CHAPTER ONE: Living in Konoha for the Second Time
Naruto
"That Sasuke..." I scoffed. "I can't believe all the girls could like someone as cold and idiotic as him, 'ttebayo!" I pressed my lips into a thin line as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "Not when they have someone as awesome as myself right in front of them!" I clicked my tongue.
I looked over me at a bird that flew by. My lips titled up into a mischievous smirk when an idea came to my head. All I needed to get the girls attention were Sasuke's looks! My gaze drifted over to one of the buildings of the Academy, and my grin widened when I saw Sasuke standing near one of the windows, eating a rice ball.
"Now, Uchiha..." I chuckled evilly. "I hope you're enjoying your lunch, 'cause you won't be able to eat with your arms tied up, 'ttebayo!"

The Hokage summoned me this morning to his office to show me the information documents about the Genin that I would have to take as pupils from today. I sighed tiredly as I recalled when I was told that it was time for the supervisors to meet their students. I secretly hoped that mine wouldn't pass the Graduation Exam but I guess I expected too much—especially since the test consisted of something as easy as the Bunshin no Jutsu. The one who didn't pass that exam isn't apt to become a shinobi at all.
I received the papers from the Hokage and eyed them thoroughly.
The first one was Haruno Sakura. Twelve-year-old, unnatural pink hair and emerald eyes. The best female grades in the Academy, number two rookie, excellent chakra control with a notable affinity towards Genjutsu... Guess I wouldn't have much trouble with her.
The second one, Uzumaki Naruto. Twelve-year-old, blue eyed blond. The worst grades in the Academy, didn't pass the Graduation Exam but Iruka approved him when he mastered the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Doesn't have good chakra control and his development with weapons is a little bit astray. I sighed. Kami-sama, what did I do for you to punish me like this?
I would have never wanted to become the supervisor of the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi. But since Hanako left the village—and she was supposed to take this team—I didn't have much of a choice. I continued with the next paper.
The last one was Uchiha Sasuke. My eyes lingered for a bit in the name. This was Itachi's little brother. Finally, I found someone interesting to observe. Twelve-year-old, obsidian eyes and hair. The best grades in the Academy, number one rookie, regular chakra control and notable mastery of weapons.
I put the papers down. Sasuke was one of the survivors of the Uchiha Clan and the last one that remained in the Village. But this documents didn't mention anything about his Sharingan and its development. "Hokage-sama,"
"Hm?" The Third looked up at me.
"Are you sure about this combination?" I asked.
"What is the problem?"
"I'm not sure if you should put a member of the Uchiha in the same team as the Kyuubi's vessel." I frowned when the Hokage chuckled.
"You sounded just like the rest of the elders after saying that." He stood up from his desk and approached me. "There's more than the abilities to look up to when I'm forming the teams. I look into their background..." He started walking towards the exit to his office. "Follow me, Kakashi." he said, turning his head to look at me from over his shoulder. "Let's meet the kind of life your students live in."

"That idiot...what is he thinking?"
My hands were tied tightly behind my back. I was lying on the floor with my mouth covered with a piece of tape.
That Naruto... Who does he think he is, sneaking up on me like that?
"Ano usuratonkachi da..."
I cursed lowly as I tried to cut through the ropes, but I couldn't reach my weapon pouch. That sneaky bastard...finally he managed to do something...
Suddenly a kunai flew through the window and landed right next to my tied hands, managing to cut part of the rope and letting me move my hands. I grabbed the kunai's handle and finished cutting the ropes, freeing myself.
I stood up and ripped the tape from my mouth—all the while cursing at the blond idiot. Why would he do something like this? Attacking me and tying me up to transform himself into me...
I clicked my tongue. I have to find him before he does something stupid.
My eyes then landed on the kunai I held on my hand. From where did it appear? I looked through the window and narrowed my eyes at a tree branch. Could someone be possibly standing there?
I shook my head and jumped out of the room. I would look into who could've helped me later, right now, I had to find that dobe.

"Regarding the next team of Genin you'll be in charge of..."
"Why me again?" I sighed tiredly for almost the fifth time that day.
"Don't look so upset!" The Hokage looked at me with a frown. "Gai made his own team last year and has already set out on missions with them. Aren't you eager to set out with your own apprentices, too?"
"Well..." Not really.
