~Hannah's POV~

Later we found Phelps in his room, dead. He was clenching the carpet desperately still. We were no closer to finding who was responsible. The rain still fell relentlessly. We were all scared. Everyone seemed that way anyway, except Lord Phantomhive. He smiled as he talked and seemed to be treating it as a game. I looked at Author constantly and he always seemed concentrated and troubled with how some were acting. I didn't blame him one bit. I decided to talk to him quietly as we were sitting together. "Author..." I say quietly to him.

He looked up at me, "Oh! Hannah. Hello." He greets me. I smile at him and sit down next to him. "I've been wanting to ask you, did you notice anything strange about Lord Phantomhive or his Butler?" I say quietly so the Earl would not hear me. He puts his hand up to his chin, "Hm... Now that you mention it, Sebastian was acting rather strange when we were locked in his room for the night. He seemed to be expecting something. As if he predicted his own death..." My eyes widen a bit, "Author, there's something I need to tell yo-" I was about to finish my sentence when I thought a little. "Never mind. I need to talk to the Earl." I got up and left him where he sat and walked over to Ciel.

I bow before speaking, "Lord Phantomhive, may I speak to you?" He looked up at me and smiled, "Of course." I smile and sit down next to him. He rested his arms on his cane, "You look troubled." He says, his smile faded. I look down, "Well, something has been bothering me... about your butler." I say not looking him in the eyes. "What is it?"
"I... um... I think he's different."
"You mean was." He says looking down."
"Oh, yes, I mean was. He just did his job too well..."
He chuckled a little before speaking, "Yes well, as he always said he was one-" he stopped himself. "Heh, never mind." He got up, "It no longer matters. Tanaka is the butler now." After saying that, he walked away.

'What a troubled child...' I thought to myself. We waited several hours until he showed up. He called himself Jeramy. Ciel seemed to remember him, but it seemed fake somehow. Trying to see his soul was no easier than Sebastian. I didn't feel like getting a bigger headache than the one I had so I left it alone. He looked so much like Sebastian, only older, that I could say that he could be Sebastian's father. 'Wait! Sebastian was.... No, he's still not human. He couldn't have died that easily....' I kept telling myself. I can't get distracted.

~Time Skip~

The new arrival, Jeramy, Ciel, and the Earl Charles examined the bodies. Jeramy didn't need to take too long to make his assumptions.

Evidence seemed to be coming together. Everything pointed at Woodly. When he was confronted he of course denied it. They checked his room and found a poison, in his fire place, that made someone seem dead for a little while but wears off and the person it is injected in returns to life. It was earlier found that Siemons took it, threw the vile in the fire. But he was apparently actually killed in the basement. Sebastian was run threw once by a fire poker, and Phelps was poisoned by snakes.

Everyone was happy and relieved that they had survived. Woodly was carted off but the Queens butler and Scotland Yard, and everyone else except Hannah and Jeramy left.

(I'm being vague for a reason. Please don't be angry.)
                    ~Hannah's POV~

When everything was done, I felt relieved, but some things still bothered me. I stood outside, thinking. "If you stay out here you might get sick." Ciel said, "Why don't you come in? We can have tea." He says smiling. I nod silently and turn around a walk up the stairs. I had just entered the manor when I heard someone running up the steps. "Author?" I said confused. He looked at me briefly but walked pasted me and ran up to the end of the stairs and looked at the Earl and Jeramy, who stood beside him like Sebastian once did. I walk up behind him, "Author, what's wrong?" I said quietly. He ignored me. "I returned to hear the truth, Jeramy... No, Butler Sebastian." He says sternly, staring him directly in the eyes.

For a few moments he had a straight face but he then smirked. "It seems I underestimated you, Sir?" He reached for his face and starts pulling off his skin... no wait... It was a mask! He pulled it off, revealing his actual face. I gasped, "So I was right..." I said to myself quietly. Author raised his voice, "But.. How could something so unreal...?!" Sebastian tilted his head, "Oh? Didn't you come back to confirm your accusations? You could have returned to your peaceful life but instead you returned. You're even trembling." Sebastian pointed out. I look at him and he was indeed trembling.

"But, you were ran through!" I spoke up. He looked at me, "Ah, yes. You were the only who really knew. Although it would be hard to prove to anyone, including yourself." I sucked my teeth, "It wouldn't have been so hard if you weren't a bloody d-" He chuckled and I stopped talking and he put his index finger to his lips. "Not yet." Ciel sighed, "I'm hungry. Shall we despise this over tea? Sebastian go prepare some tea and sweets." He bowed and walked off.

We walked to the garden house and Author asked questions and they were promptly answered by Sebastian and the Earl. I stayed silent, not surprised by hardly any of it. Sebastian was never really 'dead', in fact he was run through twice, once by the murderer and the other by himself, just to throw them off. After everything was said and done, the Earl spoke up, "Tracking people down who break the laws of the Queen is my job. It is the job of the Queens Watch Dog."

Ciel smirked slightly, "What happened here was merely a test, a little game to test my loyalty. Authors hands were shaking. "T-that can't be. If what you've told me so far is true... Then that means... your butler is..." Ciel smirked wider, "It's been in front of you all along." My eyes fixated on Ciel when I heard Sebastian the opposite side of where he was, "Indeed." I turned my head and gasped. Sebastian's eyes were a bright red, his teeth were sharp. I gasped and tightened my grip and lean back on my chair. "The truth I'm not human."

The sudden shock of him suddenly being beside him, sent him flying out of his chair and onto the floor. He was panting and starting crawling backwards. "'Now that I do it I shall do my best to forget.' Isn't that right, Doctor?" Sebastian said quoting something Author himself probably wrote. He got up and ran towards the door. I started panicking and I stood up, but I dared not run. Sebastian had appeared I front of him and Author ran into him. He held the back of his neck and lifted his head, everything grew dark. "I wonder what would happen should you tell anyone." He backs up and runs past the demonic butler, "I'll never tell a soul!"

"We'll make sure you remember your promise." Everything grew darker still, the darkness surrounding Sebastian and heading towards Author as he ran. "We're always watching." His loud, dark voice echoed. Author had disappeared soon after. My whole body shook. What were they going to do to me? Ciel sighed and drank the rest of his tea.

"That didn't end as boring as I suspected it would." He says plainly and then looked at me. "What say you, Hannah?" He says resting his head on his hand. My eyes narrow at him, "I say that I'm leaving." I say and grab my bag off the table and starting walking. "Oh? Then I assume you will not tell anyone what you learned?" He says with a chuckle. I stay silent and keep walking without turning my head. I quicken my pace slowly. "Answer my questing, Miss Freemen." He says more sterling. I still say nothing.

He sucked his teeth as I walk out the door and outside. I start running as fast as I could, which was hard with the heels I had on. I tried hard to hold back tears of fear. They knew I was going to tell someone. Anyone I could find. The probably will kill me...
