10 Years ago...

Kim Taehyung's father, Kim Dohyun used to work as a secretary to Park Jimin's father, Mr. Park Jihun. He stayed with his son and his wife who suffered from an incurable ailment. He tried his best to make sure his wife received the best treatments. But she passed away later, succumbing to her poor health. That time Mr. Park helped his son to get into a prestigious school in their hometown. While accompanying Mr. Park for the meetings, he met other influential persons who could go to any extent just to get what they want. Park Empire's rapid growth attracted many  eyes, some curious and some filled with jealousy.

Mr. Park was a man of substance, the business was passed onto him from his father and he got it from his grandfather. He was currently the third generation of Parks' to lead the Park Empire. Being an heir to such a huge empire was never easy. He put his everything on the line to see the company grow. However he never forced his son to takeover the company. Later watching his son following his steps made him feel so proud. Being a man of few words, he had always been a loving father. After his wife left him for another guy, he made sure his son didn't feel deprived of love at any point. One fine day he found a small boy, a year or two younger that Jimin at his doorstep with a letter which was by his ex-wife. She had a kid with her lover and couldn't afford to take care of him, being on the deathbed herself. She didn't have any other option than to send the kid to her ex-husband. He unwillingly accepted the boy, thinking he wasn't at fault. But little did he know this kid would turn out to be a bad influence on Jimin later on!

At Park Empire, things got busier. Mr. Park took help of his secretary many times, who filled in for his absence. Unknown to him his secretary turned out to be greedy. He wanted more than what he could have in his current position. He began leaking information of his company to rival companies, in exchange of huge sums of money. Once Mr. Park got a whiff of it, he understood his real intentions. Being heartbroken from this betrayal, he was obligated to hold him responsible for the company's losses and had to sue him which lead to his downfall. Mr. Kim's family was on the roads, and they barely made anything to survive. With Mr. Kim's reputation going down the drain, Taehyung couldn't see his future ahead, being tagged as a traitor! All his wealth and properties were lost in the suit, which the Park Empire won with their influence. Mr. Kim couldn't live with the tag of a traitor and watch his son struggle for a day's food. He took his life leaving a note behind for Taehyung who turned eighteen by then. He sobbed reading the note,

I was unjustly treated by Park Empire, neither did I have money nor power to go against them. My son, take revenge on my behalf. I know I can trust you with this. Please get justice for us...

Your loving father...

He sobbed reading the words, it was hard on him. He was already struggling with the payment of fees for his high school. What should he do now? His mother passed away when he was twelve, now with his father gone he was all alone. It was already hard to get by a day with all their bank accounts frozen, and not a grain of food at home. On top of this father wants him to take revenge! Where the hell would he go now?

"He fucking wants a revenge? How could he be such a coward leaving me all alone in this fight of survival? He expects me to get revenge on that Park Empire over this? I'm barely making ends meet here" he grumbled, as he threw the note after crumbling it. He went to the next place to apply for a job, he needed this job to get food for the days to come.

The next day, his school was visited by a group of companies who offered scholarship and internship opportunities to students once they clear their high school. Taehyung was one of the toppers in his class so he was eligible for the opportunity. He was called at the Principal's office. He nervously made his way there and stood outside the door to the office, raising his hand to knock on the huge plain wooden door where Principal's office was written on a shiny golden plate.

Knock knock

"Come in" a voice called out. "Oh! Kim Taehyung, please take a seat here. Please meet Mr. Jung Woosung, he's the secretary of Mr. Park Jihun, and a representative of the Park Foundation. Mr. Jung, he's one of our top students, you won't regret taking him in for this opportunity provided by your foundation..." the talks continued as Taehyung sat there with his head low. His mind wandering to his father's last words, get revenge my son...

It was an opportunity offered on a silver plate! How could he refuse it? After joining Park Empire, there was no looking back. He paved his way into Park Empire, creating a lasting impression on Mr. Park who even considered him as the best person for his son to get married with. He never dreamt of another betrayal coming his way. Taehyung later took the position of Managing Director, and now he was the acting CEO of Park Empire.

Present

"It wasn't easy to get to this position where I am right now" Taehyung smirked with his eyes stuck on the ceiling, sitting in the dark room which he shared with Jimin. He was going to confront him today, and try to make him believe the past was a mistake which he would never repeat.

"Jimin_ah don't you trust the one you love, your husband? It was all my fault, please forgive me" he sobbed in front of the mirror, later laughing. "I still have it in me. How I fooled his father to make my way into his company, the same way I'll make Jimin trust my words. He doesn't have much of a choice here" he chuckled taking a seat on the bed.

Door opened and a dark figure made way inside sitting on the opposite side of the bed. It was hard to figure out who sat there, in the darkness. He thought of getting up but fell back on his butt with his head spinning.

"Are you okay Taehyung?" a sweet voice filled with concern came from the other side. It must be his Jimin.

"I'm fine Jimin. I need to talk to you" Taehyung turned around facing the dark figure which was now facing him.

"What do you want to say now? Everything is over between us" the figure looking like Jimin spoke.

"It's not, I still love you Jimin_ah. How could you give up on us so easily? You can scold me, hit me or even fire me from my position. But talk to me like before, don't hate me Minnie" he sobbed, holding the guy's hand which fit perfectly in his.

"How do I trust you? Once trust is broken, is it possible to have it back?" he asked making Taehyung a bit confused. What is Jimin trying to say?

"I love you Jimin" he repeated, the figure stood up making his way towards Taehyung. Slowly climbing over him, he positioned his legs on the either sides of Taehyung's waist. He pushed him on the bed, with his hands over his chest. Taehyung fell back on the soft mattress with a small bump.

"What are you trying here Jimin?" Taehyung asked a bit puzzled from his behavior.