"I'm sure this new batch of Genin will hold your interest, though." the Third continued as we walked along Konoha's street.
We suddenly came to a halt in front of an apartment building. "This is...?"
"Uzumaki Naruto's house." he said as he looked at me from the tip of his eyes.
"The son of the Fourth..."
The Hokage chuckled. "Are you a little interested now?"
I just sighed and followed him inside.
"So, this is Naruto's house?" I repeated as I looked around. Everything was a mess, there were empty instant ramen cups on the table, open chips, dirty plates.... I shook my head. The bed was a mess too, all his clothes were scattered around.
"Yes." The Hokage nodded. My eyes fell on the milk and I picked it up. When I shook it, I could feel that it was denser than normal and I could confirm my suspicions after I smelt it.
This milk went bad a long time ago, I thought as I looked at the expiration date on the box. Minato-sensei was so meticulous...I can't believe this is his son.
"He's a blockhead, but you're the most capable to watch over him." the Hokage muttered tiredly. "You have a nose for this."
"Of course..."
"And, Uchiha Sasuke is a part of your team, too." he added before standing up. "Kakashi, as a student of the Fourth and bearer of the Sharingan, who would've thought you'd be the one to look after both of them." I sighed—again.
"I thought you had chosen Hanako for this..." I muttered as I put down the sour milk.
The Third chuckled, he opened the door of Naruto's small apartment before looking at me. "Hanako still hasn't come back, but when she does, I'll make sure to tell her to give you a hand. After all, I suppose your team will be a bit troublesome."
"And that's supposed to make me feel better?"
"I won't go easy on them, regardless of my personal feelings." I said.
"I know. I wish you the best of luck."
"Hai." I watched the Hokage as he left, closing the door behind him.
"This might become really troublesome..."

I walked around the Academy grounds transformed into that Sasuke-teme. There was no one around me but I stopped abruptly when I saw a pinkette sitting alone on a bench in a gloomy posture. Sakura-chan! I smirked. This was my chance.
I giggled uncontrollably as I rested my back on the trunk in front of her. Okay, Naruto. It's now or never. Act cool.
I crossed my arms in front of my chest. Okay, that's a start. Now, jerk face!
I pressed my lips tightly and smiled wickedly. Damn, how can Sasuke do it so easily and effortlessly?
Oh no... She's looking this way!
Pretend you didn't notice her. Pretend you didn't notice her!
Oh no, she knows I'm looking at her. Wait! I'm Sasuke right now! She must be dying for me...hehe.
Oh my god, she blushed! Because of me!
I'm such a charmer!
Oh wait, she's back into the gloomy posture! What did I do wrong?!
Say something, SAY SOMETHING!!
"You...got a big....forehead." She looked up at me. Okay, that wasn't so bad. Keep going. I approached her softly. "It's so charming, that I could kiss it right now..." That's it, Naruto! Nailed it!
She's blushing so hard that she could pass as a tomato, tehe! Now, I just have to ruin it for her. That way she'll see what a nuisance Sasuke is!
"Just kidding, that's the kind of stuff an idiot like Naruto would say." Oh yeah, now she will come running into my arms. You're such a genius, Naruto. Believe it!
She's gloomy again. He, this is my chance. She'll tell me/Sasuke anything.
"There's something I wanted to ask you." She raised her head to look at me in a second. Wow, who could be interested in anything this bastard would say? "Naruto....what do you think of him?" I asked as I sat right beside her.
"He knows about my feelings and meddles with them on purpose." She changed the tone in her voice into a much colder one, angered and hateful. She talked about me the way any villager would. I frowned slightly, she was just like everyone else. "He enjoys interfering and making me feel bad. Naruto doesn't understand a thing about me. He's a nuisance!" I widened my eyes. Why?! What did I do to everyone?! Why does everyone hate me so much?! "The only thing I want, is for you to accept me, Sasuke-kun. That's all."
"You want me to accept you?" Why him?!
"Yes," She blushed again. "That's what I want. And I would do anything for it." Oh no, she's coming closer. Is she.... Is she really going to kiss me? "It's true, I'm desperate." she muttered softly as she extended her lips towards me and closed her eye lids partly.
This is...what I've been waiting for... She was just like me. Desperately looking for someone to acknowledge her. Even if it's this idiot. I don't care what happens now. Now I understand, why I like Sakura so much.
