The party began as Tae took Jimin towards the stage standing besides a magnificent 5 tier cake. Jimin's eyes shone under the lights, stealing glances at his husband every now and then.

"Am I looking so temptingly handsome that you can't your eyes of me Jiminie" Tae smirked, as Jimin's cheeks turned scarlet.

"Tae" Jimin whined making Tae chuckle. They took a knife cutting the cake together and everyone clapped for the lovely couple.

After the cake was cut everyone dispersed, some were chatting, others drinking or having a bite of the tasty snacks being served. Meanwhile someone entered the party uninvited, taking advantage of the gathering, he mixed up with the crowd.

Who was he searching for?

"Jiminie, Tae, Happy Anniversary" Hobi yelled running towards the couple, pulling them into an embrace.

"Hobi hyung I missed you so much" Jimin whined in the embrace.

"Me too Jiminie" Hobi sighed.

"Where is Jaemin!" Jimin asked making the elder nervous.

"He's at our aunt's place Jimin_ah" Hobi said wiping off the cold sweat formed on his forehead.

"That's strange, you never left Jaemin alone before!" Jimin said scratching his chin as Hobi chuckled nervously.

"He's a grown up boy now Jimin, he can stay all by himself" Hobi smiled assuring the younger as he nodded.

"Let's enjoy the party now Jimin" Tae pulled him by the waist as a slow tune played.

The couple went on stage dancing on the slow music, loosing themselves, as Jimin encircled his arms around Tae's neck, and Tae held his waist firmly. Jimin smiled going on his tippy toes as Tae lowered his head meeting Jimin's lips, kissing them passionately. The lights went off, everything going black. Initially everyone thought it was a part of some gig. But the light never cane back even after waiting for a good fifteen minutes. Jimin got tensed up, his palms getting sweaty as he held onto Tae for support.

"Jimin stay here, I'll go check out what problem is there" Tae patted Jimin's shoulder as he held Tae's arm tightly.

"Tae, please don't leave me all alone, I'm scared" Jimin's voice cracked as Tae cupped his face.

"Of whom Jimin? The people here are our closest friends and family. Don't worry, I'll be back in a jiffy" Tae smiled though Jimin couldn't see it, but he knew Tae was assuring him. He sighed nodding.

"Okay" he whispered loosening the grip on his arm as Tae left him alone.

Jimin stood there for a while waiting for Tae to return. Everyone started murmuring waiting for the lights to be back. Jimin sighed thinking of going down and standing by Yoongi. He was getting an uneasy feeling as if he was being watched, he shrugged it off as some kind of trick played by his mind.

Suddenly a hand covered his mouth pulling him backwards. He tried shouting but his voice came out as mere muffles, struggling in the hold he tried to free himself, nothing helped.

"Finally I got you Jimin" he heard a familiar deep voice which sent shivers down his spine. It was the killer!

He dragged him to a room and closed the door throwing Jimin on the floor.

"Why do you keep coming for me? Just leave me alone" Jimin cried, his eyes tearing up as the killer chuckled.

"Why would I do that? It's so much of fun seeing you fear me. It excites me thinking how it would feel to see you taking your last breathe" his laughter echoing in the empty room. He walked towards Jimin, closing the distance between them as Jimin dragged himself backwards creating some distance between them, till his back touched the cold wall.

"You are trapped sweetie" he chuckled holding a knife near his throat as Jimin shivered with the cold metal touching his skin, which went paler than before.

Jimin prayed for someone to come by and save him, but he knew no one would come here in this store room. How would anyone know his whereabouts in this blackout!

Lights came back, surprising the killer. Jimin took this opportunity to kick his leg and he stumbled groaning in pain.

"You will regret this Park Jimin" the killer yelled jumping on him as he lifted the knife to cut his throat.

The door broke open with a silhouette standing outside. The figure came inside, watching Jimin struggle.

"Hyung! Save me" Jimin screamed on the top of his lungs as Yoongi leaped towards the killer.

