I'm sorry it's taking so long >_<
~Hannah's POV~
They had decided for Ciel to be chained to Author and chain me to Irene. That way if we try anything, we can't without letting the other know. Irene did not feel comfortable spending the night with a suspected killer but I assured her that it was not me and I had no motive to kill anyone in here. 'Except a certain thing...' I said to myself. I stretched and let my long, white hair and brushed it. "So..." Irene says quietly. "White hair and purple eyes?" I roll my eyes. I was sitting with my back towards her.
"Yes." I say turning around. I promise if she says anything about a defect and associate it with the fact that I am a low class, I will not react nicely. "That's quite interesting." She paused for a while, "I like it." I smiled at her, "I'm glad you think so. Many don't think so." I say looking at the window growing tired. "Yes, well, we are all afraid of the unknown." I nod and yawn, "Indeed." I say stretching.
"Shall we try to sleep? We probably have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."
"Oh. Yes, of course. Good night." Irene said timidly.
"Good night." I say laying my head down.
I close my eyes and hug the pillow. I didn't sleep, however. The events ran through my head. Even though there were other suspects, I suspected the butler. He was too perfect. Plus he wasn't even human. Naturally I would suspect him but it's not safe to say if was him though... not yet anyway. I finally sigh and close my eyes, letting myself slip into a deep sleep.
~Next Morning... *cries*~
I woke up tot he sound of a women screaming. "Sounds like the maid..." I mumbled to myself, half awake. 'Perhaps she fell again.' I closed my eyes again and went back to sleep, only to be woken by a man yelling. My eyes shot open in annoyance. 'Ugh... Shut up.' I heard loud talking and rolled my eyes. Honestly it's hardly light out. I was about to get up when I heard a knock at the door. "Come in." I mumbled. The door opened to reveal who looked like a much older butler.
He bowed, "Pardon my intruding but I'm afraid something has happened." He told me. Irene had just woken up, "What is this something?" She says raising an eyebrow.
"Please follow me, My Lady's." He said unlocking the chains on our ankles. Irene put on a robe and we followed the other butler. He lead us to a room where everyone was gathered around something. The servants were crying. 'Who could have possibly died that the servants cared so much for?'
I pardoned myself while practically pushing a few people out of the way. I gasped when I saw him.
There was blood everywhere. Some even ended up on the walls. Blood poured out of his mouth as he stared at everyone with still, wide, eyes. Sticking out of his abdomen was a fire poker. The butler is dead?! How could this be?! He's not human! He is not a being that could simply be killed by him being ran through with a poker. I stared into his eyes, trying to see if they would move. They didn't at all. I mouthed, "I know what you are." To him. I know he could see me. He wasn't dead.
I then heard Ciel yelling at the servants, "Let me go this instant!" He screamed. He ran to Sebastian and stood over him. "Get up. I can't imagine the floor makes for comfortable slumber. I said get up!" He yelled once more. He waited a few moments before grabbing the poker and ripping it out of him. I gasped. I didn't think he had that much strength. He grabbed his collar, "I said wake up this instant! That is an order!" He said and smacked him. He did the same again and again and again. Just as he was about to smack him again, the cook grabbed this hand.
"Young Master. Give it a rest will you? He's dead." Ciel stared at him for a while and then looked down at the corpse. "You're kidding me... right. Sebastian? You, my butler..,. You were supposed to be there until the end." He leaned down until he was almost touching his chest.
"He'll tot of we leave him here any longer." Charles said.
"You're right." The cook said. The maid attempted to remove the Earl. "No, let me go! Sebastian! Don't leave me, Sebastian! That's an order!" He screams louder after removing something from Sebastian's bloodied coat. I began to feel really bad for the Earl. The poor boy had no parents. Now his Butler dies. Even though Sebastian was lying to him it still tore him up.
"Hm, neither the Earl or Hannah could have committed this murder." Lou says. "Things just got interesting." He says smirking and opening his eyes. Why does he have to act creepy like that? Strangely though, it didn't scare me. This is so confusing. I was to confused to make sense out of anything anymore. What are we supposed to do?