I started to lean into her.
A low growl coming from my stomach made me pull away even before I got to kiss her. "Damn it! This is such a bad moment!"
I bit my lip and pulled away while wrapping my arms around my stomach.
"Kuzooo!" I can't hold it in!
I stood up from the bench and sprinted off.
"Hey! Are you okay?" I heard Sakura call after me but I couldn't stop.
"I...I'll be right back!!"

"Next up is a kunoichi—" The Hokage was suddenly interrupted by two people who suddenly appeared in front of us.
"Welcome, Sandaime-sama! And Kakashi-sensei as well!" the woman said loudly in a form of greeting. "Our Sakura will be under your supervision! Come in and have some tea!" He motioned us towards the inside of the house.
"I'll hurry up and get it rea-tea!" the man exclaimed happily.
We only looked at him silently.
"He, he, I couldn't help saying that..." He laughed nervously while scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Oh, stop! You're so silly!" His wife jokingly patted his shoulder before they both laughed loudly. The woman was a normal, middle aged blonde, while the man was tall, tanned skin, and his hair had taken a shape similar to a five-tipped star in a dark pink color.
"Ahem..." The Hokage coughed, gaining the people's attention. "I'm here unofficially. So, if I accept an invitation for tea at a student's home, other parents might frown upon it."
"Oh, please don't be so formal." the woman insisted.
"Yes, yes! Thanks to you, we live in peace and have nothing to worry about, Hokage-sama!" He approached us. "No one would dare to complain." he finished before he dragged the Third with him.
"Please, you too, Kakashi-sensei! After all, you're going to be our daughter's teacher. So, please, come in!" I frowned uncomfortably when the woman dragged me as well.
"This is really not looking good..."

Naruto
Phew! "That was close, that was close..." I sighed in relief once I was sitting in the toilet. "My stomach hurt so much I almost lost control of the jutsu. Why did it have to happen in such a moment, 'ttebayo?! Just when she was about to..."
I sighed. She thinks I'm a nuisance. I closed my eyes. She said so twice. I turn into Sasuke and manage to get near Sakura, and then she comes with something like this?
I grinned. "I know just the thing I have to do. I have to make sure Sasuke's such a jerk with her that she'll hate him more than me."
"Now, now, that's not a nice thing to do, is it?" I gasped at the feminine voice.
"Wh-Who are you?! You shouldn't be here, this is the boys' restroom!" I exclaimed. I was still inside of the stall, but now I felt uncomfortable knowing that there was a girl out there.
"If you want to know who I am, then come out, Naruto." My eyes widened. She knew my name?
I pressed my lips into a thin line. My stomach still hurt a little bit and I blushed a deep red when it growled loudly.
"Are you okay?" she asked softly, standing right at the other side of the door.
"I'm fine, 'ttebayo!" This is awkward.
"It doesn't sound like it."
"I don't need your help!" My stomach grumbled again and I felt like dying.
"You ate expired food, didn't you?"
"What makes you think that, 'ttebayo?!"
"No offense, but, it smells quite bad in here." I blushed harder.
"Then go out!"
"I can't." I frowned at that.
"Why?"
"If people see me walk out of the boys' restroom, they'll think bad of me."
"Then how did you get in?"
"I followed you inside."
"What?!" I snapped. "You were following me?!"
"I can't believe you didn't notice me."
"Fuck it!" I stood from the toilet and wiped my ass with toilet paper. "I have such a great plan and I have to put it into action. I don't know what the hell I'm still doing here, 'ttebayo!"
I put my pants back on and barged open the stall room door. My eyes widened when I saw a brunette leaning against the wall, with her head down and her arms crossed in front of her chest.
No...it can't be...
"You are..." She looked up at me and smiled. "Hanako!" I pointed at her and she smiled wider.
"So...you actually remembered?"
"You're back!" My jaw dropped.
"Of course I am! You didn't think I wouldn't be here for your Graduation Ceremony, did you?" She raised an eyebrow at me.
I felt so happy... I ran at her and hugged her tightly. "Why didn't you tell me you would leave?"
"I never thought you would take it so seriously..." She sighed.
"That I wouldn't?!" I pulled away to look at her. "You escorted me in the Academy Ceremony! That makes you my family! Why wouldn't I take seriously anything concerning my family?!"