"You dare harm Jimin, I will kill you" Yoongi yelled catching the killer's neck rolling off Jimin. He grabbed the killer's arm which held the knife, both struggled getting a hold of the knife. Yoongi finally gripped the knife, slashing his arm resulting into a gush of blood oozing out of the cut. He pushed Yoongi off him, hissing with pain. His face contorted with pain, as he stood on his feet

"You got lucky this time, next time I won't leave you" he warned running out of the door, disappearing in the crowd.

Yoongi thought of chasing him, but stopped hearing low sobs behind. He couldn't leave Jimin alone, dropping the knife he went towards the younger and crouched down pulling him into an embrace, as the he sobbed, trembling with fear.

"You saw him right?" Jimin said in between his sobs.

"Of course, and I hurt him with the knife, it went through him! He's real Jimin_ah" Yoongi replied hugging Jimin tighter, who trembled under his embrace. He patted his back, drawing imaginary circles, as he calmed down.

"Jimin! What happen?" Jin barged through the door. He came running towards them hearing all the commotion earlier. Yoongi stepped aside as Jin cupped Jimin's face, wiping off his tears.

"That killer came to kill me Jin hyung. But this time Yoongi hyung was there and he saw him too" Jimin said turning towards Yoongi who nodded.

"That means I was right! The killer is real, not just a fiction of your imagination. You were not hallucinating Jimin_ah" Jin smiled as tears formed at the corner of his eyes, he enveloped Jimin into a hug.

"But what about Hobi hyung? Did I really see him that night? And why did the killer lied about Hobi hyung being dead. I talked to him later and he was alright" Jimin recollected everything, trying to connect the dots.

"That mystery would be solved soon. Just believe in yourself Jimin_ah, all pieces will fall in place" Jin said patting his head, making the younger confused

"What do you mean Jin?" Yoongi was confused too.

"I'll tell you both when the right time comes. Till then Yoongi, please take care of Jimin. Don't leave him alone at any cost. I'm trusting you on this!" Jin warned

"What about Taehyung? Why are we hiding this from him?" Yoongi asked making Jin a bit uncomfortable.

"Let's not talk about it right now! The walls have ears in this place, it's not safe. I'll reveal everything at the right time. Till then just trust yourself and no one else, okay?" Jin warned.

Both nodded. Then they went back to the party, acting as if nothing happened.

Jimin saw Tae barging out of Jungkook's room, flustered and angry. He went towards the washroom followed by Jungkook. Seeing Tae in that state made Jimin worried, so he followed them.

In the washroom,

"Just leave me alone, why don't you understand. I'm married for God's sake" Tae yelled jerking off Jungkook's arm which held onto him for dear life.

"What about me? I'm married too. You didn't think about this when you slept with me Tae. Now you are making excuses" Jungkook replied

"It was a mistake! Why don't you understand" Tae glared

"What's going on here?" a voice echoed as both turned around to face Yoongi who stood there with crossed arms.

"H-hyung I-"

"I heard everything. Just care to explain why you cheated on Jimin? I want the truth, no excuses Tae" he glared as Tae shuddered.

"I-It was a mistake hyung. When Jimin was hospitalised, I felt empty and alone without anyone around me. I missed him so bad, wanting someone by me, to help me get through this phase. JK was there with me back then, helping me out.

It happened on the day Jin hyung told me Jimin won't get any better. I wanted to die that day, I went home and drank too much. Jungkook tried to stop me and one thing lead to another. It happened in the heat of the moment. My intentions were not bad hyung. I feel guilty of keeping Jimin in the dark, what will I tell him? If Jimin comes to know about it, his trust would be broken. If he took any drastic step, I won't be able to forgive myself hyung" Tae said dropping on his knees sobbing.

JK stood there, frozen.

"Don't you have anything to say Jungkook?"

"I-I"

"If he wasn't in his senses, why didn't you stop him!" Yoongi stood there glaring towards him.

