the basis of what I just said.
"No! Peter, what the heck. You're so gullible that I could just offer you free candy, take you home, and sell your organs."
"What I'm saying is that... Why do you trust me immediately? You never asked of my background and why I wanted to be with you."
"Aren't that's what superheroes supposed to do? Like team up?" Peter tilted his head to the side in confusion.
"Well, I mean, yeah. But, you shouldn't give out your trust like that. Especially to someone like me who popped out of nowhere."
"Are you saying I shouldn't trust you?"
"You're missing the point, Parker."
"Trust is something to be earned by someone worthy of it. And we talked like a couple of times, you should be suspicious on first meeting." I educated him while he had the same baffled face.
"Camille, just calm down, I just know you're not a bad person, okay?" Peter clasps each of my arms and comforted me like that's even going to do anything.
"See?! That's not even my name!" I complained, swaying his hands away.
"Oh? Really? Then what is it?"
I sighed and massage the bridge of my nose. "It's (Y/N) (L/N)."
"And my name is Peter. Peter Parker." Peter suddenly introduces himself as he held put his hand for me to shake.
I furrowed my brows and stared at him in disbelief. I took a deep breathe in defeat and just shook his hand.
"Heh. I like your name." He chuckled, which infuriated me for some reason.
Another of moment of silence to judge him quietly passed. The entire time he kept that angelic grin while I was annoyed.
"You know Peter, for a smart boy like you, you're incredibly stupid." I derided.
"And I'll take that as a compliment." He preached with a playful grin that he did on purpose to test my temper. He's clearly enjoying this.
I glared at him while he gave out that sweet, innocent smile.
"I'm leaving." I furrowed my eyebrows and adjusted back my backpack to my shoulder and turned in the opposite direction.
"Well, it was nice knowing you, Ms. (L/N)! Have a goodnight! You know we're still a team, right?" Peter yelled to the whole sidewalk, which made everyone who was walking stare at him like he was crazy.
"Whatever!" I shouted back, covering my face in embarrassment.
"Gotcha! See you tomorrow, (Y/N)! It's nice meeting you—again!"

Finally, I reached home. I've been using my jet boots a lot lately as transportation I should be more careful.
Went into my room to find that Tony was waiting for me. He was raiding my refrigerator again.
"Hey sweetie, how was school today?" He questioned as he reaches for something inside the fridge.
"Shit. Don't take me back." I retorted with crossed arms and hard footsteps.
"Do you hate it more than me?" He questions while eating some leftover chips.
"No. You've gotten to the level where you inspire my inner serial killer." I told him as I leaned on the kitchen counter table.
"Haha. Very funny. Tell me what happened." He replies sarcastically.
"To put into simple words... If idiots could fly, that place could've been an airport."
"Isn't like Midtown or whatever full of smart students?" He guessed.
"Yeah, and apparently having common sense is not."
"Sometimes I wonder who raised you." He commented with a light giggle.
"It's you and you did a wonderful job at it... Emotionally wrecked kid, sad all the time, and have more irrational thoughts than normal." I exhaustingly slumped on my couch and closed my eyes to relax my mind a bit.
"Hey, don't be too harsh on yourself," Tony advised as he comes up to me with a mug. He made me chocolate milk.
'I'm not. You're the one to blame why I'm messed up.' I talked back inside my head as I took the other cup off his hand.
"How's the Peter thing?"
"He's literally a fangirl for you."
"That's already obvious enough for me to notice. So, what happened how did you told him?"
"I didn't tell him anything that much. Except for the false fact that I worked for Nick Fury. I was kinda waiting for him to ask questions that would make me reveal in the part of 'who am I' side'. But no, he's more interested with what I do."
"Guess he's interested in 'who you are' and not 'who you are." He explained with the two sentences having different tones and meanings which I did not get.
"What the hell does that mean?" I asked as I took a sip of the mug.
"That means you're going to be there for him 24/7."
"Not that, like what you just said."
Tony sighed and started to walk around. This is the part where he says something that would change my way of thinking that never works nonetheless.
"Ever heard of something called 'making friends?'" He yammered with a smug smile.
"I'd rather lick a cheese grater," I said back, knowing too well where this was heading.
"Your face is okay, the problem is your personality... Do me a favor and dropped that attitude."
"No."
"This is why the Millan Family didn't like you."
"Not my job to please people who are and look like plastic."
"Look—Look. I did not just enroll you in this school to look out on Spider-Man." Stark finally takes his seat beside me to once again advise his teachings or whatever. "You're a teenager. Go have fun and make some memories... When you're old like me, at least you have some friends to look back into." He added.
"Friends? You mean the ones that used you for gambling expenses."
"Yeah—Those were people that were out of my circle."
"What about the people that left you to lie next to your vomit?" I reminded him that he too didn't have many good friends in the past, just good partners.
"Yeah, we don't talk about that one—You know what? Nevermind. Just study well, attend your classes, and you'll be fine." He changes his mind completely giving up to make me more affectionate.
"That's more like it."

Fun Fact: When Peter went back home, he immediately did sketches of costume ideas for her and hoped that one day she'll take his design. An Agent and a Superhero
A/N: only she ain't an agent 😏
ok just to clear some stuff out. y/n sometimes call tony by his name instead of dad where tony doesn't mind. they're a family but y/n just got used to being more casual with his adoptive father since tony wasn't really good of being a father to a child he has no blood relation with.'
QOTD: Do you want a hero as your lover to a villain as your lover?
you know what they say; a hero will sacrifice you to save the world while a villain will sacrifice the world to save you 🤧