I noticed that her eyes widened a little bit before they went back to normal. "Family, huh?"
"Yes! Family, 'ttebayo!"
She scoffed. "Well, I suppose you're right. I'm responsible for you anyway, so, I guess family will do."
"Yes! Arigato, Hanako-nee!" I hugged her again and her muscles tensed.
"Hey! You didn't wash your hands, did you?!" I widened my eyes.
"Whoops?" I pulled away at the same time Hanako sighed tiredly.
"Whatever, I gotta go. See you around, Naruto." She suddenly turned to look at the door and smirked. "There's someone waiting for you outside."
And with that, she disappeared. "How fast..." Wait a minute, OUTSIDE?!

Sasuke
I walked along the path, looking for that blond idiot. Where did he go? This was not such a big place to hide.
"Sasuke-kun!" Sakura greeted me, standing next to a bench. "Sasuke-kun, you came back! Don't be shy, you silly guy!"
I frowned, I came back? I was never... Oh, that idiot!
"Are you ready now? Because I am—"
I just continued walking past her, without paying attention to her nonsense babbling. Can she really be such an idiot to be fooled by someone like Naruto?
"Hey! Wait a minute!" I stopped and narrowed my eyes as I looked sideways at her.
"Where's Naruto?"
She seemed taken aback for a moment but she recomposed quickly. "Ah? There you go, talking about Naruto all over again. Whatever, don't you see that Naruto only wants to mess with you?" she said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Do you know why he's such a burden? Because he grew up alone. He didn't have a father or a mother to teach him good from evil. Think about it! He only does the first thing that comes to mind."
I wasn't paying attention to her as I glanced at my surroundings, looking for the blond. But what she said, caught my attention. I looked at her from over my shoulder.
"If I did all the stuff Naruto does, my parents would certainly go berserk and I'd be in serious trouble. But of course, I don't do that." I narrowed my eyes at her. What is she implying? "But if you don't have any parents to tell you what's wrong, then what would you do? Naruto's so selfish and whiney. So....alone."
"Alone...desolated... I'm not talking about your parents' scolding. You don't have any idea of what it really means to be alone." I said lowly as I looked at the ground.
"Why are you...telling me this?" she asked cautiously.
"Because..." I looked back at her with my eyes narrowed. "You're a burden."
I could hear her gasp while I turned around and continued my way back. I would have to find that stupid Naruto any moment now.

Kakashi
"The last one is...Uchiha Sasuke's house." the Hokage said as we both looked up at a more soffisticated apartment building. "At one time, the Uchiha lived in a special autonomous district. And now Sasuke is one of a few left..."
When we walked inside, it was a whole other world. In contrary to what we saw in Naruto's house, Sasuke—besides being an orphan—was pretty well organized and clean. Everything had its place in his room, and the sight was pleasurable to the eye. "Sasuke's father, Uchiha Fugaku, was very strict." the Hokage said. "Seems the boy is very disciplined."
"His older brother, Itachi, was very meticulous as well." I commented as I remembered his locker in the ANBU. His uniform was always neatly folded and his weapons were carefully put away inside of a box.
"Yes, I remember..." The Hokage nodded. "I assigned him under you. Look after the younger one as well... I'm asking you in place of their father, Fugaku."
"I didn't have to teach Itachi a thing." I said as I looked away from him. "His Sharingan was far more effective than mine."
"Regardless, you are the only Konoha shinobi who possesses a Sharingan now—"
"That's not entirely true, Hokage-sama." My eyes widened slightly at the new voice in the room. Both the Third and I turned towards the door to find a brunette, resting her back against the nearest wall. Her arms were crossed over her chest and her lips were tilted up into a knowing smirk. Her long straight hair fell freely around her face, covering part of her left eye, but she fixed her bangs behind her ear to look at us. "I'm back."
"Uchiha..." the Hokage started calmly.
"Hanako..." and I finished still in shock. She smiled softly at both of us.
"Hanako, I'm not surprised you managed your way into the village since we haven't changed the code after you left." the Third said as he looked at her. "But how did you enter Sasuke's house?"
Hanako chuckled softly as she reached to take something out of her pouch. My eyes widened slightly when she showed us a key. "Did you really think that I would let Sasuke have the only key to the apartment, Sandaime? As his tutor I need to have a spare." I looked at the Hokage as he chuckled.