"Trying to convey my feelings for you" the figure looming over him replied. His face neared Taehyung and he whispered, "Let me love you tonight"

It was enough for Taehyung to loose control and kiss him roughly. He tore opened his shirt as his lover quickly slided of his tshirt. Both couldn't keep their hands off each other.

"P-Please J-Jimin don't stop! I need you so bad tonight" Taehyung mumbled removing his pants and swiftly turning them around to be in the top.

"I won't let you stop too" he  chuckled taking Taehyung by surprise.

In the heat of the moment Taehyung forgot a small detail about his husband, he had never been the one to make advances towards him, in the past. So what changed? Was it Jimin or someone else deceiving him in the name of Jimin? That is something we'll get to know soon.

Next morning,

After Taehyung got up he didn't see Jimin by his side as he usually does. He shrugged it off thinking it would have been awkward for him after what happened last night between them. He chuckled thinking how easy it was to deceive Jimin, he's such a softie. Now all he has to do is drive Yoongi and Taemin out of their house. Then he'll manipulate Jungkook like he did back then to make Jimin go insane. Finally he could get what his father wished for. He smiled making his way downstairs where he spotted Jimin sitting besides Yoongi at the dining table, there was some tension between them which he couldn't decipher.

"Good Morning love" Taehyung smiled kissing his forehead, surprising Jimin and Yoongi. What happened to Taehyung, they wondered!

"Good Morning Tae! You look happy, what happened?" Jimin asked out of curiosity.

"We'll talk about it when we are alone" he winked making Jimin confused. He nodded anyways trying to understand what was going on.

"Okay. By the way Jin hyung is dropping by today with Joonie hyung" he smiled making Taehyung nervous. Why were they coming, he wondered.

"Nice, do ask about your prescriptions to Dr. Kim and take them on time Jiminie" he smiled. Jimin smiled with a nod back going with the flow. He'll ask Taehyung later about this thing which made him so happy.

"I'll take a leave then" Taehyung got up finishing his breakfast, getting near Jimin's face he pecked his lips. Jimin's face went red, Taehyung chuckled watching him blush.  "We have been married for two years already babe, and you still blush when I kiss you. You're really cute" Taehyung pulled his cheeks before leaving.

"What's up with him?" Yoongi asked getting annoyed.

"Hyung, I think it's bad" Jimin frowned watching Taehyung leave.

"Why Jimin_ah?" Yoongi queried.

"All these gestures point out to one thing. He always gets all mushy after we sleep together. But we haven't done it in a while, so what made him this touchy all of a sudden. Weren't we together yesterday hyung?" Jimin asked Yoongi who nodded in agreement.

"Then what happened?" Yoongi mumbled.

"If it is what I think it is, then it's not good for me" Jimin frowned making Yoongi confused. "He may try to convince me to sleep with him tonight. The way he behaved is indicating towards this" Jimin added making Yoongi furious.

"Jimin if he makes you uncomfortable in any manner, call me right away. You have that emergency button with you right?" Yoongi asked.

"I do. I don't want to be near him after I got to know his intentions, hyung. He may try to harm me, I'm afraid" Jimin mumbled.

"Be strong Jimin_ah, you've to fight back  for your father's injustice. We are there to support you" Yoongi patted his back.

"I know" Jimin nodded.

"Now let's talk to James, we need him on our side" Yoongi reminded him. He nodded as both got up from their table.

Hoseok waited for Jimin's signal while he wiped the kitchen platform. James was looking inside the fridge to see if he needed ingredients for today's lunch when Jimin came and stood behind him. Jimin gestured Hoseok to hide somewhere as he talks to James.

"James, do you have time to spare? I need to talk about something and it's important!" Jimin said in a serious tone taking James by surprise.

"Yes sir, where should we talk?" James turned around closing the refrigerator.

"In my room" Jimin said, loud enough for Hoseok to listen. He ran off to hide in Jimin's room before they came.

"Let's go" Jimin ordered as they made way to his room.

Both stood in the balcony as Jimin began his interrogation just like Taemin taught him the day before.

Yesterday Jimin, Yoongi and Taemin practiced about how Jimin would ask James to come to his side. After the session Jimin was so tired that he slept in Yoongi's room not bothering to go to his room for the night. Today morning Yoongi saw Jungkook coming out of Jimin's room with eyes red and puffy and hair disheveled. He wondered what happened between Jungkook and Taehyung in that room to get him in this state. He told Jimin about it, which made him upset. Jimin thought of all possible theories and all of them ended hurting him even more. Yoongi was angered over Jimin still being hurt over Taehyung's behaviour. Wasn't Jimin over him already? Or he still loved him? All these things made the atmosphere tense when Taehyung arrived on the breakfast table this morning.

Jimin began asking James about his family which lived in the town. He told him they were living well thanks to Jimin. He then asked him about Taehyung's intentions.

"See James, I'll get straight to the point. I know you're working for Taehyung and I don't mind it. But if there's even a little bit of hope that you can be on my side then I promise to pay you more than Taehyung does. I'll help you out with the debt your family is under, from the past ten years" Jimin assured James.

"Sir, to tell you the truth, I can't do this anymore" he sighed making Jimin confused.

"What do you mean by that?" Jimin asked.

Hoseok listened to their conversation while hiding behind the book shelf in Jimin's room. Meanwhile he spotted something strange behind the book shelves. It was a key! What use could that key be for? Hoseok wondered.

"I...I didn't follow everything he said" Hoseok heard James's voice, alerting him. He shifted his focus on Jimin and James conversation dropping the key in his pocket.

Long time no see:')

Sorry for the late updates but I got kind of busy wiith my internship lately...

Now, will James get on Jimin's side or remain on Taehyung's? We'll get to know soon;)