"I was wrong too hyung. I shouldn't have let that happen" JK teared up.

"What were you both arguing about?" Yoongi lost his patience with events taking place around them.

Why was everyone trying to hurt poor Jiminie. If only he had the courage to ask the younger out, he would be the one protecting him right now, not this cheater. He fumed with rage, trying with all his might to control himself from punching both the boys in front of him, just for Jimin.

"JK told me that we should tell everything to Jimin. But I told him to wait, he hasn't recovered fully yet!"

"Your statements don't match up! The conversation going on earlier was on a different track altogether. Don't try to fool me Tae, I'm not easy to fool like Jimin" Yoongi growled making both the boys shudder.

"Just tell him hyung. There's no point in hiding it anymore" JK said with guilt filled eyes as Tae sobbed.

"But-"

"Just tell me the damn truth!" Yoongi yelled, making them flinch.

"JK developed feelings for me. He wants to continue this affair with me, outside our marriage. He said he won't interfere in between, he can't stay away from me anymore. I clearly denied that saying I can't deceive Jimin anymore. This had to stop, it was so wrong" Tae said sobbing in between.

"Are you out of your mind? You want to break their marriage Jeon Jungkook!" Yoongi yelled holding JK by the collar.

"I don't want to. I wanted to keep it a secret" he gulped nervously.

"It is wrong just to think of hiding it from your partners! Jeon Jungkook, just come to your senses. I thought you loved your Jiminie hyung" Yoongi's grip tighten as JK gasped for breathe.

"I love him. That's why I can't imagine breaking his heart. I became too selfish, I know. I'm sorry. I'll just take a leave. I shouldn't have come here at the first place. I'll go back to the States catching the next flight I get" Jungkook said as Yoongi's hold loosened.

"What will you tell Jimin?" Yoongi asked gripping him by the shoulders.

"I'll tell him some work came by and I have to leave urgently" he smiled bitterly.

"As you wish. And stay away from them for a while" Yoongi warned as JK nodded storming out of the washroom as Yoongi spotted stains of blood on his left arm's sleeve. He shrugged it off not bothering to think about it when he had to save Jimin's relationship.

"Taehyung, I didn't expect this from you. You just had to take care of Jimin, and you failed in that miserably. Just stay away from that brat. Do you understand?" Yoongi glared as Tae nooded wiping off his tears.

"Yes hyung. I'll stay away from him. I won't give you another chance to be disappointed in me. I'll take better care of Jimin. Please don't tell anything to him, he won't be able to take it" he said getting up as Yoongi supported him.

"I won't until you break my trust again" Yoongi said in a stern voice as Tae blinked away his tears with a nod.

They both came out joining the party. Jimin stood by the stage chatting with Jin, laughing over his dad jokes. They went towards them joining their conversation.

Jimin smiled watching them arrive. He excused himself, turning his attention towards them.

"What happened hyung? You stopped me from going behind Tae and JK. Now JK left saying he had some urgent work after he got a call. What is happening?" Jimin asked getting confused.

"Nothing, everything is alright Jimin" Yoongi smiled assuring him.

"Why are your eyes so red Tae? You cried?" Jimin's eyes widened as he cupped his face.

"Its nothing, just got some dirt in my eyes. Let's go and join the party Jiminie" he smiled

"As you say" Jimin thought he'll ask about it later when they are alone.

Yoongi smiled as they went towards the stage, Jin stood by Yoongi.

"What happened?" Jin whispered.

"I was right. There was something going on between Tae and JK all along. They had an affair behind Jimin. I'm so disappointed in Tae" Yoongi whispered, Jin's eyes widened.

"What! I thought he was loyal towards Jimin_ah. Can we trust him now Yoongi?" Jin said scratching his chin.

"What do you mean by that?" Yoongi asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"The killer is certainly getting some help from an insider, who must be close to Jimin. I'm trying to find out who could be that person. And I'm confused now. Could Tae think of killing Jimin? Or is it JK?" Jin explained making Yoongi more confused.