"So, have you come to stay?"
"For the better, I guess..." She smiled softly. "I was wondering if the apartment you offered me awhile ago is still available?"
The Third smiled brightly. "I kept it for you. I knew you were coming back someday, Hanako."
"If you're his tutor, though," I muttered. "Why did you leave the village, Hanako?"
She chuckled. "What? Did you miss me, Kakashi?" I looked away from her but my eyes drifted back to her figure when I heard her steps coming closer. She had grown taller, about 5'5", her hair was longer—the tips reached her waist—and her features had become more feminine. I looked at her and expected to see the girl who always came to the ANBU to see Itachi practice, but now I only saw a full developed woman. A gorgeous one at that. I looked away from her again, trying to not get distracted by her looks. "I'll take that as a yes, then." She sighed before continuing walking past me. "I'm surprised... This boy manages to keep everything in order." She scoffed. "He really is Itachi's little brother."
"Speaking of," The Hokage interjected. "Have you heard of him?"
"No," She turned to look at us with a serious face. "Last time I saw him was during the massacre. I haven't seen him since then. The only thing I know is that he joined the Akatsuki." she muttered, standing in front of the glass door.
"Akatsuki?" I frowned in confusion. I looked at the other two, waiting for an explanation but they looked like they were not giving me one.
"I see..." The Hokage closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.
"Well..." Hanako sighed, turning away from the glass. "All this talk is making me hungry. I hope Sasuke has something to cook."

Naruto
I hurried out of the bathroom and ran along the hall. HUH?! I slid to a stop in front of a raven haired boy.
"Sasuke?! What are you doing here?"
"It's easy to escape from such a weak jutsu." He smirked. "I didn't even break a sweat, it was too basic."
"Eh...?"
He narrowed his eyes. "Why did you transform yourself into me?"
"I thought it would be fun to try my new techniques on you! That's why I did it, 'ttebayo!" I joined my hands into a handseal. In a moment, I created a bunch of clones and jumped to attack that bastard.
"Tsk!" He took a step back. "Kage Bunshin again?"
"This time you'll see what I really can do!" I started saying.
"And then you'll have to admit that I'm the best!" another clone finished.
"Get ready, Sasuke!" we all repeated together when suddenly my stomach growled.
I held my stomach tightly as I and all the clones retreated from the attack. "Really? Again?"
"My stomach..." I mumbled, turning around to head to the bathroom. "Let me through!"
"No, me first!"
"I need to go, it's an emergency!"
"MOOOVE~!!!"

Hanako
I finished my food and looked up at the two males. Kakashi looked at me intently, barely blinking, while the Third Hokage was as a calm as ever, leaning against the back of his chair with his eyes closed.
"So...are you just going to stay here or—" I started saying before I was roughly interrupted.
"You never answered me." Kakashi suddenly said. I looked at him. "Why did you leave the village, Hanako?"
I sighed. "Are you going to keep asking that? Can't I just pass that question?"
"No, you see... I'm quite curious myself, too." My glance drifted to the Hokage after he spoke. "Where were you, after you left the village?"
I looked back at the table. "Training."
"I see..." he muttered. "You were doing research on Essence, am I wrong?" I shook my head.
"No..."
"What's that?" Kakashi asked.
"A jutsu." I said. "A Kekkei Genkai, to be more precise."
"Kekkei Genkai? Like the Sharingan?"
"Yes... Kind of... It comes with it." Kakashi frowned, clearly not getting a single word I said. "Do you know about the Mangekyo Sharingan, Kakashi?"
Unconsciously, his hand moved to cover his left eye. "Mangekyo Sharingan?"
"You don't know anything..." I released the muscles of my neck and let myself fall over the table while I let out a distressed sigh. I hit my forehead roughly against the table in the process and immediately rubbed it gently with my hand. "Ow..."
"Why did you hit yourself against the table?" he asked with a bead of sweat in his forehead as he raised an eyebrow.
"Blame your ignorance..." I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, to put it simply, the Mangekyo Sharingan is the next evolution of the Sharingan that can be achieved by just a few that uncover its secret. Of course, there's a bunch of requirements you have to meet and a high price you'd be willing to pay." I narrowed my eyes. I was starting to pay that price and I finally realized what Madara had meant with eternal light. Damn it, I had to squint lightly to see Kakashi properly when he was right in front of me.
"What are the requirements?"
"You have to kill the person the closest to you. Let it be your parents, your brothers...or even your friends." Kakashi frowned.
"And what's the price you'd be willing to pay?" I smirked.
"The Mangekyo is not eternal. When it reaches its limit, you'll lose your eyesight, forever."
We remained in silence for a moment. Silently, we pondered about what I just said. The Hokage and Kakashi were probably thinking on what kind of doujutsu can the Mangekyo be to be so demanding. I, on the other hand, was thinking about how could I free myself of that fate. How can I obtain an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan? Why didn't Madara tell me that?
"Do you have the Mangekyo, Hanako?" I looked at Kakashi again when he asked that question, knowing that there was no use in hiding it now that the Clan was gone.
"Yes."
"How's your eyesight?" I pressed my lips into a thin line. Of course, Kakashi is smart enough to see it.
"Not as good as it used to be."
"Are you blind?"
"Almost..." I looked away from him. "I'm still looking for a way of keeping my eyesight...a little longer. But I haven't found anything yet."
"I see..." We kept silent for a moment until Kakashi spoke again. The Hokage was only listening quietly to our conversation. "You overused your Mangekyo, didn't you? During your Essence training..."
"I needed to do it, so I could learn how to control it." I replied. "Like the Tsukuyomi, the Kamui, or even the Susano'o, Essence is a jutsu that originates from the Mangekyo Sharingan. Those abilities vary from Uchiha to Uchiha. In this case, Essence is mine." I explained. "And... I'm saying too much. You know, this used to be one of the Uchiha's secret Kinjutsus, so I hope you won't go around telling everyone about what we just discussed." I looked at him seriously as I said that. "As a fellow user of the Sharingan, I trust you on this, Kakashi."
He simply nodded. I smiled softly and stood up from the table, bringing the dirty dishes with me so I could put them in the sink. "Now that I think about it..." I heard Kakashi say as I washed my plate. "Didn't you tell me that Hanako would assist me with my team, Hokage-sama?"
The plate slipped from my finger and fell loudly to the bottom of the sink, cracking over slightly.
"Oh, yeah that's right, Kakashi. Although, we have a problem. Now that I remember, Hanako is still a Chunin."
"There's no problem. I recommend her for promotion, I believe she's more than capable to become a leader." I glared at both of them from over my shoulder. What were they talking about?
"Then, we have no choice but to evaluate her, then."
"Tomorrow," Kakashi leaned against the chair as he looked at me with a smirk hidden under his mask and crossed his arms over his chest. "After I'm done with my students, I'll evaluate her myself."
This time I turned around completely.
"Excuse me?"
"That's an excellent idea, Kakashi." The Hokage commented as he stood up from the table. "I wish you luck, Hanako. I'll send you the apartment key with one of my ANBU. Please, feel welcome back into the village." He smiled before he turned to Kakashi. "Let's go Kakashi, you're already late to meet your new Genin students."
"Hai." And with that, the Hokage left the house.
However, Kakashi didn't even lift a finger. "What are you still doing here?" I narrowed my eyes at him. He chuckled and stood up. A frown appeared on my face when he walked in my direction. He stopped right in front of me, and looked down at me straight in the eye.
"You've grown." I smirked.
"That's all you have to say?"
"I would ask you how are you dealing with all that happened with Itachi. But I guess you don't want to talk about it." My grin vanished from my face.
"I've already moved on, Kakashi. There's no point in lingering on the past."
The silver haired man nodded in understanding. "I see... That's good." he said, staying glued in his place. I sighed tiredly.
"Kakashi, you're late. Hurry up and go before your students kill you."
"Yeah, yeah, I know..." he mumbled carelessly as he turned his back to me. "I just wanted to tell you that you can open up to me. If there's anything you want to tell, I'm a great listener. I'll help you." He walked to the door and looked at me one more time. "I'll see you tomorrow at three o'clock in the Third Training Ground."
I smirked again. "If you're late I won't wait for you. I'll just come back home."
He scoffed. "All right, see you there." He waved while walking out the door.
"Don't be late." I reminded him one more time before he closed it and sighed.
"I guess the Village had managed to change after all, Shisui..."
